Amazing experience with Vacasa

The room is clean and tidy, has all the essentials we need during stay. Parking lot is easy to access. The place is close to groceries and souvenir stores, etc.

Clean, great location

Loved this place! Sparkling clean, no bug issues at all, kitchen had tons of amenities for cooking. Looks better in person than in photos. They have 2 beach chairs, boogie boards, and a beach umbrella for you to use. Laundry in the building on the 2nd floor. No need for air conditioning as the room has great airflow. Beautiful view of the ocean and nice deck, great location close to shops and groceries as well as some great beaches. Go to Napili Beach for snorkeling and protected swimming and Kaanapali Beach to have more space. Would totally stay again and have already recommended to others.

Great Spot!

We were only in Maui for two nights and I really wish we could have stayed longer. Very nice condo with an amazing view (pictures don't do justice in the listing). Waking up every morning for a cup of coffee and watching the sea turtles feeding was a real treat. We didn't really walk around that area of town a whole lot so I'm not 100% sure how close bars/restaurants are. I didn't notice a whole lot but could have been right off a block or two. Thanks to the host for the coffee and chocolate! Would 100% recommend this place and will be staying here again when we have some more time in Maui.

Very nice however

We had an issue with the TV, balcony light and bedroom screen. Sent an e-mail to Vacassa ( property manager ) and finally received a response 8 days after we got home . No customer service at all. Balcony furniture needs replacing and also beach chairs and umbrella are very old. Buyer beware.

The place was nice, staff was accommodating to our needs, however the coaches were not.

We stopped cooking here, stopped leaving cereal, chips, open drinks out bc of the roaches. Such a beautiful place, totally sad that we couldn't have THAT piece of mind knowing our meals had to be washed, dishes surfaces silverware EVERYTHING washed before-hand. We couldn't even used the toaster bc of the big ones we saw come out. The 8 that ran across my hand and waffle iron when I opened it was my final undoing... The tracks left off of it was enough of a sight that we were done cooking, eating or snacking here. We left alot of purchased foods from our 1st grocery shopping day here bc we mentally just couldn't do it. Beautiful place though

You need to know...........

The previous renter's title and review summed it up. The roaches were STILL there when we arrived. We knew to not buy any food thanks to the last review I was reading ON our way to the condo. Sure enough, they were in the kitchen our entire stay. We made coffee in the condo, that was it. We had a few snacks, kept in ziplock bags. Never made a meal, just the thought of it made us sick. My husband killed countless numbers of roaches. We took the trash out at least once a day. The condo management tried to fix the problem but never followed up to see if the problem was fixed. The roaches never left. Luckily we only saw them in the kitchen. We have stayed at other condo's in Hale Ono Loa and have never seen roaches before. The condo it self was nice, could have been better. Yes the view was amazing. They did not remodel the bathroom. I have a thing about old bathrooms and with the kitchen unusable we were disappointed. I think the tub was original, clean but hard to tell it was clean because it was so old. The bathroom was a tiny room with toilet and tub/shower. The vanity had granite but the sink was stainless steel. Weird. Sitting on the lani was our favorite, very beautiful view. BUT the view isn't everything, when renting a condo you should be able to enjoy full use of the condo.

Comfortable condo in a great location

We found this condo was located in a great place for us to easily get to the activities we had planned for our visit to Maui. One of the top rated beaches in Maui is a short 10 minute drive away. The condo had all the basics we needed for our trip.

Loved staying here. The apartment is super clean. The balcony is very spacious and it has the perfect view of the ocean! ❤️ We would definitely stay there again. A few notes: There’s no AC, but that didn’t bother us. There’s plenty of fans in the apartment and keeping the balcony door open helped cool down the house. Both the bathroom and bedroom sliding doors has a frosted glass panel, which lacks a bit of privacy.

As expected.

Small place, that is kinda tired overall. Needs basic things in kitchen, wine glasses, Tupperware, and glass free larger dish to take to BBQ at pool.

Beautiful View!

We loved our stay in this unit! The views from our balcony were outstanding as well as the access to the water. We would definitely rent this unit again! The hid-a-bed was not very comfortable and was hard to sleep on. Other than that, A 5 star experience

This is a wonderful place to stay in. Pros: Great location, wonderful view from the front door and patio , full kitchen, comfy bed Cons: no air conditioning but if you open the main door and patio door the cross ventilation is wonderful Overall I would go back to stay back here…

Amazing place to stay

We really enjoyed staying here at Hale ono loa 406. We can see the ocean and hear the sounds of wave. Amenities are well equipped and very clean. I will definitely return and stay here for the next trip to Maui.
