If you want to spend your vacation with the owners it’s the place for you. I wanted privacy and paid a large sum of money for no privacy. Paid a hefty cleaning fee and was instructed to leave to property better than I found it. And steps to the beach was at least 4 flights of stairs . A nightmare for elderly or children. I never felt relaxed looking out my window in the morning seeing the owners in the garden. Should have made that clear that they are on the premises at any time. I don’t think I’d rent another cottage again. Worst vacation I’ve had.

Quick Family Getaway

We stayed for a few days to get out of town. The property is really nice, with a big garden. The house has lots of space, ocean is just a minute away.

We had the most wonderful stay! The house is charming and sweet and had more than everything we needed for our two families with kids and grandparents (perfect for all ages!) The beach is gorgeous and so close. Dawn is a gracious host and so helpful. We would highly recommend!

Great location, which is the best part of this property. Private, secluded home setback from a quiet street. Walkable to beach, grocery and restaurants. Charming New England home, but desperately needs updating, i.e. the outdoor shower is the best spot for a cleaning. Beach lovers will like this property.

3000 foot Cape Cod cottage very beautiful inside. Fenced in huge backyard was perfect for the dogs.Host was very helpful on places to go in the area. went deep sea fishing in Yarmouth caught 21 striped bass was a lot of fun. Beaches were nice water was cold. We had a great time and would go back again.

Wedding

This place was perfect!! It was comfortable and roomy. It was also beautiful. I do think that the porch was everyone's favorite though, very peaceful and makes it easy to forget you’re surrounded by a town. I would highly recommend this place and Dawn was awesome, answering all our questions quickly!

Incredible Getaway

We loved this place. A rambling lovely charming old time cottage by the sea! Gardens and land are lovely with patios that make outdoor entertaining easy. The host Dawn is incredibly helpful and lovely to deal with. Overall a perfect experience!

Perfect home for the holiday...

I was referred to Dawn (owner) for a potential booking during the recent holiday season. From the start, Dawn was responsive and addressed all questions I had and made the booking process seamless. Dawn's home welcomed my entire family (humans and dogs) and provided a warm and welcoming feel for our visit to Plymouth. The property has a large yard which was great for the dogs. The property is also located close to the beach which is also pet friendly and is in walking distance to a neighborhood pizza shop, and grocery store. I would highly recommend Dawn and her amazing home for anyone looking to visit the Plymouth area!

This family really exemplifies the character of person(s) we're always hoping to attract. ...warm, generous, respect-filled. Although it wasn't mentioned in their review, and it certainly could have been, on their first night in they called me to explain a small leak that puddled in the blue bedroom and that they wouldn't be needing that bedroom but thought I should know....thank you! Although we take great care in our home, things come up...it is after all a near 100 yr old cottage & you're the eyes and ears of the home when we're not there It was a delight being able to share our home with them this holiday season & wish them the very best in and throughout the New Year.

Wonderful house and yard

My family of 6 adults spent a wonderful week here. We had 3 dogs between us and it was a great place for all concerned! The house is very comfortable and each room had ample fresh air and open windows. The sunroom is very nice to sit in and read; the yard was fantastic for the dogs (and us); the neighborhood was great for walking for us and the dogs. The beach was very nice; at low tide on a sunny day the water is plenty warm. The beach is also dog friendly, and they loved playing there. The neighbors were all very friendly as well. There are nice public tennis courts very close by, and several nice restaurants (we particularly enjoyed 42 degrees) also very close by. Not to mention Mary Lou's coffee within close walking distance! Plymouth has history ( we went to the grist mill) and shopping (Colony Place, Mayflower Brewing) within a short drive. In addition, it is very close to Boston if you have family/friends who need to be close or commute. The house is not for those looking for modern conveniences, although the wifi works just fine. The hall bathroom downstairs has no shower, and the porch stairs are tall and not greatly lit at night, if any of you have trouble with stairs. However, the old stove works great, and all the appliances, while not the newest, work great as well! Finally, Dawn was a fantastic hostess who was available if we had problems (which we did not) and was very welcoming, as was her house. We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming again when we vacation in this area!

Relaxing & very quaint

Manomet bluffs is a very private beach rental location. The beach cannot be beat. The cottage is vintage & rustic. Some of the windows do not open, but there are numerous fans and a couple of air conditioners. The vintage gas stove is esthetically pleasing, but for preparing larger meals was somewhat challenging. Several windows do not open in the kitchen which makes meal prep time a hot affair. Chopping knives, as well as spoons and cooking utensils were somewhat limited. FYI - the microwave is hidden in a lower cabinet. We worked around it. If you have dogs, the yard is fenced in and works out very well. There is space to spread out and larger rooms for everyone to hang out. Note that the downstairs twin bedroom is right off the living room - So at night low voices required for little ones in there. Note that none of the windows open in that twin bedroom. There is a door in there with a screen, but that is it. Everyone loved and commented how they would miss the outdoor shower. Dawn is very communicative and lives on the property so any questions or issues were addressed in a timely manner. No one was renting the week following us and Dawn kindly offered us extra time or a later check out. There are plenty of beach chairs and towels. Market close by. The location is convenient. Our family enjoyed our stay. The area is nice and quiet compared to other rental areas. Plenty of activities to keep everyone busy and entertained in the area.

Cozy by the Beach

We had a great experience staying for our long weekend getaway! Just minutes from the beach and near some great food options. Very spacious and clean, coupled with a gorgeous yard.

Sweet beach

The beach at the bottom of our road was lovely - even dreamlike. The paddling was different every day. The house was our secret garden. There were ten of us.

Great location great host

Definitely a house that you don’t have to worry about children messing it up. Had a great yard and shade, beach is great. Inside is like a museum of years past. A mixture of furniture. Needs some better bedding amd naintence but we n general a nice place and location

Wonderful property

Rented for a family vacation and we had a great time. A little unlucky that it was the hottest week of the year and most of the house doesn’t have AC. House was beautiful and property is well maintained. Property was in a great location, close to beach, restaurants and stores.

Perfect location

Three generations enjoyed the location, hospitality and house. Perfect location steps from the ocean. Lots of space and rooms through out the house for getting together or finding quiet spot. I highly recommend this place
