O. P. Taylor's "Big Game" hus.

Dejligt ældre hjem 4 gader fra byen fuldstændig renoveret i 2018. Tre soveværelser, master med privat bad og glasskydedøre til et stort dæk og boblebad til 8 personer. Soveværelse nr. 2 har en 3/4 fuld størrelse seng og en tvilling, soveværelse # 3 har et par enkeltsenge. Alt strøelse er nye Jameson Marriott femstjernede madrasser. Begge soveværelser deler et smukt fliser bad. Hallen har en foldesofa i fuld størrelse til overløb, eller børn, der vil holde sig ope og se en film på Netflix eller fra vores videobibliotek. Huset ligger tæt på Music Center og kun 4 korte blokke fra centrum af byen, så du kan gå til fantastiske restauranter, butikker og bryggerier.

The owner was helpful and communicative ahead of and during our stay. The hot tub was clean and ready to go when we arrived, and the kids loved playing all the games available at the house. We walked to breakfast and dinner in Brevard, and the walk was short enough that our kids (ages 5-9) didn't complain! The beds were comfortable. We had a great time and would definitely consider staying again.

We are from the area and we’re coming home to visit family and friends for Christmas and needed a place that our dog could stretch his legs and run around. The house was perfect and I am glad we found it for future trips! The foosball table was a hit too!!! Also, I HAVE NEVER STAYED IN A HOUSE THIS FULLY STOCKED! I feel like we moved into someone’s private home that wasn’t a rental property. Stay here if you’re searching.

John was so wonderful he sent us a nice message with instructions and the house was fantastic !!! It was so close to downtown we walked and the backyard is fenced in and that was great for our dog .You will not want for any game to play in this house our favorite was the foose ball table loved our stay

The place was very organized and our host was very accommodating. Great selection of games to play for down time. It is an easy walk to downtown Brevard from here as well. Would recommend to anyone!

We had a wonderful time at this lovely home! Very clean, an abundance of amenities provided (very well stocked kitchen, toiletries, plenty of towels for bath and hot tub.) Beds are super comfy. Lovely guest bath. Huge master bedroom with access to back deck area, hot tub, etc. Our dogs loved the big backyard to run around and watch the squirrels. Game room and living room were perfect for our family to gather and spend time together.

This was a nice place in a quiet neighborhood. It was very close to downtown Brevard, where you can easily walk and not have to worry about parking.It is an older-style home with a lot of separate rooms, which is fine. It has plenty of sleeping space for six people - maybe a couple more if the listing allows.The hot tub is in a good location on the deck where you can just walk into the tub. Be careful on the step down but it is safe with a little balance. It is perfect for the cool nights in the mountains. The night sky is great while sitting in the tub.The downtown sounds at night are somewhat peaceful. They aren't too loud where it is disturbing, but far enough away where it is good background sound. We never got to meet the owners, but they own the popular toy store on the corner of downtown. They are super friendly and accommodating. They had arrival gifts for us which was a pleasant surprise. They made our weekend in Brevard very nice and we would definitely stay at this place again.

We loved staying at this house! The location is walking distance to downtown, the large fenced in yard was great for our two dogs, the rooms were cozy and very comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with everything we could ever need, the bed we slept in was comfortable with nice linens, the game room had so many fun games to fill our down time, the hot tub on the deck locked very inviting, the complementary bottle of wine and six pack of beer were a very nice touch to our awesome stay! There was so much to do just in the house alone, one wouldn’t have to leave at all. We will be back!!!

The house is fabulous. One of the main reasons I booked this place was because the owners have an impeccable reputation. I knew it would be a great place to stay, and it didn’t disappoint.The home was completely equipped with everything you need. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Hot tub was wonderful. Backyard fully fenced for our sweet little furbaby. Nice neighborhood, great walking, and close to everything. Can’t imagine finding a better place to stay. We will definitely be back to this gem of a vacation rental.

