Hi Monica, Thank you for staying with us. I’m glad you mentioned during your stay that you found our condo very nice. Your visit came shortly after Hurricane Lowell, while Kiahuna Plantation and the surrounding Poipu area were still recovering. We communicated the resort conditions and ongoing cleanup before your arrival and offered you the option to cancel with a full refund. We were also happy to upgrade you to our ground-floor condo, closer to the beach, at no additional charge. Unfortunately, the hurricane caused significant damage to portions of the resort, resulting in temporary closures and ongoing restoration work. We hope you were still able to enjoy your time on Kauai despite the hurricane recovery efforts and that you’ll consider returning when Kiahuna and Poipu are back to their usual beautiful condition.
