This is a true fishing cabin. This cabin is not fancy but was perfect for our needs. The owner was very helpful with our needs. We are going to stay here again.

Rugged cabin

The place is very simple, rugged living. Love the old vibe. Needs some cleaning and yard work done. The yard became very muddy after a storm and we lost power for about 6 hours. We didn’t catch any fish on the dock but the view from the porch and dock was very nice.

Beautiful, Restful and Relaxing Vacation

Amy's Mink Cabin is one of the most restful places we have ever been. My husband and I basically lived on the porch overlooking Lake Greenwood for three days. We read books, watched the sun make diamond patterns of light on the water, listened to the geese and other birds, saw the sunrise and sunset, and were greeted daily by a cute little lizard that roamed the edges of the porch. The cabin itself was simple and perfect for our low key vacation. Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen (although we mostly snacked), and relaxing places to sit and chat. Ramy is a perfect host and answered all our questions quickly and with a welcoming spirit. This place will revive your body and soul. Enjoy!

Short stat but a great unit.

The unit looked absolutely amazing. Ramy is an amazing host who communicated with us throughout the process. Unfortunately due to the weather and circumstances in the area, this trip was cancelled after the first night. The neighbors we met were very friendly and helpful. We hope to try and visit again when the situation allows. Would recommend the unit to couples and small families.

Awesome week at the lake!

Amy’s Mink is SO adorable!!!!! Our stay was extra special as we celebrated our youngest daughter’s 21st birthday!! Just what everyone needs for a week or weekend away!! We will certainly be visiting Amy’s Mink again!!

Great Stay

We stayed for three nights in the off season. The lake was low and we were able to walk out around the pier to go fishing. We had no problems catching and cleaning fish. We also cooked all meals in the well-equipped kitchen. There is a mini-split AC/heat-pump that keeps the place plenty warm. The neighborhood was very quiet. Also, the toilet bowl is large and comfortable. I will book again.

Amy's Mink was in a great location on Lake Greenwood and we enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described and the owner was very responsive.

Amy's Mink Cabin is such a rustic peaceful place!

We stayed at the cabin for 3 nights, and there was so much that I loved about it. It was me, my husband, and our 3-year-old German shepherd. The location was perfect--just steps from the water and the property has its own small boat ramp and dock which was great since we brought our boat. It's very rustic and peaceful. We spent so much time out on the porch facing the water. Every single meal--breakfast through dinner--we ate on the porch. There are rockers which were perfect for the one day when it rained most of the time. We still got to be outside and enjoy the scenery because of the shelter of the porch. Before our trip was over, I had already messaged Ramy to see if we could stay longer. Since it was Labor Day weekend we couldn't, but we already booked a week for next April to go back. It's not fancy, but it was just what we were looking for. Pet-friendly, lakefront, peaceful, full kitchen, and reasonably priced.

quiet, peaceful, serenity...We found that the rustic cabin allowed us to really enjoy the lake....next time we will bring a boat.
