Hale On'tariō ligger højt på en klippe i Princeville, et førsteklasses kvarter i hjertet af Kauai's North Shore, perfekt til en aktiv udendørs ferie eller en afslappet tilbagetog. Dette hjem ligger på det sjette hul på Makai Golf Course og har en fantastisk panoramaudsigt over Stillehavet og Bali Hai-bjergene. Hale On'tario er for nylig blevet opdateret med nyt tæppe. Klimaanlægget er blevet opdateret (august 2019) for at inkludere opdelinger i alle soveværelser og et ekstra i stuen.

Hale On'tario er et afslappet valg for par, familier eller venner, der vil slappe af i et havudsigt hjem og nyde Kauais mange charme og eventyr. Der er to soveværelser i stueetagen og en hems soveværelse - hver med eget badeværelse og aircondition. Loftet har et andet fladskærms-tv, et Xbox One-spillesystem med familievenlige spil, to senge i fuld størrelse og en rulleseng med to enkeltmadrasser. Der er et separat kontor på loftet med en Windows 7-pc, gratis WiFi og en laserprinter, der kan scanne og kopiere dokumenter. Vindueovertræk og kraftfulde loftsventilatorer hjælper med at holde tingene kølige og private.

Der er et veludstyret kabysskøkken designet til let tilberedning af måltider. Spisebordet har plads til otte, og en stor Weber propan gasgrill er tilgængelig. Du kan spise al fresco på den afskærmede veranda, der har en farverig udsigt til haven, og fange solnedgangen eller nyde de smukke indigo-stemninger i havet over morgenkaffen på Lanai.

Placeret, hvor albatrossfugle hekker fra november til juli, inden for gåafstand til surf-pauserne på Hideaways Beach, det livlige natteliv på Hanalei Bay Resort, den splinterny shuttle (2019) til Napali-kysten og Princevilles populære flerbruksspor, Hale On'tariō er et usædvanligt praktisk feriehus. Anini Beach, Hanalei og Kilauea Fyrtårn ligger få minutter væk i bil. Snorkling og vandring i verdensklasse er inden for rækkevidde.

Perfect place for our family of 7!

Honestly everything was great. The location, the AC, the communication, ease of Che k in and check out. The house is beautiful and right next to queens bath and a 10 min drive to town. We have 5 kids and they all loved it. They fed the geese and chickens every morning that wander around the golf course:) really though I can’t recommend this place enough. It was perfect. We want to go back lol

Amazing View and comfortable stay.

Loved the view and location right off the Golf Course. Comfortable beds, all the appliances in the kitchen. There lots of dishes so you don't have to run the dishwasher every hour. Highly recommended!

The house was everything that the picture showed, the kitchen was well stocked with most everything except for coffee. The beds were really nice the A/C in the house worked very well. We would love to stay here again love the area in Princeville.

beautiful location overlooking the 7th hole of Macai golf course. House was spacious and nicely decorated. Equipped with many convenient home appliances, washer/dryer, beach towels. Very comfortable for all of us.

Wonderful home with everything you need!

Hale On'tario is a beautiful home ideally situated on the Makai golf course. The home has literally everything you could need including an exceptionally well-stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and beautiful living room with a view of the mountains and ocean. The deck is lovely for sitting and watching the nesting albatross and a plethora of colorful birds that drop in. The owners have thought of everything and we loved every minute of our stay. The property management was very helpful and responded promptly to any questions. You have the beach down the road which is about a 15-minute walk and the lovely town of Hanalei is only a 10-minute drive. Highly recommend this lovely property!

Wonderful Stay

Our group of 6 adults and 1 infant very much enjoyed our stay at Hale Ontario. The house is located on a golf course with wonderful views of the ocean. Each night we walked the very short distance to watch the unset and we weren't alone as this seems to be an event everyone comes out for. There are paved trails to walk or run-on if you enjoy the early morning cool before it gets to warm. The house was roomy, clean and comfortable. We had an issue with the Wifi, but it was fixed immediately upon our report of it. There were plenty of beach towels and 3 beach chairs that we used every day we went to the beach. Also some snorkeling gear, coolers and beach toys. We would definitely stay here again and are so glad we made the choice of Hale Ontario. Thank you for making it available!

A peaceful, relaxing vacation home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: With two master bedrooms on the ground floor and a loft for kids to share, this home was PERFECT for two families to share. The golf course location is near beaches, groceries, and light shopping -- with an absolutely amazing view. The house is fully furnished -- even the kitchen, which made our housemates who love to cook VERY happy. The only negative (and the reason I can't give it 5 stars) is that one of the master bedrooms does NOT have air conditioning. During the heat of the day and into the evenings it was hard to keep this master bedroom cool. So if you are sharing this house with other adults, make sure adults that like the heat get that bedroom.

Beautiful Vacation Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed or stay in this beautiful home. The view is beautiful and the home is well appointed. The loft was perfect for the boys, they had their own space and bathroom. We loved sitting out on the porch next to the golf green and walking along the course to the ocean cliff and it's spectacular view. As other reviews have mentioned, the front bedroom does it have air conditioning and can be hot - opening the window and running the ceiling fan helps some. The I rmaker was t working so we went with little ice until we located some ice trays late in our stay. I would encourage you to ask the realty company to fill the trays in the event this has not been fixed. We would stay there again and highly recommend this vacation rental.

