Beautiful view

We loved the view. On different days we saw dolphins and one day we actually saw manatees! Diane and Scott were great to work with when we had questions. Our family enjoyed their stay, as did we!!

Christmas time

We had a wonderful stay to visit family in the area for Christmas. Great neighborhood. Beautiful sunsets. Saw dolphins from the home. Had a great boat day with Todd, leaving right from the dock. We had a house issue but was quickly fixed within the hour on the holiday weekend. Thank you!

Great comunication

It was great to work with this host as she was fast to address any request. We had problems with a few items and they were understanding and wanted the best for us. The hot tub (not as pictured in the photos) never really did work but they tried. We were excited to find a Keurig there too!

Great location on the Gulf of Mexico.

Nice three bedroom house located on a peninsula. Very quiet with a dock, lap pool, on the water. We enjoyed watching the birds of Florida from the patio. Very relaxing and we enjoyed our time renting this property.

Beautiful views and wonderful communication

We barely spent anytime inside as the outside is gorgeous and you don’t want to leave. Dolphins, sharks, manatees are just some of the fabulous nature that we saw. A few small issues, but Dianne and her husband are fantastic and very quick with communication. We did a charter with their son Todd on his boat and he was informative and we had a blast! Definitely will be returning and recommending to others.

Perfect Family Getaway

Thank you Diane for sharing your place with us. We were in the pool everyday and really enjoyed the view of the Gulf. The location was great and allowed us to visit so many attractions easily. We didn’t want to leave and hope to visit again!!

Tranquil Property w/ Exceptional Views

I have 3 more trips planned for this property. It’s by far our family favorite. I grew up on the beach but had to move away for work and this home literally takes my breath away. The neighborhood is very quiet and secluded. The home is spacious and comfortable. There are 3 large bedrooms, 2 family rooms and an open floor plan. There are such stunning views from the backyard you almost don’t even need to make a trip to the beach. You can hear the ocean waves lapping as you swim and lounge in the enormous pool. There are dolphins that come by each day. Being able to swim and view endless water is just so peaceful. You absolutely have to see the sunset each night. There is no other view quite like it. Thank you for sharing your home and making our stay so wonderful Diane!

A lovely little hideaway!

Could not ask for a better experience! This little bungalow has it all. Pool, views, and dock! We fished, swam, cooked dinner and explored the local area. Beaches are close as well as a natural preserve for hiking. Dianne is lovely to work with and Capt Todd had great recommendations for seafood restaurants. We would most definitely stay here again!

Gulf coast views to die for.

This was a great place to get the most relaxation for your time. Great mornings and afternoons in the pool. Then watch the best sunsets ever. The house is all the way at the end of the neighborhood. It is very quiet and the neighbors we met were very nice. Even the 17 year old didn't want to go anywhere. He was fine just watching the gulf waters. We left only for groceries and one breakfast. Awesome place to get some R&R.

Wonderful morning views of the gulf

We had a fantastic stay - each morning we woke up to fantastic views of the gulf with sea birds and dolphins entertaining us as we ate breakfast. This is the perfect spot if you want to be really on the water and get away from it all. We also went out for an afternoon with Capt Todd who keeps his boat at the property. A wonderful time.

Holiday Experience

Overall stay was good. Location is amazing Dock was not safe to use (fish off of). Son stopped by a couple of times to get his boat and electrician was there while we were there to work on electrical to boat Would recommend bringing trash bags, dish soap and stuff to wipe counter tops off. None at house But overall it was a great place with beautiful sunsets every night.

Great spot on the water

The area and view is lovely. The pool is heated and there is a small hot tub. What's not to like? Well, a few things inside that we addressed with the owner, but Scott was quick and helpful with the issues. Minor things like lighting could use attention, but I would recommend it as a fine place for a holiday.

I would disregard the negative reviews. One listed they were unhappy with the location. Maybe you should do more research on location vs attacking a vrbo provider. Chalk that up to some people will never be happy. Location was great. Quiet and as listed. Any issues or concerns we encountered were addressed by the owner asap and the owner followed up.

Rats,sewer backup,broken dock,stained,old and dirty furniture

If you like rats under sink and in attic, old stained and dirty furniture, broken and chained off dock in a seedy town surrounded by swamp. This is the place for you. Overcharged and a rip-off. Forgot the sewer backed up in the shower. Charming.

Relaxing house

Thanksgiving Florida visit

We had to move my parents from independent living to assisted living and brought a trailer to haul things back home. The beautiful sunset views made up for the dated living room, kitchen, and master bed/bathroom. The guest bedrooms and bath have been updated and are nice. The house suited our needs and with the one story living area, my parents were able to visit with mobility issues. The pool was not clean, but very nice updated layout. We used it once despite the leaves and debris in the pool. Gorgeous views make this a perfect getaway. It just needs a little work on some things. Not all the lights work and some electrical outlets were not working. The patio furniture was comfortable, but some lawn chairs were torn or webbing missing. The driveway gave us plenty of room to park our trailer and car. We would rent this again.

The view is amazing but the property needs a little TLC. Not as pictured. Host dificult to work with

I wish I could write a wonderful review for this home with its incredible view. The space was great for a family gathering but I should have paid more attention to some of the older, not so great reviews. Read them ALL before you go! A $1,000 charge was posted to our credit card after checkout due to the host’s claim of damage. Host claimed she had “backed up toilets”. We had absolutely no issues with plumbing either during or at the conclusion of our stay. Overall, we experienced many of the same issues as reported in previous travelers’ reviews, and more. The pictures and descriptions of the property are deceiving, and amenities misrepresented. Many things that previous travelers mentioned needing repair or updating have not been dealt with. Needs new patio chair cushions, dock repair, sliding glass door fixed, pool resurface, jacuzzi repair, and storm windows fixed so you can see the whole view. We left the home as we found it. There were no departure instructions given. While packing out and cleaning up we tried contacting the host to see if there was anything else we needed to do. Host did not respond. The sunset view from this home is fabulous. We had a very restful family vacation and took care to use the property with care as we would our home. Even if the many physical issues were rectified, we can’t recommend this property due to the false and unreasonable claims of damage, as well as after-the-fact claims of violating the contract by not asking permissions pertaining to the use of "Your private dock" or the gathering of family members during the day. Her claims and cost of any damage remain unsubstantiated.

Amazing ocean view
