Holomakai B and B er en ferieudlejning med tre soveværelser til leje hver for sig på Mauis nordkyst. Hvert værelse har eget badeværelse, AC, minikøleskab, tv og WiFi. Resten af huset, indgangen, fuldt udstyret køkken, stue og rummelig havudsigt Lanai, er alle delte rum med de andre gæster og ejere. Beliggende nær vejen til Hana er vi ideelt beliggende til at udforske denne side af Maui. Vi er på landbrugsjord og dyrker bananer og citrus. Til morgenmad leverer vi bagels, æg, yoghurt, vafler, havregryn, bananer, kaffe og te. Morgenmaden er selvbetjent og tilgængelig når som helst. Vi bor på ejendommen og er til rådighed til enhver tid for spørgsmål og hjælp. Vi er tilgængelige for en nat minimum ophold.

En anden ting at bemærke er, at vi ikke sprøjter pesticider i huset. Vi arbejder hårdt for at holde insekter i skak, men de finder lejlighedsvis en vej indeni.

Ocean Splendor

We had a beautiful stay at North Shore Maui. A steady breeze from the ocean and the quiet lulled us to sleep. We had everything we needed and wanted provided. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable and spanking clean. We would be delighted to stay there again in the future.

Tranquil paradise

Such a beautuful spot. I wish we were able to spend more time here. The view house is lovely and the view amazing. The host's communication was great. A definite must stay.

Beautiful property

Only stayed one night after flight in. Was dark when we arrived but was super easy to find. Loved the view from room as sun cane up. And so happy we are going back to stay our last night on the island and spend more time at the wonderful B & B.

A gorgeous and peaceful place, surrounded by a beautiful garden. We had a great on the ocean view from the patio/balcony of our room. Very lovely, deeply recommended.

Beautiful property!!!!

This property is gorgeous and untouched by tourism. However, it’s about 8 miles (20 min) from Paia and this about 30 min from OGG. Just for reference in case you’re thinking it may be closer to airport.

Very clean property

We only stayed one night in room #2 upstairs. The room was very clean and spacious. Restaurants were approx 10 min away. Call out to Nuka restaurant. It was excellent. Breakfast was self serve and very good. This is a great place to stay for 1 or 2 nights.

Sister Trip

This property is an oasis from the moment you turn onto the driveway. The wrap around lanai gives you unobstructed views of the ocean, surrounded by lush greenery. Extremely private and quiet, this rental is perfect for a relaxing getaway while still being 15 min away from downtown Paia. The house has 3 units and a communal kitchen that is stocked for a self serve breakfast. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a rejuvenating and peaceful stay on Maui.

North Shore BnB

The rental was great and we were very pleased. The house is very secluded and peaceful. It is located right at the start of the road to Hana so we were able to be some of the first on the road. The common areas are shared but in the three days of our stay, we never saw another person. The individual rooms have their own lock so security is not an issue. Great views from the back deck. The grab and go breakfast options were also very convenient. Would highly recommend to anyone staying on Maui that wants to drive the Road to Hana or visit Haleakala.

Great!

We needed a place to stay after getting in late and wanting something that would allow us to get on the back road to Hana early. This place worked perfectly. We stayed in room #2 which is right off the kitchen. Room was large and nicely decorated. Bathroom was good. Nice to have a lanai off of the room. We got there in the dark so we were amazed to see the beautiful grounds of the property. Having breakfast options in the morning was a huge bonus and we were able to fill up before getting our day going. We would definitely stay here again.

Secluded getaway

We stayed here our first two nights on Maui. We were looking for a location that would not be too far from the Haleakala summit which we did on our first morning there. It is about 1:15 hrs to get to the national park. We liked that the breakfast was "serve yourself" because we had to leave around 4:30 a.m. to get to the sunrise at 6. The icemaker in the B&B refrigerator did not work while we were there but the owners provided ice to meet our needs. This is a very rural and secluded area, and it's about a mile to the shoreline. There is no access to that shoreline. They provided beach towels but the nearest beach is Hookipa about 15 minutes west. The grounds property was large, and there were coconut and fruit trees. The large porch on the building was nice for sitting and reading in the evening. There are food truck, restaurant, and grocery options available at the Cannery in Haiku about 10 minutes drive away.

Stunning Beauty and Solitude

Lovely house with broad view of ocean beyond. Lush grounds and long driveway result in an oasis in the palm trees away from human and road traffic. Room was clean, well supplied and had separate access to lanai, which was delightful. Bed and "breakfast" is a bit of a stretch, as the Eggos, bagels and eggs were self-cook-serve and self clean up. Coffee and tea provided; some juices would be a nice addition. Only other suggestion would be to refresh towels and take out room trash every other day or so. Owner is on-site in a separate house and accessible if needed. VRBO "x-ed" out the street address and access code in the manager's email to us with access information, resulting in a process of hunting for the right house in an unfamiliar area -- not the fault of the manager, but VRBO. Luckily, when we arrived and were contemplating whether we had the right place, the owner, Howard, came out and greeted us warmly and showed us the home. He later provided all the information we needed (as well as excellent dining recommendations nearby), but it would've been better if VRBO had not blocked the numbers in his email. All in all, a delightful stay at a beautiful, clean property.

This is a nice option for the area it’s in — clean and comfortable and quiet. The common areas are quite nice, and the private space was roomy. It was nice to have the kitchen, though we used only the refrigerator.The only drawback is that there is little recreation on that side of the island, compared to the tourist-heavy west side. You need decide which is important to you.

Perfect location for Road to Hana

This was a great location and stay for the one night we needed to begin our road to Hana trip. The shared kitchen provided a convenient area for coffee and a light breakfast. There were a decent amount of bugs/spiders in the bedroom and bathroom, and lizards in the kitchen area, but I guess that's to be expected for this area. We had dropped an airpod in the driveway and the host was kind enough to message us and arrange for us to pick it up on the way back from Hana. We enjoyed our stay here.

Didn’t meet expectations

The online pic depicted a beach , but appeared to be photoshopped. Never saw owner/manager. Had trouble with frt door. Saw 4 lizzards / gheko inside. Wife wouldn’t use shower after seeing 6-7 spiders. Bed was very comfortable.

Beautiful house, full kitchen and living area access. Our room was lovely, with private deck. Ocean view. Howard was so helpful and responsive. Quiet home, near variety of restaurants. And yet close to airport. Hope to stay longer next time.

Beautiful place to get away!

We were here for only one night but could have easily stayed more. This was our second time here and it has been wonderful both times. Owners are nearby but give you ypur own space which is wonderful!Nice quiet property and a great tropical feel. Love the lanai area and also the kitchen area and meal options.with places to keep pur own food cold and fresh. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Days In Haiku, Maui

We spent two days in Haiku at North Shore Maui. We picked the location because it was near our son's home. It turned out to be a great place to stay and enjoy our time. The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable. The joint areas like the kitchen, living room and porches were well supplied and comfortable. We met several other guests while there and everyone we met was welcoming and kind with a story to tell. Mahalo!
