Denne lejlighed er kun en kort gåtur væk fra det bløde, sukker-hvide sand på stranden. Det er også inden for gåafstand af lokale grill. Fort Morgan historiske borgerkrig befæstninger er en hurtig ni mil kørsel væk, samt Mobile Bay Ferry til shopping og spisning af Dauphin Island. Gulf Shores er en 15-mile kørsel mod øst og fyldt med butikker, restauranter og barer.

It was an okay place!

Everything was good for the most part. My biggest complaint is the window in the bedroom was facing the hallway and the light was horrible. It shines in all night. Also, it could have been cleaned better the floors were gritty, the coffee pot had to be washed before we could use it and the silverware tray had food crumbs or dirt in it (which we always wash all our dishes before we use them anyway). The pictures of the place didn't completely match what we got either. All that being said we had a great time and those were very minor issues except the window that was awful.

Moms getaway

This was perfect for myself and my friend for a get away. I will say it could have been cleaned better. The blanket in the bed had some stains that almost looked like mold. In the bedroom there was a huge cobweb in the top corner in the room. Tub could have been unclogged also. It did smell cleaned and it was perfect for our weekend stay.

Under the bathroom cabinet was a blow dryer in a box with a spoon in it that looked suspect…check everything before you rent to someone cus my kids could’ve got ahold of that!! Thanks

Not as nice as it looked

The view was great. Not alot of space for food storage. The unit smelled musty the bedding not right size. The curtain in bdrm not right so really bright at night. Had to kill cockroach.not real comfortable

weekend getaway

The property was adequate externally, then entire building etc. The indoor pool and hot tub indoors was under construction and therefore we were not able to use. The "Sassy bass 2" located in another building was nice and the food was good. The bar area has a huge piece of plastic covering the view. That was pretty unpleasant. As far as the condo itself goes, it was extremely neglected. The rug and couch were dirty. The little of counter space was occupied by items, not needed such as a telephone with the cord wrapped around it. Neither lamp in living room would come on. There was very little effort made by this owner to make the condo comfortable or pleasant. It was simply adequate accomodations. We will be returning to this condo.

One word… roaches..

The condo looked as though it wasn’t even cleaned upon arrival. They left dishwasher pods…. There is no dishwasher.. we had to go buy a broom because there wasn’t one in the unit (now there is.. your welcome next guest lol) and the amount of sand left in the unit was crazy. We put in our reservation that we had a baby so we thought maybe they would have cleaned the floors a little more thoroughly, as our son has to literally crawl on that floor. The first night we saw two giant roaches and killed them and sent a picture to the management company. We asked if anything could be done because our baby has to crawl around on this floor, we paid way too much money to be worrying about ROACHES. And they told us they would put in a service request and have someone out immediately.. Well we kept messaging them about an update and went our entire 6 day stay with nothing done.. and continued to see/kill very large roaches our entire stay. So incredibly disappointed with this condo. Wish we didn’t waste our money…Would not recommend to anyone.

During out stay we were harassed by security while at the pool. On the posed signs of the rules at the pool it clearly said 11pm closing. At 9:50 every night that we were there, we were told very rudely to leave due to closing time. Our room was nice but very disappointed in the security and their attitudes toward the guests.

The place was not clean

When we got there there was trash in the floor mold on the refrigerator and the walls were covered in cobwebs and dust we’re supposed to get a call back to correct problem and no one ever contacted us

Good location.. terrible management would not answer me .. my kids were eat up with bed bugs or mosquitoes inside the room first day of arrival.. we left early couldn't stay because of that

Over priced and issue after issue

Upon arrival found tin foil covering window, broken bed, broken patio door lock and broken ice maker. After 4 calls and 10 hours later to management someone showed to fix bed (1st night slept on the couch) and asked him to fix lock on patio door which wouldn’t unlock afterwards. Asked about ice machine and was told oh well. Later in the trip found giant water bugs in bathroom and kitchen and couldn’t enjoy the sitting or the view on the patio. Unit needs updating, room darkening shades and a dust pan to help with the sand. Love staying at the Plantation and will come back to the complex just not this unit.

