Det historiske Windsor House er en hurtig tur til havet, kun 2 gader fra Front Street. Huset har et køkken med mikroovn, komfur / ovn, brødrister ovn, køleskab, gryder / pander, tallerkener / redskaber, bord m / 4 stole og meget mere. Stuen har en futon, stol, 32 "streaming HDTV (Amazon Prime, Netflix, osv.), WiFi og trægulve. Spisebordet sidder 4 og har en Echo Dot til din brug. Vaskerummet tilbyder en vaskemaskine og tørretumbler til din bekvemmelighed. Den forreste veranda swing og gyngestole er perfekte til at nyde breezy aftener.

Our host was wonderful! Great communication and helpful. The cottage is welcoming and offers lovely amenities. It is a short walk to shops, restaurants and the waterfront. We will definitely visit this enchanting cottage again!

This was our second stay at the Historic Corner Cottage. The house is just right for us and the location is perfect. Jess is super and responds quickly. The house is very clean and well equipped for welcoming guests. We spent our mornings and evenings enjoying the peaceful front porch. The house is in downtown Beaufort with plenty of neighbors walking by and chatting. We look forward to staying here again!

Very warm and comfortable, dog friendly, well stocked kitchen. We ate out alot because of walking distance to so many awesome restaurants. A little noisy on weekday fri from construction, but at night and weekend was great. We could see and walk to farmer's/crafts market on Saturday morning with great food too. Bought a few fall crafts. We love the old Beaufort cottages. Jessica was a great host and fast answering questions, we would stay again, thanks.

The pictures of this house in VRBO are very misleading. Nothing about this house is inviting. From the outside the entire property is overgrown, dirty and full of moss. The front door cannot be left open because the screens are broken. All the windows are so dirty you can barely see outside. Inside it is dingy and full of clutter. When I tried to upload the videos I took of the house they were apparently too large for the software to handle. The OWNER of this property needs to do a walk through to appreciate its condition. Reading the recent reviews of this property makes me question the entire VRBO review process. On the plus side the WIFI was excellent and I had no issues with using the TV’s to stream my services.

This was our third stay at the Windsor House and we love it every time. The location is perfect on a quiet street but close to everything. The house has become a key part of our summer holiday and it feels like returning home every time we arrive. It is very functional and the kitchen is stocked with essentials. We will always come back any time we visit Beaufort. Thanks for sharing this beautiful home with us!

We loved our stay at this cottage! The front porch with rockers was our favorite feature as was the charm of this historic place. It included everything we might need for the kitchen, and plenty of towels. The host was super responsive and helpful. It was a quick walk to the fun downtown/waterfront area. We highly recommend!

My brother and I had A wonderful stay the location was great just one block from downtown waterfront. We entertain some of our family members Who stayed at the hotel for the reunion, they were impressed with the little house. Jess made herself available throughout our stay and was very Kind and helpful. I would rent this cottage again for our next family reunion.

Lovely cottage for a week at the beach. The space was well laid out with cute beach themed decor. The dining room was great for lunches and board games between our adventures. The location was fantastic. We walked to the ferry for the beach and downtown for dinner every day. Jess was super responsive and checked in regularly to make sure we needed anything.

Sweet home furnished with all of the necessities. Nice neighborhood. Enjoyed morning walks in neighborhood and along waterfront. Also enjoyed Saturday’s farmer’s market. This was our second stay and we hope to return next year. Enjoyed eating at NoName Pizza and Blackbeard’s Grill.

Wonderful stay

We loved this little home. It had everything we needed and the location was amazing. A few blocks away from the main “drag” with great restaurants and beautiful views of the water. We enjoyed the slower pace that Beaufort offered and the history was fantastic!

Fantastic location and very cute older home

The location is perfect and convenient to everything. Just a short little walk to all the places you want to go. We really enjoyed staying here. The home has all the amenities that you need and well stocked. It is an historic home so it is a little dated however, that is what we were looking for. Definitely would stay again! Owner is very attentive and stays in contact to make sure you are in need of nothing. Thank you!

Lovely cottage near the waterfront

We had a lovely stay at the Historic Corner Cottage. Jess has done an amazing job decorating this sweet place. And the front porch was a lovely respite for coffee in the morning. It is so convenient to everything on the waterfront - we walked everywhere! The neighborhood was quiet and everyone walking by when we were on the porch was so friendly. Always grateful for a pet friendly option, too. Highly recommend.

Perfect family vacation spot

Great base for exploring Beaufort

Home was great for our short trip to Beaufort - plenty of room for our family and dogs and easy walk to pretty much everything in town! We had a wonderful stay.

A sweet cottage in a charming historic waterfront town

This lovely cottage was perfect for our stay. Although a smaller home, there was plenty of room for the 4 of us to comfortably enjoy our time there. The owner is fantastic & very responsive. The house has had updates that make it even more inviting, comfortable and aesthetically interesting. The location was very nice-2 blocks from the waterfront & shops. It is also not far from a gorgeously moody historical walled cemetery that is shaded by singing cicada filled live oaks that were just dripping with lacy fern fronds. The porch sitting was on point in the provided rocking chairs and porch swing. I wish we could have stayed longer in this little gem of a house! We plan to return again next season.

The house is very comfortable, well appointed, and an easy walk to food and the waterfront. The beds were especially comfortable and the decorations are charming. Perfect fit for our family of four for an extended weekend. Would book again for future visits

Great Home

We were in the area visiting our son who is with the USCG at Fort Macon. I did not want to stay in Atlantic Beach or Moorehead City and fell in love with Beaufort during a visit in February. The location is perfect. It's two blocks to the water front and it's easy to get on the road to Morehead City. The area is a relaxed slow paced place surrounded by historical homes. The beds were perfect and the linens were top notch. I'm a bed snob. I highly recommend the home if a relaxed environment is what you are looking for.

Beaufort has become our favorite place on the planet. We love the salt air, beautiful streets, friendly people, food... the list goes on and on. The Windsor House is what locals described as "cute as a button". It offers everything you need for a comfortable stay and the location is absolutely perfect. We can walk to the waterfront, shops and restaurants. Anything and everything is just a short trip... Atlantic Beach, Morehead City and all the Crystal Coast has to offer. All the neighbors, locals and visitors, greet you with a smile. The cottage was built in 1886, with hardwood floors and that old world charm, but modern conveniences have been added to make life at the Windsor House just about perfect.

The front porch has a swing and rocking chairs, perfect for evenings of unwinding while sipping a drink and taking in the beauty and breezes. You can walk to the waterfront in 5 minutes. The 140 year old house was built by a Fishing Captain in the historic district of Beaufort.
