Great vaca at STJ

As advertised. Westin is convenient with amenities in reach. We visit USVI several times a year and this is very reliable.

Better than expected

Westin villa perfect size for family of young adults to have own bathroom and TV. Pool and hot tub, full kitchen and grill helped stay on budget. We rented a Bronco for a week, but safari style taxi was probably same costly and went to other beaches and in town. Market in walking distance.

Another perfect stay

2nd year in a row renting the villa. The rooms were all exceptionally clean and well kept up with. No issues whatsoever. We did learn there are different layouts for villas on the 2nd floor. This year we had a villa that had 2 complete rooms with 3 beds vs last year that had two queen beds in a big shared 2nd floor room. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great family space

Wonderful week!

We had a wonderful week in this villa! Great communication with the manager. The onsite property was perfect with great service. We have two kids 7 & 5 so this property was perfect to have your own spot but then to access the resort - we didn't want to leave!

Great trip - start to finish

Om Villas was responsive and helpful in finalizing our reservations at the Westin. They provided all reservation information promptly so we could communicate directly with the Westin on any needs before we arrived (crib and high chair for the room!). We would not hesitate to use them again for any bookings, and recommend them to anyone else looking to plan a trip.

Nice vacation!

I feel like we probably had the nicest place on St. John's for the money. In my research, most private villas on the island were so dated and "schmaltzy". The landscaping at the Westin was impeccably maintained, the pool villas not as much. It was pleasant for sure, and I'm sure it is really hard to maintain those properties in that climate, especially when you throw in a hurricane here and there. I wish it was cleaner, but it was certainly pleasant. The bath products are as cheap as they come - bring your own. And my last ding is the food at the restaurant. They could do so much better with such a captive market (maybe that's why -- they don't have to). The food is horrible. Got diarrhea from the undercooked salmon patty the first night which stuck with me the whole trip. Lovely. Again, I don't think we could have done better, and it was a nice vacation. There's just plenty to improve upon to make it as spectacular as the island.

Lovely place to stay.

We had an awesome time - beautiful pool and hot tub. Relatively close walking distance to the Westin beach and a local grocery store. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay!!! Stunning views!

The property/ resort was lush and beautiful. The villa was very clean. The beds in particular were super comfortable with fluffy bedding. Once we arrived at the airport transportation was super easy. We walked over to the Westin check in and they immediately arranged our shuttle to the ferry. Once our shuttle arrived to the ferry we were immediately whisked off to our resort. It is pricey, but worth it. The food at Snorkles and the pool bar were good. When we wanted to go into town to dine at Restaurants shuttles from the resort were always available. Most of the staff at the resort were super friendly. Sometimes the pool staff wd be annoyed when we wd ask to order food but that wasn’t always the case. We spent a fortune on food at the resort (2,500 worth) and always tipped well so it was a little frustrating when wait staff seemed put out. (Cd be due to being pulled in hundred directions from guests) Other than we had an excellent experience. I wd totally do it again!

Great Villa in St John

Property was great. While cleaning service was not available yet, the service team were very responsive to all requests. The villa was spacious and lovely. Will definitely return to the Westin.

3 Star resort at best

We paid for a 3 BDRM Villa with a hot tub and pool for the two of us to enjoy a private luxurious holiday. We were put in a unit w/out the hot tub and spent over 7 hours of our vacation time on the phone negotiating with both VRBO and the property owner for a partial refund for this blatant lye of amenities provided. A hot tub was both in the property photo and listed among the amenities.

Paradise Found

We loved staying at 3 bedroom Villa with our own pool. It worked out perfectly! There were 6 of us and we had plenty of space. There was everything we needed to make meals together and eat as a family. We also grilled out. Having access to the Westin facilities was perfect as well. It’s close to Cruz Bay and all the beaches. Would definitely rent here again.

highly suggest to everyone

We had a WONDERFUL vacation! The place was exactly as the description and pictures. Dr. Steven and his wife Kevyn were so helpful. Kevyn gave suggestions and tips, she came to see that everything was to our liking and answer any questions. GO GO GO !!! I would do this again in a heart beat! It was perfect for our family of all ages. We had a private pool when you wanted alone time and use of all the hotel facilities-pool and ocean. I highly suggest paying the price for the Westin to transport you from the airport it made it so easy and less of a headache! We never rented a car and really didn't miss having one. Taxis are easy to use to get around the island.

