Malerisk, hyggelig 2 værelses hytte kun få skridt fra bredden af den smukke Birch Lake i Birchwood, Wisconsin i en lille familieejet resort.

Denne opdaterede moderne kabine er udstyret med mikroovn, kaffemaskine, farve-tv med kabel, Weber-grill og picnicbord. Vi leverer sengetøj, papirprodukter, hånd- og opvaskesæbe.

Adgang til Big / Little Birch Lake OG den 2200 acre sø Chetac er kun få skridt fra din hytte. Et sjovt, overkommeligt "UpNorth" sted at slappe af. Grib din fiskestang og fisk vores berømte søer! Begge søer har en overflod af fisk, der inkluderer blågræs, crappies, aborre, nordlige gedde, walleye og bas. Udlejning af hytter giver dig et gratis sted at docke din båd under dit ophold.

Har du ikke en båd? Intet problem, du kan leje en af vores nye fiskepontoner! Vi har også et fuldt udpeget fiskehus til at rense din fangst af dagen.

Hvis golf, vandreture eller ridning er mere din ting, har vi det også i området. Medbring dine håndklæder, og gør dig klar til ren R & R.

Great cabin overlooking the lake with a fish cleaning house and a dock for your boat

The owners were great and helpful making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be coming back!!

Memorial Weekend Getaway

The resort on Birchwood reminded me of the vintage lakeside resort that I remember from my youth. The cabins were immaculate and cozy. We enjoyed our time immensely and look forward to returning again.

Decided to take a trip up north where we could enjoy some swimming and boating.

Owners were supper great- rented a pontoon, very nice one at that, extremely affordable, cute clean 2 bedroom cabin,Everything we needed, nice property, dog friendly will go back again with no doubt.

Helpful and friendly owners, relaxing visit

Rick and Shelley were both very helpful, friendly, and easy to get ahold of. Our stay was so enjoyable and relaxing. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking for peace and quiet in the northwoods.

Great time at Ri-Shel resort

The cabin was exactly as described- basic but clean and well equipped. The owners were friendly and attentive and the lake and area were a great north woods experience. All in all, it was a memorable vacation at a great price.

Very nice northern cabins

Cabin was very nice, clean and cozy. Love the view of the Lake from cabin. Met the property owners very nice couple and enjoy talking to them. Hooe to come back bext year!

A great getaway in the north woods

My adult kids and enjoyed our stay very much. We were right on the lake and enjoyed the water and wildlife (owls, pileated woodpeckers, geese, black squirrels). The cabin is nicely furnished and just comfortable.

Cute cabin for a peaceful get away

Cute cabin with great friendly hosts..Rick and Shelley care about your stay and take pride in this resort. The location is beautiful and the cabin although older has everything you need for a comfortable enjoyable stay. If your looking for a laid back peaceful stay this is it. We will be back.

Cabin 3 Get-away

We stayed 5 nights in mid-September and had a fabulous time. The cabin was VERY clean and the location on the lake was great. We caught SO MANY fish off the docks! Our host(s) were very friendly and helpful, and the lake is beautiful. This was a relaxing and fun get-away. Highly recommend.

Look no further . . .

Charming Cozy Cabins at a very reasonable cost. This is a great place to stay for a relaxing summer getaway. Rick is very helpful and accommodating.

Charming cozy cabin

We had a very nice time at Cabin #3. It is small and cozy cabin just right for the two of us and our dog. The cabin was very clean. The owners were super nice. The fishing for pan fish was good. It was perfect for our early fall getaway.

Restful and relaxing

We really enjoyed our Fall retreat in this clean little cabin on the lake! Everything was so handy and we had all we needed including the Weber grill, campfire ring, kitchen and nice shower. We enjoyed the Fall colors all around and friendly community when we went on walks with our dog. I look forward to staying again!

Mini Vacation

Rick and Shelly are fantastic. They made our stay very enjoyable. the property was perfect for what we wanted to do and so clean. We didn't get out to fish like we wanted but golfed at the nice courses around Birchwood. If we do a Mini trip again, this is the place for us.

