Comfortable condo at a great location

Condo was comfortable for our family at a great location. Lots of things to do. Wish the owner would have more pantry space and hooks to hang towels and wet suits. We enjoyed our stay. Very quiet part of the resort.

Girls trip

My friend and I wanted to get away for the week in myrtle beach. The place was a great location had 3 beds and the view was nice! The pools at the resort were wonderful and had easy access to the beach! This is the second time I have stayed at the resort but the first time in this room. I would stay here again!

Resort was great but room was subpar. No counter space around stove area..small outdated sofa. You get what you pay for. I’d stay at the resort again but not in this room. The water pressure was great though. The view is pretty.

Myrtle Beach Stay

We flew down and asked questions if there were beach towels available and was told yes. There was not so we had to go buy some. Pulled out the sofa couch and it was dirty under with trash and some type of stuffing that I questioned letting my grandkids sleep on it. The picture showed a nice kitchen. Couldn't cook in the oven as it was dirty and set off the smoke alarm in the room. There was no room to even prepare a meal. Not what I thought I was getting.

Thanks for your feedback and we sincerely apologize for the housekeeping issues upon arrival. We would have been more than happy to send housekeeping back to reclean, had we known there was an issue. We do not provide beach towel, only bath towels and bed linens.

Overall a great place

The resort itself has excellent amenities! The room itself was I and the 4 adults opinion was it was a bit worn! If you plan on doing any basic cooking it’s lacking in pots. The bathroom needs a little TLC! Cleanliness was about a 3! Carpets need cleaned! Beds in the bedroom were extremely comfy! View was excellent! Overall a great time! Just those few minor things which could be remedied pretty quickly!

The property was barely cleaned.

This property was in great location but it looked as if it hadn’t been clean in the last few visits. It appears in the pictures as if it is very neat but is totally not what we got. For the price we dealt with it but I would likely not stay here again.

Friends weekend getaway

We had 3 friends going for a quick weekend getaway. It was a Nice condo. Kitchen was small and didn’t have dishwasher, but we ate out mostly anyway. But if staying all week and cooked daily, would like a dishwasher. Only had one roll toilet paper. Might want to take your own, because the realtor is off site and if they are closed, the condos building staff is not supposed to provide supplies for this room. The housekeepers need to do a deep clean. There was something sticky under cabinets and also shelf under tv. Housekeeping needs to move the binder on bottom shelf and clean under it. Couldn’t find a sheet for the Murphy bed. We had extra blanket my friend laid on. We did have plenty of towels. Thanks so much for this! But, overall the room was perfect for what we needed and def worth what we paid. There is 2 full size beds in bedroom and the Murphy bed. I think there may have been one in couch too, but not sure about that one. Plenty of sleeping room. Nice size bathroom. But, the balcony was my favorite spot! Love the ocean view!!! I will go again and use this place.

The condo itself is really nice. You have 2 beds in the bedroom as well as a Murphy bed and the couch also pulls out. The beds weren't the most comfortable and they creak a lot when you move but that could just be the frame. There isn't a whole lot of room in the kitchen cabinets to put your food unless you move stuff. I will say if you plan on cooking in your room to at least bring a pot. There was only one pot available. Also could not find a pizza pan. The bathroom is big. Downside to the bathroom is the door does not close completely. The shower head is borderline painful. It shoots water out way to hard with no option to change it. Checking in was easy. The office you go to is a little over a mile away from the hotel. Getting into the hotel was horrible. There was no where to park to unload. The carts to take your stuff to your room were all being used. And one elevator out of the 3 was out the majority of the time we were there. People were lined up outside in line to get on the elevator. Once you get to unload there is parking in the parking garage unless you have a handicap tag and there are spots available directly in front of the building. There are plenty of pools and hot tubs but so so many people. They seemed to keep them clean. Be sure to wear your wrist bands because they check. Also know that if you want a lounge chair out by the pool to plan ahead. People will pay their towels out and claim them for the whole day and not even be there.

DIRTY AND OLD. PICTURES NEED TO BE UPDATED! The furniture is to dirty to set on! SMELLY AND DIRTY.