Far and away exceeded our expectations! House was pristine upon arrival, with some welcoming beers in the fridge and a bottle of wine on the counter for us. Everything has been thought through carefully — plenty of towels out, info on area attractions and restaurants, labels for switches, an amazing assortment of games and puzzles (not surprising once we realized owner also is the owner of the wonderful O.P. Taylor toy store in Brevard, always a must stop). The whole house is comfortable, and you immediately feel at home. Hot tub was especially nice! John responded quickly to messages. We will definitely be back to stay at The Big Game house!

We all loved this house! The back deck was a great size and shaded by trees in the afternoon. The location in regards to Brevard was fantastic - everything was so accessible. The neighborhood was quiet - met the backyard neighbor through our dogs checking each other out! (Loved the fenced yard!)As the owner mentioned, the kitchen was super well stocked and organized. Everything was as advertised plus!

OP Taylor’s place was a perfect getaway for our family of 4! We loved the proximity to the cute downtown Brevard area with restaurants and shops. The house was stocked with lots of fun games and activities. My kids had so much entertainment I had trouble prying them away. This was the best stocked Vrbo I’ve ever been at. If you want to cook, you will have everything that you need.:). This area is perfectly situated close by many waterfalls and outdoor activities. We had the opportunity to meet the owner who is very friendly and welcoming. My only reservation about sharing our review is that we want to come back. 🤣. Thank OP for an awesome vacation.

Excellent Brevard stay

Wonderful location with easy walking distance to Main Street stores, about 20-30 minutes to several waterfalls. House and beds very comfortable, kitchen very well equipped, hot tub relaxing and clean, and game room amazing. Much thanks to the owners for such a nice stay!,

White Squirrel Week

This is a very nice house to stay in Brevard. John is great at communicating with his guests and making his house very welcoming. Wonderful game room with lots to do. House is clean and beds very comfy. Best sleep I’ve gotten so far on my trip. Plus the house is walking distance to the downtown where there is lots to do. Will definitely be returning when we visit Brevard. Thank you. Plus the house has a white squirrel who comes by as seen in the photo.

Convenient and comfortable

John's place is a true gem! The house has absolutely everything we needed to have a relaxing, fun-filled weekend of mountain biking. All the staples we needed for cooking, laundry, and bathroom essentials were provided, letting us focus on having a blast. The house is a short drive from several different biking areas, and being able to bring our dogs was a huge plus. Being able to soak our sore muscles in the hot tub at the end of the day was a dream come true. We will be back for sure!

Perfect location and great yard

This house is perfectly located, a few blocks from downtown Brevard and the many great restaurants and stores there, and also close to the lumberyard district, which is home to Morning Social, ( a great brunch.place), a good pizza place, a wonderful microbrewery and music club, and a fantastic ice cream trailer. The backyard of the house is beautiful and well fenced, perfect for a dog to run around and chase the ball. The owner was very responsive when we had occasional questions, and has fully equipped the house for cooking and fun activities.

Celebration Weekend

So convenient for our activities at Brevard College. Easy walk to anything downtown and one of the best parts is sitting outside listening to music from King Street.

My my my! Wow...just wow. We've rented dozens of vrbo's over the years and I have to say your rental "first impression" knocks it out of the park! The welcoming lights on, the little notes here and there, the wine and beer...such nice, top-notch touches. Thank you so much for all you've done to make us feel so very comfortable and welcome 😊

The house is within walking distance of downtown Brevard and the world famous Brevard Music Center. It is also a short bike ride to the Bracken Mountain Trail, a challenging ride for any level of mountain biker.
Although the house is located close to the action, it is nestled in a very quiet residential neighborhood.
Brevard has so much to offer any visitor, from 200 waterfalls, thousands of miles of hiking and biking trails, the Brevard Music Center, square dancing in the street, lots of excellent restaurants and breweries, you will be so busy you will wonder why we bothered to put TV's in the house!

The plan on this house is to give it to our daughter when she gets married. That doesn't look like it is going to happen anytime soon, so we are listing on VRBO.The care and love that went into restoring and modernizing this house will be obvious to anyone that sees it, we want our daughter to have a home that will last a lifetime!