Extremely nice place

We had a short but great time at the cabin. The Mangagment was extremely kind with us even after my dog was barking the entire afternoon. Calling us and very considerate to us. I would enjoy staying again at this cabin. Thanks hank you Shelly for everything and understanding.

Fabulous Vacation Spot!

What a great time at Echo Bay! Rick and Shelly are wonderful hosts! The cabin was very clean and comfortable and the location could be have been more gorgeous! The fishing was fantastic and the lake was so clean and clear we could watch the fish come to our hooks! The town boasts a couple of great bars and Cafe's as well! A great place to relax and get away from the rat race! We will definitely return!

A wonderful oasis

Rick and Shelly were amazing. Super nice, from the moment we arrived. The cabin was clean and decorated adorable. The view of the lake was beautiful fish turtles and eagles everywhere. We hated to leave. Cabin 3 will be my new home away from home. Thank you Rick and Shelly for making our stay so amazing.

Relaxing Getaway

We loved the ease of our stay. Our boat rental was gassed up and on the dock when we arrived. Nice owners on site to answer any questions. He even recommended a great local radio station. Will return.

Entering cabin and we were greeting with soft music and a warm fire burning in the gas fireplace! The owners are great! Their concern was for us to have the best stay. And we had such a good time there! Thank you Rick And Shelley!!!!!

By the photos and description I thought it was going to be a quiet, quaint resort with cabins. It was an RV park with more than 25 large RVs. The cabins were directly across from all the RVs. We certainly didn’t feel like we were in the country at a cabin. The owners were nice but would benefit in truth when advertising. Known of the photos nor description on the site stated any of this. If I wanted to stay at an RV park, I would’ve looked for that. We were disappointed. We left a day early

Rick and Shelly both grew up in small towns, just a few hours from Birchwood. They both experienced the magical midwest summer fun of fishing for pan fish, swimming, floating down lazy, winding rivers, catching firefly's in mason jars and roasting marshmallows over a blazing campfire. Camping at a nearby lakeside KOA is a cherished part of Ricks childhood memories. He had always wanted to own a resort so he could provide families the same special opportunity he had as a child. But fate had a different plan... offers and opportunities led him overseas for close to 20 years. He worked in Antarctica, Greenland, Qatar, Iraq, Kuwait, and, Afghanistan. Exploring Ireland, England, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Thailand, Hong Kong, Australia, and New Zealand in his free time. Meanwhile, back in the states Shelly was busy raising 2 fabulous kids, running a business, vacationing every year or two in various places around the world while living on both coasts and even some places in between during the same span of the 30 years Rick was overseas. In 2010 Shelly came "home" to Birchwood to help take care of an ailing parent. She and Rick found each other shortly after she moved back. He was on a 3 month break deciding where in the world he wanted to get lost in next. They ended up enjoying the whole summer of 2010 together! Sadly, in September Rick was off overseas once again. They stayed in touch via Skype and email and over the next 7 years maintained a long distant relationship, meeting up in Birchwood two times a year. during Ricks time off. They even managed to sneak away together to Turkey and the Seychelles on two separate occasions. Finally, Rick found a reason to come home for good. In March of 2018 they got married & bought a resort. And now you know the rest of the story!

Both of them love lake living, meeting new people & look forward to running the resort for many years! They are all about helping others build their own beautiful memories.

When Echo Bay resort in Birchwood came on the market after 47 years of being owned and operated by one family, they knew this was an opportunity of a lifetime and they were not going to let it get away. Rick could finally realize his dream! This is one of very few small fishing resorts left in the area. They didn't want to see it turned into condos like other resorts on these northern lakes. They wanted another generation of children to experience the "Up North" cabin fun of fishing, swimming, tubing and campfires!

We are located on a quiet point with water on both sides of the Resort. Our quaint, cozy, recently remodeled cabins are just steps from the shoreline. Fall asleep with the lake breeze wafting through your cabin while the call of the Loons lull you to sleep.
We offer onsite pontoon rentals for those of you who want to experience the water and all it has to offer. Available for Rent Daily or Weekly.