I would not stay there again! Fooled by the listing pictures!!! From the second we arrived there was a strong musty smell. Mostly in the bedroom! Not good for a person with asthma! Dirty bedding, bed pillows, sofa, throw pillows and carpet. We had the blanket in the room cleaned so we could cover the sofa to sit on. The Condo needs a major clean up and updating. Didnt look like the listing pictures!! It was a struggle to continue our stay because the smell was so strong. Probably coming from the carpet. Also because the murphy bed had a dirty mattress cover, no sheets or clean bedding or pillows, knowone else could stay with us. We were disappointed and had to make other arrangements for them. So we dealt with it and stayed out most of he day and night to avoid the smell! I feel we paid plenty of extra fees and expected it to be clean and look like the listing pictures!!! The best thing about it was the location and ocean view. We stayed in different places on MB through out the years without any complaints. This one broke the chain.

We're sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with this unit. The unit is professionally cleaned after each stay and deep cleaned in the winter/early spring. That's also when we have the carpets and upholstery professionally cleaned as well. However, we would have been more than happy to send the cleaning company back to reclean and bring additional sheets, pillows and blankets, if we would have known you were not satisfied.

Baywatch Resort Condo Rental

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The staff at North Beach Realty were very professional and welcoming. The rental wasn't as nice as I feel the photos showed on vrbo. You could tell the place was very used. There was a rug over the main carpet that probably needed to be replaced from all the foot traffic. The furniture in a lot of the photos on vrbo was different, and there were accutlly more seating options as well, even though I really didn't want to sit on any of them. There were random landline phones in rooms, and none of them were plugged in, which was strange. The fridge worked great, but there was a lot of wear on the handles and rust on the sides. The fire alarm was extremely sensitive. We used the stove, and I only had it open for about 10 seconds when the fire alarm started going off. We had to go buy dish soap even though the rental said there would be a small bottle. The linens on the bed were clean, and the towels were soft. During our short stay, we had three different sets of neghibors, while the clean staff were doing their jobs, they were extreamly loud and slamming doors. All that to say, the walls are thin. There is a exterior window from the bedroom to the main hallway. I was definitly not a fan of that, there was a curtain, but if a person angled just right, you could see the bed. The elevators were very clean and FAST. The parking deck was a little tight. Honestly, the best part of the condo was the view of the ocean, the proximity to the beach, and minimal walking to beach access. I would recommend North Beach Realty and the Baywatch Resort, but not this specific condo until some updates are made.

When we arrived the place was tiny. But that’s ok, because it was just my husband and myself. No can opener. And it didn’t say that the coffee machine was a pod pot. So we had to go out and buy more coffee. The first day we were stuck on the ninth floor because something happened to the elevator. I’m kinda old, so I couldn’t go up and down nine floors. So the first day was a wash. The WiFi went out when this happened. I called and left a email but never got it fixed. We tapped into the neighbors WiFi. (Which constantly went out) very annoying. I was told by both Bat Watch that the unit was privately owned so no one helped. And told by you all that there was nothing to be done. The location to the beach was Awsome and the little restaurants and bar were also great with great service. Great prices too. So other than that, we had a pretty good time. Next time, I think I would stay somewhere else.

The company who rented it was very kind. Upon arriving the room had an awful smell, there was a used K-cup in the coffee machine, the floor carpet was stained and carpet in the bedroom was stained. We messaged a head to see what coffee maker was in the room. They said standard coffee pot, get there k-cup. The listing said dish washer and the book in room said load dish washer. Guess what no dish washer. The jacuzzi bathtub was nice, but the Jacuzzi did not work. The thing that was the most troublesome was the beds. Our daughter immediately wants to go to the beach, sits on the bed to change her clothes. The bed collapses out from underneath her. We called the emergency line they call and at they are coming to fix it and this has been an ongoing issue with this unit and the owner had finally agreed to buy new bed frames and they would be back the next day to fix them. That she had to be very careful when she sit on it until they could fix it. Well, they never came. 5ish we get a voicemail from Stacey and she states they had to order them and they do not know when they will be in. The whole purpose of this 20 hr road trip and where we picked was the bed for each person and be near our friend we came to see. It was ruined. Very disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Baywatch for many years. I believe this rental has not been updated since it was built 20+ years ago. The carpet is nasty, the beds were hard to sleep in everything needed a new coat of paint. There is no washer dryer, there is no dishwasher. All the furniture is original from day one. Had to vacuum every day due to ants and bugs. We decided to leave a day early just because of the condition. My recommendation would be to pass on this unit.

Great time

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was perfect. The amenities at Bay Watch were great , from the multiple pools , restaurants and bar. The one minute walk to the beach was the best part. Only things missing from the condo were a washer/dryer and dishwasher. Next year we will have to find a rental with those. The condo was super clean and just what we needed.