A Slice of Heaven!

Loved the location as it is very private and not right on the street, with views that are postcard perfect...many evenings were spent sipping wine and watching the glorious sunsets. The design and furnishings are beautiful but not stuffy, perfect for the North Shore. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with excellent cookware and spices…with this fabulous home you might not want to eat out! The beds were super comfortable and the owners have thought of everything you might need for a beach vacation…beach towels, Tommy Bahama chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, beach toys, BBQ…and two bikes with locks. (Dad would drop us at the beginning of the trails for Hideaways and Sea Lodge and bike back…) Another lovely aspect of our stay was the local management company the owners chose. Bali Hai greeted us with a lovely note and flower arrangement and called to check on us. When we had a little problem with water, they were right on it. (Christine and her colleagues from Bali Hai Realty were amazing….) We plan to return…mahalo nui loa!

Superior Location with Sweeping Vistas

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nt stay at Hale On'tario house. It was comfortable and roomy and located in the lovely Princeville neighborhood along the 6th fairway with wonderful views. There are 2 ground floor ensuite king bedrooms plus a spacious ensuite loft bedroom that could sleep 4-5 children. (Be aware that the sound from people walking heavily in the loft does travel down into the master bedroom). It's a superior location for all your North Shore activities and sightseeing (although some of the trails, beaches and roads were still closed due to the devastating floods of April). The popular and challenging trail down to Queen's Bath is just 2 minutes down the street. Use caution because after recent rains it becomes a muddy, slippery slope! It's also about a 2 hr drive to Waimea Canyon where we did the recommended Cliff Trail hike. For golfers, Princeville Makai is a must, but we also really enjoyed Puahea Golf Course down near Lihue Airport. At $65, it's a real bargain. We spent most evenings in the cute nearby town of Hanalei and enjoyed The Hanalei Gourmet; Kalypso and Bar Acuda. With everything lush and green, this is the Hawaii we all picture in our minds!

Great setting on golf course

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Hale On'tario home for 5 nights in February 2016 and greatly enjoyed the home. It had wonderful views of the golf course and the ocean just beyond, and a beautifully renovated kitchen and living area. We enjoyed watching the resident albatross and her newly hatched chick just outside the window, along with the other albatross that used the lawn for landings and takeoffs. One downside was the 2 broken window screens (2 of 4) in the living area which allowed the afternoon sun to fully shine through the large windows. It wasn't too horrible as we were gone enjoying the beaches most of the afternoons of our stay, however it could be a nuisance if you are home all day in the heat. The only other issue was privacy in the bedrooms. The front master (with the A/C unit) has wonderful views facing the patio, golf course, and ocean. A curtain would be greatly appreciated as every morning I had to make sure the family (or golfers!) wasn't lounging right outside my room in full view of the bed. The 2nd bedroom downstairs has an odd, large window that faces the formal dining area. It is slightly mirrored, however if someone were to be in there (say, kids running around :) they could clearly look into your bedroom at any moment. I personally found that to be quite bothersome and would be an easy fix with a few curtains. Overall we loved the home and it's location in Princeville, but would suggest those few changes for future renters.

Warm, inviting home.

I loved the view from the home and the snacks they had put out with accent lights turned on and waiting for our arrival. I loved the well stocked kitchen. Pots, pans, cups, utensils, paper towels, garbage bags. I loved the beach towels, laundry access, and and the very homey feel this house has. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place.

Sanctuary

What is beautiful view of the ocean and mountains! The home was very clean with comfortable bedding, linens and housewares including basic supplies. All we needed was to buy Kleenex along with our chosen food and beverages. The one glitch is that the upstairs loft bedroom is sweltering hot even with the AC on full blast. Just re-locating the unit on the adjacent wall higher up may solve the issue or replacing this older unit altogether. One minor inconvenience is that the Wi-Fi signal goes in and out on occasion. Finally, there was construction noise directly next-door with a condo renovation which was not conveyed at all. The construction at the house on the other side did not disturb us. Overall we enjoyed our stay complete.

Home Sweet Home

Spectacular views, comfort and location

Just a perfect location on the north shore for our stay. The house is very thoughtfully appointed and easy to find things/make things work. comfortable beds too! We loved all the different ways to manage temperature in the house - letting in more or less sun / more or less outside air and turning on AC if necessary. The Albatrosses were a highlight for us! We got to see a baby Albatross on the next just between the house and the 7th hole tee, by the mangroves. That is a once in a lifetime experience. We'd recommend Hale On'tario to anyone.

Princeville, nahe der Albatrosse

Das Haus liegt ideal und war sauber und schön eingerichtet. Es hat in der Küche die Basisausstattung. Was mir fehlte, war die Basis an Lebensmittel wie Öl, Gewürze. Aber sonst war es perfekt und es gab auch ein Willkommensgeschenk, was ich sehr sympathisch fand.

Beautiful house with lots of bird life

We loved watching the albatross, Nene (Hawaiian geese) and other birds each morning, plus the view of the mountains - gorgeous!
