We had a great stay a this cozy cottage right on the lake. Couldn't ask for a better place to watch the sunsets from.

Steven is a wonderful host. I was able to book the cottage on short notice and he was very accommodating. House is a quaint summer cottage. We loved sitting out on the deck absorbing the sun and beautiful setting. It’s located very close to Wolfboro. Great ice cream,restaurants and shops. Thanks so much Steven.

Great location. Lake is beautiful. Really enjoyed all the water equipment and fire pit. Was very surprised that we had to bring all our linens and towels. The kitchen, stove and refrigerator are small. Would be nice to have a mirror on the wall in the small bedroom. Definitely needed more blankets but didn't want to pay an additional 50. to open the sealed package.

Great Lake vacation

Our family of 4 and our little dog enjoyed our week at the lake, despite less than ideal weather and not getting to take advantage of the lake and kayaks as much as we would have liked.

Great, dog-friendly cottage

We had a great time at the cottage! It’s fairly small but was perfect for our needs. Good location, loved the ability to kayak and try out paddle boarding (although I discovered it wasn’t for me 😂), and finally managed to convince my dog to swim!

Amazing Winnipesaukee Vacation

The property was exactly as advertised. Beautiful location, sandy swimming areas, centrally located to Alton and Wolfboro. My wife, 4 year old daughter, pup, and myself all had a great time here. Looking forward to renting again next year.

Sweet cabin but "public"

The cabin, the dock, the loons, and the view are wonderful! The nearby marina is no problem cuz the cove is a no wake zone. The road and the beach are a bit intrusive, though.

Nice, clean, and exactly what we needed for a weekend on short notice. easy and clear instructions for checking in/out. lively private beach so close by would be great for families with small children. water sports with paddle and kayaks were great for our tween and teen, plenty of life jackets to choose from. made use of the fun and safe fire pit with plenty of wood and kindle. overall a great stay, thank you!

Perfect camp on Robert’s Cove

My husband, mother and I along with our dog Gracie had a lovely time at this camp. It was very clean and restored nicely. It reminded us of the camp we grew up on in Wakefield NH. We enjoyed the water, the loons, sunsets and great weather. Thank you Stephen and Sarah for sharing your camp with us.

Lovely location

This is a simple but comfortable place to stay. Having air conditioning and dehumudifier were important given the very wet steamy month. Property owners said they will take care of ants, a very common issue at lake camps.

Restful Retreat on Roberts Cove

Cozy cottage at the end of the cove, perfectly situated for sunsets. Spent a lot of time on the dock, and our dogs appreciated the outside enclosure. Restaurants, ice cream, a bakery, shops, and a great dog park are 10 minutes north in Wolfeboro, and a full-sized grocery and restaurants are 10 minutes south in Alton. Great hiking in the area: the dogs especially liked the walk up to Mt. Major.

Wonderful weekend!

Thank you Sarah & Steve, for letting us rent your cottage. It was a great spot, with beautiful views of the lake and sunsets. Sitting on the porch, enjoying morning coffee, overlooking the bay - so peaceful!Being able to bring the 4 legged baby only added to the charm - he loved the enclosed porch and fenced in yard.The cottage has the charm of older days on the lake, but you have maintained it beautifully. Thanks again!

Fantastic Amenities

The proximity to the lake, dock access, beach access, and ability to use on-site kayaks and paddle board made our trip tons of fun. It is a fantastic place for water enthusiasts. We were left wanting more in terms of not providing bedding or towels, not having potable running water, and the proximity to a fairly busy road isn't ideal. This property is best suited for a small group of adults who spend most of the day in or on the water. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is that it's just not ideal for a family with small children, where a larger home with more provided located further from a busy street would have been preferred.

Dissatisfied

Oh, what a surprise when we walked into the camp and found it was on the main road. There were two boats stationed at the dock apparently a separate rental transaction going on there? A public beach to the left of us abutting the property, with many cars parked in front of our rental as well as beside our rental. Constant noise and tailgating going on. a 100+ boat yard with boats going in and out which became our view all day? The yard was a mess with remnants of dog toys , there were hornets nests on the deck , so we couldn’t sit out. The dock as I said, had two boats constricting our view of the lake. And a 2 Lane Cutthrough road behind us, which made the no privacy. Inside the house was relatively clean, except for the ant problem, which we had to buy ant traps, for the camp itself was cute, but small and the beds were very uncomfortable. The nicest part was the sunsets . I suggest making it very clear of all the above characteristics before you continue to rent again. Thank you, jeanne and June .

Perfect property in the Cove. Was absolutely gorgeous.

Again perfect property on the perfect spot on the cove. Cute very clean camp. Only downside was kitchen size. I highly recommend this property. The pictures on VRBO really don’t do it justice!

Wonderful spot!!

We had an amazing time at the cottage. It's a fantastic spot on the lake. We had great weather so the air conditioning was definitely a plus. Easy access to the water and great for parking our boat as well. Nice to have the grill. Property is nice and flat and really loved the chairs and umbrella on the dock. Two important notes: the beach in the photos is the public beach next door which is mentioned in the description. The fridge is undersized for 5 people and there is limited kitchen storage for food. Don't shy away from staying here however--just take that into account when packing. It really is a great spot.

Beautiful view to see the lake and sunset

Small cottage/cabin vibe. Hosts were very accommodating. Small, clean public beach located next to the property. Super convenient for us to bring our boat with gas dock located within the cove. If you love to see a beautiful sunset over the lake, this is your place! Would definitely rent again.

Fantastic Location!

Such a cozy cottage and a great location! Having a boat slip available was amazing too. We had everything we wanted and needed, from the slip to the dock and deck area, fire pit, and fenced in area for the dog. Being westerly facing gives you longer days enjoying the sun - we loved that. And the sunsets were amazing as well!

A little bit of everything in a 3 day stay

Adorable cottage with a million dollar view. Appreciated the obvious attention to detail in this well maintained property. Used the kayaks & SUP during the sunny days & enjoyed the wood stove one cooler evening! Also enjoyed the proximity to local hiking including Castle in the clouds. Great mini vacation filled with activity and relaxation! Thank you!

Wonderful beachfront cabin perfect again!

This was our second vacation at the cabin and it was just as perfect as the first year. Maybe with even better sunsets! We enjoyed the kayaks and fishing in the cove, even if the fish weren't biting. The water level was noticeably higher than last year but the boys still had a blast swimming off the dock. With the short trip to local restaurants in Wolfeboro we didn't cook the entire trip. We hope to be back next year!

Quiet and beautiful

My husband and I rented for a week with our dog. The owners leave very thorough information about the property and area. We had a blast using the kayaks and paddleboard and hiking in the area. Short ride to both Alton and Wolfeboro with plenty of restaurants and shopping, etc. The sunsets are amazing. The perfect place to relax!
