VILLA ILUSION kombinerer et hus med kabine (studio loft) med 5 hektar ren natur med plads til 6 personer. Dette sted inkluderer fællesarealer til specielle aktiviteter såsom fødselsdage, intime bryllupper eller gruppemøder.

Det er beliggende i et afsondret, privat og beskyttet sted med en forfriskende bakke, beliggende mellem to verdener: 5 minutter fra den varme og fugtige kystslette ved døren til regnskoven i El Yunque; og 15 minutter fra strande, golf og udflugter til bugten. Madlavning af dine egne måltider i det veludstyrede køkken, restauranter i området tilbyder dine kulinariske lækkerier, eller du kan bestille måltider serveret i villaen.

Vores kunder elsker de store haver er velplejet med en række tropiske planter. Indgangen til sektorens private vej er lukket, ligesom dens indgangsvej til landsbyen. Dit privatliv er ikke matchet her.

Huset er komfortabelt, inkluderer komplet køkken, spisestue, stue med store vinduer, 3 soveværelser og 3 1/2 badeværelser end sove 6 personer komfortabelt. Tre værelser er i hovedhuset med 2. 5 badeværelser og jacuzzi. Tredje soveværelse er beliggende i tilstødende hytte type hems med eget bad. For nylig byggede vi en swimmingpool.

We loved our stay at this house! Getting to it was an adventure, but easy enough to find with the directions. The landscaping and surrounding forest was beautiful - we could hear and see so many animals and flowers blooming. It made our stay really magical. The house itself was comfortable if a little outdated and in need of repair, though we had some extra visitors inside - a couple cockroaches in the living room, a brown recluse spider in the bedroom, lizards throughout the house, and a Coqui frog. Overall the house made for a great base to see a ton of sights throughout the island during our stay, and was a great spot to unwind at the end of a fun day. Thank you!

Rainforest Stay

Location is AMAZING if you want to stay in the rainforest. The house is not perfect but functional. Our host was excellent, very fast response time and quickly got us up and running with the generator when the whole island was without power. We slept very well in the air conditioned bedrooms.

Great property and location

Location and property itself is superb. Very peaceful and private. Some of the home could use some updating but overall enjoyed our stay.

The host was welcoming and the location was lovely and very private. The pool was very nice and clean. However, there were a number of issues with the property that need to be addressed before I would recommend staying here. Inside, the house smelled musty and there were mold spots on the ceiling, either leaks or moisture from humidity. The dishes were dirty, the hot water was lukewarm, the countertops need to be replaced, the icemaker was not connected, some of the light switches were missing faceplates. The pots and pans were pretty old as were the stove, and there was no cutting board, although the refrigerator was nice and new. There was no soap for the dishwasher, although there was liquid dish soap. There were plenty of towels, but no washcloths.The deck boards on the balcony are somewhat dry rotted and slippery, although they were solid. The exterior of the house and the veranda was freshly painted and the patio furniture was excellent, but the outbuilding next to the house is in serious disrepair and had discarded equipment and trash inder it. The landscaping was lovely, but is badly overgrown and needs some attention. There were two propane grills and they were in decent condition, but one had no tank and and the other had an empty tank. The pump for the pool was also very noisy, which distracted from the incredible surroundings.

Beautiful rainforest setting

Very friendly and responsive host. Comfortable accommodations and very private. Loved the private pool and rainforest experience. Small Appliances were dated - toaster, coffee maker, microwave- but functional. Some distance to services and beaches. Enjoyed our stay!

Paradise Discovered!

This is a house in a absolutely beautiful setting! The flora and fauna is absolutely delightful! The pool is a highlight-a wonderful spot to return to after a day of discoveries! We plan to return on our next visit to Puerto Rico. Thank you Margarita and Antonio!

Beautiful rainforest retreat

We had an amazing stay at the property! The lot is outstanding and it’s surrounded by lush tropical nature and coqui singing all night) enough space to fit comfortably a family of 3. Outdoor shower was my favorite along with the tub! Balcony overlooking the rainforest and a decent size pool were great too! Kitchen had everything we needed) very cozy place! we definitely will be back!

Rainforest getaway.

Beautiful property. Pool was amazing deep in the rainforest very private. Antonio and Connie were very accommodating. I wished we had more time to enjoy the place we stayed very busy on the trip. And had a great kicking off place for everything in the north east corner of the island!

Your private forest house

Just at the edge of El Verde/Yunque area. Excellent host communication. Good green areas and a clean pool. The inside of the house provides an open kitchen/dining/family. Good balcony for sunny days. Covered terrace and BBQ area for outside cooking.

Peaceful paradise

We had an amazing time at this location. It was, just as described, a wonderful escape into the exterior bits of the rainforest. We felt like we got to hear and see more things staying here than when we visited El Yunque. The sounds at night were awesome. The house was open and refreshing. If you're a fan of rural living and enjoy being away from the crowds, this is the place for you. We didn't want to leave, that is for sure.

Beautiful secluded getaway!

Great place for our family to use as a home base while we explored the east end of the island! Our boys loved the pool and yard, and the house was 10-40 minutes from everything we wanted to do - beach, snorkeling tour, El Yunque, great restaurants, old San Juan, etc! Great communication and easy check in/out. Rainforest noises did take a bit to get used to at night, kinda like indoor camping. Great spot if you want to stay out of the tourist traps and resort areas and get a bit closer to the “real” Puerto Rico.

