Wonderful Stay on the River

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From check-in, to amenities, to views, to cleanliness, we enjoyed everything about the Land of Oz rental.Only downside was our 2 seniors couldn't use the elevator because it was broken (obviously not the owners or vrbo's fault).

Beautiful condo in an excellent location!! This condo lives big, with a nice living room to gather and watch football and nice sized bedrooms. The balcony overlooks the river enabling serene mornings. We will definitely be booking this condo again!

The property was fantastic. Great location and ease to campus. Restaurants downstairs made eating easy. Beautiful scenery. Place had everything in it we needed. Lot of thoughtfulness was put into it.

Great place to stay!

We had so much fun/ walked to the Alabama game, enjoyed the river views and had a comfortable and enjoyable weekend!

Felt like home

We've stayed at many rentals when going to Tuscaloosa to visit my daughter. This was, by far, my favorite!! It felt just like home...clean, fluffy towels, the most comfortable beds, and even a "junk" drawer when I was looking for a pen and paper. I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.

Second time staying here

Love this place! Great location to all things we like to do in Tuscaloosa- football games, restaurants, walking our dog, etc. Beds are comfy, bathrooms are roomy, and kitchen has everything you need. Best part is having a cup of coffee on the balcony overlooking the river!

What a great place! We loved the location and the views of the river are amazing! The house was adorable, and it provides quick and easy access to just about everything! Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful stay and super comfortable!! Close to everything

We loved the river condos. Very peaceful and relaxing. Seeing the boats come through was such a treat. The crickets and frogs at night reminded me of my hometown. This place had everything we needed and more. Would buy it if it was for sale. That how much we loved it.

July 4th Tide

Tide on 12th is a beautiful and clean property. Each bedroom had its own restroom and the powder room down a hallway offered something you usually don't get it rentals. All updated appliances, decor etc. Truly lovely. The area is safe, I walked alone every morning. The location is great for game day, you could walk if you were wearing comfortable shoes. The property is as advertised. Contacting the property manager and check in was very easy. We will definitely be coming back to Tide on 12th.

Very very nice but noise

Place is beautiful, well decorated and very well stocked. Location on meandering river was picturesque. Riverwalk right outside the door. Owner responded quickly at all times. We were worried about it being pet friendly because of allergies but it was so well cleaned we didn't have any issues. There are also two restaurants on site. Great place, only negative is that you will hear the people above you. You will hear the vehicles on the road, especially on the balcony and you will sometimes hear the people traveling the riverwalk.

Truly the Land of OZ of Comfortability!

My family and I loved many things about the Land of Oz. This Condo was spacious, beautifully decorated, clean, and fully stocked. I can not say enough about how fully stocked this Condo was. The Hosting management company provided plenty of towels, paper towels, toilet tissue, and garbage bags for our 4-night stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, silverware, cups, glasses, and baking ware. There was just about every small appliance you would possibly need. Tools were provided in case we decided to grill on the patio. What was incredibly nice was a highchair, and a step stool for our grandbabies was already in the unit. The Condo represented Alabama well in very subtle ways, from the color of the dishes and coffee cups to some pictures on the wall. I can not say enough about the view from the outside covered patio; that was serene, comfortable, and VERY spacious. We sat out there a lot. There are televisions in every bedroom, including the outdoor patio, with service provided through Xfinity. The Xfinity service allowed us to watch live TV without worrying about streaming from our devices or logging on to our streaming services, although that was an option also. The location was absolutely excellent and centrally located. This location is right above Another Broken Egg and the River. There is also a nail salon below the unit and a boutique and exercise business. It is right on the Riverwalk walking trail with a small playground for toddlers and seconds from being on the University of Alabama Campus, and minutes to the stadium. Additionally, there is an instruction book in the unit that explains everything you need to know about your stay in the unit. We hated to leave! I highly recommend this unit. Lastly, I can not say enough about the effective communication of the host. Effective communication is essential to ensure your needs will be met before, during, and after your stay. They are very responsive and have the best customer service ever!
