Eau Naturale -

Eau Naturale has four large bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, two covered porches, and one private balcony. Located on the west side of Carillon, the beach is less crowded and more secluded. Large windows and French doors bring natural light into the home. Enjoy beautiful views of the gulf from the comfort of your living and dining spaces. Stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and a fully stocked Kitchen are sure to please the family chef of the group.

Carillon Beach is a unique gated community that vacationers return to year after year for its incredible amenities. The neighborhood is lined with brick walkways shaded by inviting landscaping. Guests at Carillon have access to a chapel, tennis courts, basketball courts, multiple swimming pools (one of which over looks the beach), a lake park, and kids play areas. Right next door are shopping and dining amenities, a CVS and a full size Publix grocery store right across the street. The attractions at Rosemary Beach, Seacrest and Alys Beach are just down the road as well as Highway 30A is less than 3 miles away.

Cute, cozy beach house. Views were perfect and accessibility to the beach couldn’t be easier. The daily set up of loungers, chairs and umbrellas was a definite plus!

Fantastic property

The overall location was fantastic and was right on the beach. There were a few minor issues encountered, but these did not override the overall fantastic stay.

Perfect Location

Property was perfectly located in a quaint neighborhood and right on the water. Property was exactly as described. Will definately book this property again.

Perfect location

Loved this stay. We loved being right on the beach. We have stayed in Carillon for many years. First time right on the beach. Loved it! House very comfortable and as listed. Would definitely stay here again. Ocean Reef communication was great!

Great vacation

The only downside was the guards at the gate were not the friendliest. Other than that we would go back to this house for sure.

Beautiful beach, terrible lock system.

The location and beach were wonderful. The house does needs maintenance especially the locks. We had trouble locking some of the doors. Overall, we had a good time since it's right next to the beach and the community was peaceful. A few fixes and this house would be top.

Long weekend

We always enjoy our time at Carillon. Eau Naturale is a cozy beach cottage with beautiful views of the gulf. The house could use some updating, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. Since it is beachfront, we would have appreciated better outdoor furniture options. The rocking bench would’ve been nice, but it’s broken. Beds are comfortable and there was adequate space for everyone. Ocean Reef made the process very easy. We would stay here again!

Location was everything

Overall stay was amazing. House had plenty of space for us as a family of 5, steps to the ocean, and lovely walks to the shops, pool, etc. The only drawbacks were the overall condition of the property. It was clear there had been significant water damage with the severe buckling of the wood floors by the doors. The upstairs en suite bath leaked consistently. The kitchen sink was clogged on arrival and disposal was not working. The fridge water and ice dispenser needs a new filter and did not make ice. The beds and linens were very comfortable, the kitchen was equipped enough for us to function. Everyone was friendly and there was always plenty of room at the beach, pool, restaurants, etc. We appreciated the quaint and quiet environment!

Great family vacation!

We loved our stay. The location was great and the view was UNREAL. We only had cable in the downstairs den, all the other TVS had about three local stations, but luckily the weather was nice and we rarely needed the TVS. I loved the neighborhood for running and riding bikes. Very quaint. Wish the master had a king bed but the view from the porch off the master was awesome. The decor was nice and the house was very comfortable to “live” in. The pool is a walk down the beach but there was a slight breeze and the ocean water was fine to cool off in. A great place to stay with a party of 8. We would definitely return!

Beautiful property

House was clean and beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything you need and more for meal preparation. It would be helpful to renters to have a floorplan in the photos. The half bath on the first floor on a separate hall was a nice touch, and the first floor bedroom on was a quiet retreat because there was no traffic back and forth in front of it. We did have a plumbing problem in the upstairs shared bath when we arrived, however, the rental company notified us prior to our arrival on Saturday, and a plumber was out the first thing on Monday. Since it just affected the tub in that bath it was no problem for us. We always enjoy our time at Carillon.

Mostly great, but…

This was a great house in a great location. However it could really use some updating. The dining room rug is badly stained as are the dining room chairs. Such an easy fix, but apparently have been that way awhile. Also we had to ask for bath mats. The window shades in the master are in bad shape. One set is a paper shade attached with tape. Again, easy fixes, so they should do this. We loved Carrilon but may look for a more updated house for the price.

Great location…but

You can’t beat the location of Eau Naturale. However the house is in need of some love. Foundation on beach side back door is sinking, so couldn’t use 1 of the back doors. Wood floors desperately need redone on main floor. The stairs down to beach are well past needing painted, chipped paint all over steps. These things didnt impact our stay. The chairs and barstools in kitchen were very uncomfortable. We like to play games so we sat there a lot. No broom in kitchen or vacuum in the house for all the sand being tracked in…took 3 days for them to bring us a broom. Kitchen is well stocked other than no storage containers (bowls with lids). Beds were comfortable. Outside furniture was also very comfortable. We love Carillon and I hate to see such a lovely house not being taken care of. You can definitely tell this house is a rental.

