Great place to bring a family with younger kids. Lots of activities. Close to marina, shops and restaurants, and 20 minutes from North Beach.

Bear lake stay

I loved the spacious layout of the home. My little grandchildren loved the big garage to throw their bouncy balls around when it was chilly out and they loved the playground. We had a very comfortable stay. The kitchen met our needs and the jetted tub was nice. We had a great weekend getaway.

Perfect home, not so perfect yard

This house was absolutely perfect for our family and friends. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen we have ever been in. The garage with ping pong table, air hockey, and pool table was perfect for all of our kids to keep busy. Bear lake was nice and quiet. Now the yard/outside property was a different story. Piles of junk and a utility trailer full of trash in front of the house. Not sure why all this was there, but it looked as though it has been there a while. If you like a quiet winter town with epic scenery and views, this town is great!

our stay - minor problems

I thought the home was fine. There was a few problems such as the toilet in the downstairs kept running water and I had to keep reaching into the tank to put the chain back on the flush mechanism. Also the small bedroom upstairs was very hot with no air circulation. The yard was a mess - it was not cared for well and made it difficult for the smaller children to be outside. It was particularly hard when the next door house had a beautiful yard and our 2 year old kept wanting to go there to play outside. Overall the trip was fine and everyone seemed to have a good time - loved the walking trail to town and we used that alot. Thank you !

Good Vacation House

Our stay was very enjoyable with a couple exceptions. We were impressed with the overall cleanliness and spaciousness of the property and amenities provided. We were, however, very disappointed to find out that the listing was inaccurate—the house does NOT have 3 full bathrooms as described. There are only TWO full bathrooms with showers/tubs—one downstairs, one upstairs in the master bedroom—and a random toilet in a small room off the garage. There were also not nearly enough bath towels for our party of 14, which was annoying considering the listing says it can accommodate as many as 18 people. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. The house is ideally located for walking around Garden City, and beach access is just a short drive. We had a lot of fun with the game tables in the garage, although the play equipment (ping pong paddles, hockey pucks, etc.) need replacing. There were not any dresser/drawers in the rooms for storing clothes, but plenty of closet space. Also, it could do with an extra fridge (perhaps in the garage) just because fridge space is a little tight, particularly if a large party was staying for more than a couple days. Overall, it’s a nice property at a good price point.

A Great Property

This was a great property in a great location. We were able to walk just down the street to Garden City restaurants, gas station, and city park. And it was only about 20 minutes to the North Beach of Bear Lake. The house had everything we needed. There was silverware, dishes, pots, pans, and appliances (blender, coffee maker). We used the grill in the backyard which was great. There were plenty of bath towels, and kitchen towels. We loved the propane fire table in the backyard. The pool table, ping pong table, and air hockey in the garage was fun for all ages. The backyard mini golf, and swing set was great as well! The downside was that two hideaway couch beds mattresses were not great, and a little dirty. There didn't seem to be extra sheets that fit those beds anyways, People in our party just slept on the couches. Also all 11 people we had sleeping upstairs had to share the one bathroom that was in the main room, which was sometimes inconvenient. It was also hard that the shower was a clear glass door, and the toilet didn't have a door so it made it hard to share with lots of people. It might be a more comfortable fit for less then 15 people. Other than a few sleeping inconveniences this was a great property and we had a wonderful time.

The game room in the garage was a big hit for my family. The outdoor playground was a hit too. Got hot so we had to put up our own shade that we brought for the beach up. The parking was kind of tight because of the construction going on next door the workers used our parking. The front entrance to the house was nothing but weeds and mud.

Nice place!

We loved how clean and prepared it was. It had everything we needed. Loved the floor plan except upstairs bathroom is in the master bedroom so people in the other bedroom had to come downstairs. We still enjoyed it. The backyard is a wonderful set up where kids can play in a safe environment. Adults can enjoy a BBQ, the firepit or just sit and enjoy being outside. We really enjoyed the 3 game tables in the garage too. It was a great set up for our needs.

Good times at Bear Lake!

Like so many other reviews, my only complaint is the lack of yard for the children to play and for the adults to gather on. It was hard dirt and weeds in back and a literal junkyard in the front. Aside from that, it was wonderful!

Deceitful Photos

The online pictures are not the actual property, it’s the neighboring home. This actual property does not have grass on the backyard, and the front heard is over grown weeds with all sorts of junk on it (an old treadmill, an old motor, trash bags full of soda cans, wooden boxes, ect). One of the bathrooms, is in the garage, not on the actual house- which made it extremely difficult for the 15 people staying in the house to get ready.

Nice scenery of a junk yard.

Best part of this property was the over sized garage. Drains clogged, garbage cans over flowed the day we arrived. Air Condition doesn’t work. Pillows are of the poorest kind. Great view of weeds and junk yard.

Comfortable, spacious and in a really great location

We had 4 families staying together with a wide range of ages and everyone was very comfortable in this space. We loved that the kitchen had everything we needed and we loved how each room had some kind of fan to keep us cool. The stay was comfortable and we loved the extra space in the garage for the teenagers. Teens kept their music and noise in the garage and the toddlers and babies were able to rest comfortably. We were also walking distance from shakes and the little grocery store. And we loved being so close to the lake. We enjoyed it a lot and would definitely stay again.

Nice Stay

Rental was clean and has a fully stocked kitchen. Large spaces and plenty of room for several families. Very nice beds and bathrooms. Would suggest maintaining the game room because pool cues and hockey puck were worn out. Weeds around the house need to be trimmed and spray for insects.

Great house terrible yard

The inside of the house was great! Very clean, plenty of room in the garage for kids to play, nicely stocked kitchen. Biggest problem was the view out of every window was either tall weeds or junk. Even the walkway to the front of the house was hip tall of weeds. The kids brought outside games that we set up at the beach but would have loved to have played in the evenings at the house. We almost went next door to ask to use their beautiful lawn but they also had a large group so we decided to not bother them. I would not rent here again purely for the yard mess which is unfortunate because the rest of the house was great!