Rainforest retreat and base for adventure

I wish VRBO allowed recordings, because the sounds of rainforest frogs and birds at night are amazing. Spacious and totally secluded home with pool, deck with views, and several patios, surrounded by lush jungle. You won’t see another person or house. The house could use a fair bit of maintenance and the back bedroom is a bit dark, but the living room is bright and welcoming as is the master bedroom. Host communication was very good. We really enjoyed hiking and beaches at the Reserva Natural de Las Cabezas de San Juan, and El Yunque National Forest. Great dinner at the laid back La Estacion restaurant in Fajardo. We also did a trip to Old San Juan, which was very touristy but worthwhile.

The place was amazing for getting away from it all! Totally secluded. Loved the pool and the Landscaping was amazing. So many different flowers and fruits. A bit far away from the beaches. Miles don't mean minutes. Would have liked the owners to point out some cool local spots that were minutes from the house but had to find them on our own. One we found on our last day and would have loved to explore more. I would go back.

Great choice for our stay. Host was also great.

What a gorgeous and relaxing environment to be in. Lovely, remote and quiet. The home was comfortable. Be aware that being in a rainforest, you will experience rain showers daily. Lots of moisture, inside and out. This isn't a complaint by us. The lack of a washer and dryer was difficult. Towels and clothes never dried out. We didn't take this into consideration.We expected two king beds as listed. However, they were queen beds. If it's in the listing, that's our expectation. That part of the listing should be corrected by the host.If staying in this area of Puert Rico again, we would happily book this property again.

Beautiful location

This property is good if you are not looking for a top-of-the-line rental, as with all VRBO there were good and bad aspects. The good: Home is in a beautiful location, tons of privacy and very spacious. The pool was amazing and plenty of body towels were provided. The property manager was very responsive with all questions and needs. The not so good: The beds are NOT king sized, they are queen. Half of the windows do not close, therefore rendering the air conditioner in the main bedroom useless. The broken windows also allowed bugs in, however, the frogs that also got in, ate the bugs, so not a big deal. The dishwasher leaks. The counters in the bathroom and kitchen were not thoroughly cleaned upon arrival and we had found a previous renters retainer left in the kitchen. The "bad" outweighs the good so I would rent this property again.

Rainforest Paradise

The location of this property is absolutely stunning!!!! The sounds of the coqui’s in the evenings throughout the night.. it’s a true rainforest experience. We were a little taken back by the conditions of the house. It could be cleaned out and polished up a bit even if it is difficult to update or remodel at the time. It’s not a home I would bring the whole family if you plan on staying indoors much but there is so much to experience in Puerto Rico that you probably wouldn’t be. It’s a comfortable place to sleep. There is cold a/c in the rooms and we didn’t have problems with anything while we were there. The pool is perfect! We did enjoy spending time at the pool enjoying the nature and landscaping. The hosts are great!! They were very accommodating, friendly and hospitable.

Tranquil Paradise

This is a phenomenal property tucked into the rainforest with incredible landscaping and lush tropical flowers. The pool is a getaway from the world and the perfect spot for a refreshing dip in the morning or in the muggy afternoons. The bedrooms are nice and cool and fans throughout the living space make the temps comfortable inside the house. Thoughtful details including fresh flowers in vases, pool towels, two coffee makers and extra toiletries made for a delightful stay. We woke up every morning feeling blessed to be in paradise. And so much better than a crowded resort! Great Location!! You are about 20 minutes from Playa Fortuna (our fave) and Luquillo beaches (great food at the kioskos in Luquillo just along the highway) and an easy 45 from snorkeling trips and kayaking in Fajardo. If you book, try the FamCoop grocery nearby. We didn't have much success at Ralph's but you'll find everything you need at the FamCoop including a birthday cake for our teenager. Thank you for sharing this amazing home with visitors.

Rainforest Paradise

We stayed in Villa Illusion from December 30 to January 2 to celebrate New Year’s with a group of close friends. It was the perfect getaway! The house is situated in the El Verde sector in Río Grande, which borders the El Yunque National Rainforest and is conveniently only 45 minutes away from the San Juan metro area. The house is inside a secure gated community. There is a gate at the entrance of the community and another at the entrance of the property. This was a plus! We felt very safe and very secluded at the same time. And the best part is that all the properties within the gated community have over 5 acres so each house is very private and you basically have the feeling that you are alone in the rainforest without neighbors. The house is nestled within a cove made up of huge and beautiful trees. Really a treat for nature lovers who want to get away and rest and relax and enjoy the cooler temperatures of the mountains. The house is a rustic country house and it has everything you need! All ammenities, dinnerware, towels, pillows, quilts, air conditioners in all bedrooms, hot water, outside bbq, wifi and smart TV! Antonio and Connie, the property owners, were so nice to meet us at the property to show us around and give us personal recommendations as to where to go and what to do. After doing our groceries we never had to leave the house and really enjoyed our time relaxing and exploring the grounds in full contact with nature at Villa Illusion. We had fun! We will be back!!!

Relaxing getaway

Home was perfect for the 4 of us. Home had everything we needed. (We didn’t cook or use the TV) Property is tucked away on edge of El Yunque Pool is refreshing Owners provided information we needed.

Amazing Trip!!

The property was in the midst beautiful setting I've ever seen. The pool was amazing! Falling asleep to the sounds of the rainforest has me wondering how I will sleep back at home. Food. So much around from the kiosks to restaurants. Never had a bad meal close by. The owners are amazing very attentive and even bought beach chairs to use. The view from the house to the pool was amazing and we always looked forward to jumping in the pool after a long day at luquillo or playing golf at Rio Mar. Thank you all for the wonderful stay.

Tranquility in the Rainforest

What a nice, very secure place to relax and listen to the sounds of nature. Amazing pool and plants and flowers and no mosquitos. Not one but two security gates, never saw another car while we were there.
