Om overnatningsstedet

Ballard RV Park Camping telt

Rene og komfortable, grundlæggende indkvartering.! Teltet har 2 sovesofaer, et lille bord, et lys og en fan .. De moderne ombyggede badeværelser ligger en kort gåtur fra teltet. En fælles grill er i nærheden til madlavning. Vejret og forholdene tillader det, vi har en brandkasse. Vores ejendomme på VRBO har samlet en samlet på næsten 700 fem stjernede anmeldelser. Vi er bekvemt placeret på I-70 ved exit187. Moab og Aches National Park exit er 5 miles mod vest ved Exit 182. Teltet er rent og komfortabelt og er til gavn for økonomien.

Even though I had a blanket, it was already too cold by September. The sound of trains passing by late at night was about a hundred times louder than I imagined. We couldn’t sleep well. Common space was so clean and cold.

I would never stay here again. The bunk beds are so narrow you can barely lie on them. It was so cold because the entire tent wasn't closed properly, and there was a draft everywhere. And the whole night was so loud that you couldn't sleep because the canvas kept slapping against the tent. It sounded like plastic being smashed together. I've rarely spent such a terrible night.

I never heard from the host about how to check in so I didn’t even stay there. I didn’t get a refund or anything. This was a terrible experience.

We stayed in the tent for a few nights. It was nice for the convenience factor; we did not have to set up a tent. The tent itself was spacious and the cots were comfortable, but the top of the tent was not pinned down to the framing well so it would flap very loudly in the wind at night. Also a train went by every night at 12 and 3 am, so we didn’t get much sleep for those 2 factors. The tent is right next to another tent so we could hear our neighbors snoring all night. I will say the private bathrooms in the main trailer building were a nice plus! There is laundry on site, but no atm. We had asked the property management if we could wash our clothes and then go get the money and hand it to them because we had no clean clothes. Unfortunately they said no which was rude. Would not stay here again solely for the lack of sleep and respect.

L’annonce n’est pas claire. Elle ne précise pas qu’il n’y a ni couverture ni drap ni serviette. Nous avons eu cette information au dernier moment. Les hôtes Les et Shelly Thayn n’ont fait aucun effort pour nous trouver une solution. Nous avons donc dû chercher un autre logement.Abritel aurait dû vérifier que l’annonce soit explicite. Le même logement sur Airbnb précise clairement l’absence de draps et de couvertures. Pour nous, Abritel c’est terminé !

Great Experience!

My friend and I had a lovely stay! The tent was clean and as expected. My only complaint is how close it is to the railroad tracks. I was woken up in the middle of the night to a train horn that sounded like it was about to blaze through the tent. Although, my friend wasn’t woken up because he is a heavy sleeper. If you’re staying in the colder months, I recommend a space heater. Also, if you’ve never slept on a cot before, definitely bring something for cushioning.

What a great value! It’s a tent so don’t expect more than what is detailed in the listing. The campground is excellent with fantastic amenities and friendly staff.

Ill be honest and say i did not actually stay. I arrived mid afternoon it was 100f outside and felt even hotter in the tent when i stuck my head in there it was hot dark and felt like an oven plus as a solo female it actually didnt feel safe stuck out in the middle of a parking lot.

Tent Stay

My stay was in a canvas tent. It provided all I needed to support my visit to the nearby parks - a shelter with electricity, a chair, a cot and a lantern. The restrooms are private and clean.

Dry and hot

Great staff, nice showers, has what it says, but it is so hot and dry in that area you feel like you are eating dirt and it’s tough to sleep.

Tent stay

The park was quiet and clean. It was nice to have a cot, a light, a fan, and an extension cord for electrical access.

3 night stay

Nice property. I like that the bathroom "house" actually has several full private bathrooms. It was very quiet and everything was clean.

Peaceful. Great price. Just what we needed.

This location was exactly what we needed. Quiet, comfortable, great price. We only needed the tent for sleeping and acting as a base camp for our adventures in the area. Nearby bathroom and showers were great as well.

Exploring

Loved it. Slept great,explored canyon on e bikes,went to Arches NP for 2 days,explored Moab,ate at unique and delicious restaurants each day. Could not have gone with hotel prices. The tent was perfect. We ate out and throughly enjoyed our 3 night 4 day stay.

Summer Vacation

My time in Moab was memorable, and this place was fantastic because they had everything we needed. From a great place to sleep, BBQ grill to prepare our food, fabulous bathroom, showers, and laundry machine, and this something that I will let my friends know because it will be easier to book this place rather than finding a place to set up your tent and worried for other stuff that you needed to do.

Arrived to find our reserved tent space was occupied. Called the posted telephone number to get help from on site mgt. Recording informed us voice mailbox was full. Found unoccupied neighboring tent hoping it wasn't reserved by anyone else. After hunting for someone on staff a finally found someone who affirmed we could use the other empty space. Lots of RV and ATV noise as well as nearby freight train running thru the night. Restrooms and laundry area clean.

A hidden gem with compromises

I stayed in one of the tents. The facility is clean, bathrooms - well attended, and my tent was in decent shape. It’s on a wood platform with two cots. You will need to bring a heater and extension cord. It IS the desert, and the nights can be freezing. Important note: the train passes the camp within a few hundred feet. The train crew sees to delight at blowing the horn as the pass near the campground late at night.
