Our stay at the Jolly Rogers in Great Guana Cay was incredible. Beautifully laid out property in a gorgeous ocean setting. The host did an awesome job providing all of the information needed to make our stay the best it could be. Everything about our stay was great. I highly recommend this property to others seeking a beautiful setting in a more remote area of the Bahamas.

The property manager Jackie was very helpful in coordinating our arrival and departure and assisting with luggage. She also quickly answered any questions that we had about the house or the island. The house was very comfortable and each bedroom has its own bathroom which is nice. The ocean views and access were amazing. I would definitely recommend staying at the Jolly Roger and we hope to stay there again soon.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay. The kids loved being right on the beach. Jackie was very helpful and the house was clean and ready when we arrived. We loved sitting on the porch and the location was perfect!

The beach was fabulous. The house had everything we needed. The owner always responded quickly with communications. We would definitely recommend!

This house was absolutely perfect for a spring break for girls. Will definitely be back. The house was clean, spacious, and the beach was beautiful and private. The housekeeper was very helpful with our stay and communicating with any help we needed. Would definitely recommend the Jolly Rogers!!!

July at Guana

Owner and property manager were both very helpful leading up to and during our stay. Property is very nice and well appointed for the 4 couples that stayed. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great basic beach house

Fabulous location with terrific views. Comfortable beds, clean house, had all the basics but really would have appreciated a washer and dryer.

Glad you enjoyed your stay! Since we keep our personal items in the laundry (and water conservation is so important here) we lock the room. I never wear all my clothes as I spend most of my time in a cover up. Haha. Hope to have you again.

Great Stay at Jolly Roger on Great Guana Cay

Our family of five adults had a great week. Ocean front, close to Grabbers and Nippers, gorgeous ocean view. Jackie met us for an easy check-in. Dive Guana is the best for golf cart rentals.

Lovely Cay and Home

We had a lovely time in a beautiful beach home with the Jolly Roger. All amenities were perfect, and anyone met on the Cay was a pleasure.

Beautiful Home

Check in was easy, the caretaker is very kind! It’s nice to find a home that has a bathroom for each bedroom. Location is great, love that we were able to walk down to the beach. Would definitely stay again!

Thanks for your review! Maybe there will be some beach chairs available in marsh harbour this year and I’ll grab a few. Last year we never found any, so we just used our towels. 😊

Paradise Retreat!

Another great stay on Guana Cay! Jolly Roger is an excellent home for groups—well maintained, well equipped, and steps from the famous Guana Cay Beach. Jackie is the perfect Host. We will be back!

Amazing time at the Jolly Roger!

This home was perfect for our group. The house is beautiful and the view is unreal. The porch was a perfect gathering place for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Do not hesitate to book this property.

Our experience started shorly after booking when we received an email from the property owner with a TON of helpful tips. It continued when we were greated by the caretaker who escorted us to the house and showed us around. The house was even nicer in person than in the pictures. It truly had everything we needed, including some things we didn't even think of. If that wasn't enough, walking out onto the deck and seeing that view?? Stunning! I only wosh we had stayed longer!!

Amazing beach vacation

The beach and house were beautiful and in a terrific location. Jackie was extremely helpful and available as needed. Highly recommend boat and golf cart to fully enjoy the island and nearby locations. The beach behind the house was terrific for kids and adults and very private. I

Paradise

Beautiful property, great location, easy communication with owners and one site contact, Jackie, is awesome! It's a 30 minute ferry ride from Marsh Harbour to get to but worth it. Also, in our opinion renting a boat is a must for easy access to all the surrounding islands on your timeframe as the ferry doesn't run that often.

Amazing place

I have stayed in Guana many times and this property has been the best one. Unbelievable location. On the water with the beach downstairs. The property was clean and everything that you would need is there. The property manager Jackie met us at the dock and helped us with whatever we needed. She was extremely helpful and friendly. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!!

Perfect setup for friends and family

This home is perfectly set up for a beach vacation. Jackie (the caretaker) was available for any questions. The home is well equipped. Beach is out the back door. Guana has a grocery store and liquor store. It’s worth the ferry ride for sure.

Great house!

Perfect house for 2 families. We were 9 and everyone was super comfortable. Great location on a beautiful beach. Only saw two people on the sand over the course of a week. The caretaker, Jackie, couldn't be any nicer and she makes a delicious banana bread. Will be back!!!

Home was lovely with high ceilings and a wonderful view of the ocean! The electricity went off on island one day but we hardly noticed because the generator kicked in automatically and we kept cool and had all the electricity we needed. Beach chairs were appreciated! Home had spices which helped with cooking. Having 4 en suite bathrooms was wonderful!

Beautiful home, perfect for our family

We were very happy with this property! The view and the beach are spectacular and super private. My only reason for a 4-star rating on the location is that we love to snorkel and would've enjoyed being closer to the reef. We had one issue with the a/c not working, but Jackie got on it and got it fixed right away! Only suggestion for the kitchen would be a simple coffee maker. We used the french press but it was time consuming for our 5 coffee drinkers.

Glad you enjoyed your stay and so glad Jackie was able to have the quick ac fix. Sometimes being on an out island any repairs can take a while. Did you try using the carafe with the keurig? It should make 4 cups at a time. I will still do my best to take a Mr coffee next time I go.

perfect place. only issue is the water pressure. i understand the value of water in the abacos, but the tanks were all full so 9K gallons of water and the pressure was so weak the soap was impossible to remove from our bodies. the outside shower had pressure so we would rinse off downstairs