Eau Naturale rental home

We give it 5 stars for the view& cleanliness. Ocean front view was spectacular! The check in process at the gate was 1 star ,because we had to fill out an 8 x 11 sheet of paper with all these questions about the house how long we’re staying who the rental company is etc. etc. etc. and we had to pull around The guard shack fill it out, pull out and back in and hand it to the guard. After a plane ride and driving to the house this was very Annoying! Please OceanReef Resort, inform the guard shack of your renters with a list of some sort so we the renters do not have to fill this all out upon arrival. This would make things much more pleasant. To just give your name the house name they could check it off on a clipboard with a piece of paper. Please consider this. The house is very beautiful with breathtaking views everywhere you look. But the kitchen doesn’t have that much in it not too many cups or dishes or glasses most of the rental houses that we have at least have Leftover coffee filters to use salt or pepper in the cupboard this place didn’t have any of that so we left the stack of coffee filters for the next personWho rents the house.

No cable or internet

The owner was unwilling to work with us after we let the rental company know that the internet is basically dial up speed. The owner changed service in Feb to a service that isn't even fast enough to send emails on your phone. The TV's don't work because the internet isn't fast enough to stream anything. Any time I needed to send emails for work, I had to drive to a restaurant that was 10 minutes away. The house needs some TLC and a good cleaning. Door to the beachfront patio was broken with a sign on it "do not use". Toilet downstairs quit working on day 2. The leasing company did come fix it at the end of the day. No propane and the grill looks like it hasn't been cleaned within the last year. The next door neighbor on the east side has been building a house for the last 2.5 years. Very loud noises throughout the day as they were pouring concrete and working outside. It doesn't look like they will be finished any time soon. For a rental that is 9K for the week, I expected to have internet and be able to watch movies with the kids at night. The location is good. The beach views from the deck are amazing. We will definitely come back to the area, but not this house.

Needs Work!

Wish I had read VRBO reviews before renting Eau Naturale. Great location but poorly maintained. Living room furniture is heavily stained and kitchen not well stocked considering price point of rental. Has anyone checked the staircase to the beach??!! It’s in terrible condition - as well as loose railings on front porch. We were notified 2 days before arrival date @ construction next door- nothing like sitting on your porch with cement sanding sounds and clouds of dust coming from next door. Someone from VRBO or Ocean Reef needs to do a walk through.

Beautiful location

Let’s do the positive first: great location and beautiful views. We’ve rented oceanfront beach houses for 28 years and feel confident in saying this home needs improvements to rent at the price point they rented it. The linens (including towels) were low quality and not what you should have in a high quality rental. The TVs were all extremely small and outdated and the ones that worked only received three channels. We had to go buy Rokus to hook up just to watch tv. The kitchen needed more dishes and basic items like cookie sheets. The rental company was awesome and responsive but the house in general needs maintenance and upgrading. The roofs of the balcony and porch needed to be properly sealed since currently everything under them just gets soaking wet so you couldn’t even sit outside when it was raining like we normally would do at the beach. The couch and chair in the main room are heavily soiled and need to be replaced or professionally cleaned. With updates and tlc, this could be a great rental. Little touches like quality pillows would go a long way.

Great View

Can’t beat the view, but this property has some significant issues with deferred maintenance. In addition it could use a good cleaning. The pictures on line must have been taken several years ago, as they are not representative of the current state. Again, great location, but the owners need to invest some capital on repairs, refresh and a cleaning crew.

Great spot

On the beach in Carillon is fantastic. House was perfect. We had one maintenance issue with air conditioning and it was handled within an hour. Definitely return.

Bad check in experience

The property was great, except for two things. The biggest thing was that 4/5 entrances into the house did not lock. The only door that did lock, could not be unlocked or opened at all and it had a sign that said "please do not use this door." The second issue was the check in process. I saw reviews that others had issues checking in and I called ahead and specifically asked about this, and she said yes the guard had been notified. When we got there the guard had no idea we were coming and we had to fill out some paperwork and circle back around. The property manager also failed to notify the beach chair guys and he mentioned that this has happened several times before. Pretty easy to get automatic emails sent to the guard and beach service when someone books. Other than that, great location, great house.

Terrible Gate Guard

The governor issued a order to close the beaches on my drive to Florida. Upon arrival at the Gate of the residence, the gate guard would not allow me to enter the property due to this because I was not the owner of the property. This was very disappointing as I'd already paid and traveled all the way there, but the company I booked with found me a better replacement in no time! Offered me a little refund and had great service. I will be using them again, but I'll never book Sunnyside.

Eau Naturalle was oh so beautiful!

Although the weather there was less than we hoped for and most of us caught head colds, the house and its location were absolutely stunning. we awoke every morning to the sounds and spectacle of the gorgeous ocean. that was truly therapy for what ails us. There were a couple of minor issues we had when we arrived: We wished we were given a map of the gated neighborhood (Ocean Reef) when we arrived, and we wished the house came with coffee filters.