Weekend getaway

Our stay was awesome. The room was clean and ready for us upon arrival. Just a couple of items to mention. There were plenty of towels- thank you, but not a single washcloth? Also we couldn't find the stopper for either the sink or the tub. I know those lite things can get away before you know it. Also, someone needs to check underthe sink. When we went to get a frying pan there was water under there. It appears to be xo.ing from the garbage disposal. We put a mixing bowl under it and moved some of the pans around. Overall we had a great weekend and I know those couple of little things are things you don't know unless someone mentions them. Thanks again for a great weekend on the most beautiful beach!

Beach fun!

We had so much fun we have three kids and we loved that their was security and they were always in sight by the pool or riding around Incase of a problem! Everyone was friendly and the only thing negative I could say was that we slept horribly because of the beds. It could use some updating in the room like new beds, maybe newer TVs other than that it was great! But bed sinks in the middle and all my kids were under me basically and tried to sleep and pull out couch the next night and the springs were so uncomfortable!

Nice little condo

This is a great condo. Clean upon arrival, fully stocked kitchen and bathroom had plenty of towels. Great view of the pool and beach. The bed was super comfortable. The washer/dryers are right across the hall. Everything was perfect, nice property with a great restaurant on site. Security made regular rounds, and beach was not too crowded. The only issue I had was we arrived around 2:30 pm. After a 9 hour drive we were exhausted. Check in was at 4. I asked to have an early check in at 3, but was not allowed to. Other than that... This trip was perfect!!! This condo is worth booking.

Room for improvement

We enjoyed our stay but there’s always room for improvement! Coffee filters or a pot that doesn’t use them and the bed could be more comfortable.

Lovely visit

A beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the beach, with an amazing view from our condo. It was very quiet and we had all the enjoyment of the facilities without the crowds. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The only complaint I have is that the bed was awful, it was so uncomfortable. The mattress seemed to sink in the middle and so we woke up most mornings with backaches. We did notice a huge damp spot where the ceiling was peeling away in the corner of the living room. It did not cause any issues for us, but it may need to be fixed before it causes anymore damage. Also the ice maker in the fridge was broken. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend the plantation as a place to stay.

Overall good stay

The room itself had some minor things like no light other than a lamp in the bedroom & the mattress on the sofa bed was pretty worn out but overall our stay was great. The location was perfect! Wish we would have know building 4 that has the indoor pool, sauna & hot tub was under construction. Room was clean.

Disgusting!

The condo was disgusting. The mattress of the master bedroom and the sofa sleeper were deplorable. There was a blood/chocolate stain on the curtains that was gross. There was food splatter on the side of the refrigerator. They actually had car air fresheners in the vents! I would not stay here again.

Close to the beach, but that is it

The condo has potential, but definitely needs some serious TLC. It is very close to the beach and pool, but that is it. A lot of the furniture needs to be replaced, including the sofa, mattresses and the air conditioning unit. It is very loud in the bedroom. They also had aluminum foil on the window which blocked the outside light, but looked weird. I had several issues and contacted the condo manager via text. They were very quick to respond back, but unfortunately they were not local and the local team never contacted me back.

Within standards.

It was a pleasant stay. Had all the kitchen supplies needed and clean at arrival. I just wish the mattresses were less soft, the TV didn't power off on its own, the entrance door key had enough battery life(it alerted daily during last 2 days). The pool had too many mosquitos ( Repelent control could be beneficial). Other than that it has been a wonderful experience.

This unit needs serious updating!

The bed is old and slants towards the middle. The shower has a hole in the ceiling. The shower curtain was moldy. The couch was stained. The rug in the the living room was dirty and stained. It just needs to be thrown out. The refrigerator has orange rust on the side of it. The owners really need to address these issues. I would not stay at this unit again in its current condition. HARD PASS.
