What a fantastic home away from home Richard's Ealing house was.Richard greeted us personally at check-in, showed us around, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The house is spacious, bright, and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the back garden, and having both a washing machine and dryer was invaluable during our nearly two-week stay. The location is excellent. Set on a quiet residential street, the only sounds were delightful children walking to the nearby primary school each morning. There are buses to Ealing Broadway, and Northfields Underground station is an easy walk away, with central London about 30 minutes on the Piccadilly line. Tesco, Sainsbury's, and plenty of restaurants are all nearby. We highly recommend the tapas restaurant around the corner. We ended up eating there three times! One thing to note if you're traveling with older guests or anyone with limited mobility: the stairs are steep with narrow treads, and the bathroom is tight with a high step into the bath/shower. This is typical of many older London homes, but worth considering. My 78-year-old mother found both challenging, though it didn't affect our overall stay.Richard was also incredibly accommodating with a late checkout for our evening flight, something we've rarely experienced. We really appreciated it and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