Great Villa

My family of 6 rented this 3 bedroom pool villa for a christmas getaway a few weeks ago. The pictures and description sounded too good to be true but honestly the the pictures do not due this villa justice. It is quite spacious and luxurious. Everyone had there own space and no one got in each others way. We went into town a few nights for dinner which is surprisingly close. and ate at the restraunt in the resort a few nights also. Never was disapointed with any meal. We use the grill next to our own pool in our private courtyard for quite a few lunches. This villa has it all. We have already booked next year in the same villa. Paradise

All of the conveniences of home in one paradise! Arriving at St. John and having my luggage whisked away to our villa was the beginning of our sense of relaxation. We couldn't wait to get into our private pool and to relax with a drink. Because there is a well stocked store just minutes away we were able to walk over and pick up what we needed for the first few days. It was ideal being able to grill out and toss together a few things for our first night on the island. We found the kitchen well stocked and didn't lack for any utensils, linens, or dishes. And, I can't forget the Westin Beds - the linens are beautiful and the beds were great. One of our friends had back problems and said the bed worked out great for him. While the Westin beach is comfortable and convenient, we prefer going to the beautiful beaches preserved by the National Park Service. Trunk Bay is a must and Waterlemon Cay is perfect for snorkeling. We always reserve a day to drive over to Skinny Legs for the 'okay burger'. It's a great chance to see the flora and fauna of the entire island. It's also nice to have the gym and the other recreational offerings supplied by the Westin so available to us. And there is not much more rewarding than having our own washer and dryer - nice to pack clean clothes for the way home as well. It also affords you the opportunity to pack less which is always a challenge for me. I loved the fact that they had movie night by the pool for the 'kids'. They offer a lot to do during the day and even have a children's day camp allowing some parents a little time off. While we enjoyed dinner at the resort, my favorite place is Zozo's especially for watching the sun set. And there is no way we can leave the island without a quick visit to Woody's for casual eats, drinks and simple fun. We're heading back in November and absolutely cannot wait!

A Big Disappointment

The Westin grounds are gorgeous. The service staff are friendly and eager to help. Now for the disappointment...we stayed in a 3 BR Pool Villa. The villa needs some work and is clearly dated. There is no bathroom door in one upstairs bedroom and no shower in the upstairs master bedroom. There was a dinner plate sized mold stain on the ceiling in one bedroom closet. We called management about it, but never received a response regarding our concern...even after repeated phone calls. We were unable to shut a window in the upstairs master bedroom. We received a letter on Monday afternoon about an electrical outage on Tuesday scheduled for 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and another letter Tuesday regarding another electrical outage for Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.. It stated it was for our safety, but was clearly due to construction on the hill. We were told there would be no compensation because we were notified, albeit just hours prior to the outage. So much for use of the kitchen, our private pool, and villa (too hot without the A/C which also was not functioning on another occasion). Additonally, we requested a highchair for our toddler the day we arrived. The highchair came WITHOUT a tray. They said none was available at the time and they would supply us with one when it became available. We were there for a week and no tray was ever made available to us. Who has a highchair without a tray? The kitchen was inadequately supplied...no spatulas, mixing bowls, dish cloth, soap for sink or dishwasher, etc. and no laundry basket in the laundry room. There were multiple light bulbs burned out in the villa when we arrived. The villa is dark to begin with because the enclosure around the private pool area was enclosed by palms. The beach is extremely weedy and apparently has an infestation of chiggers according to the bites I received on my legs. I did not receive a response from management even after repeated phone calls and attempts to make contact. Initially I was even given a wrong number for the villa CEO by a hotel manager. After failed phone call attempts, messages and no response, I finally emailed the CEO and received a response the night before we left. Needless to say, we never had the opportunity to talk and I am still waiting for a resolution. An added note...our young adults were bored silly because everything at the Westin shuts down at 6:00 or 9:00 p.m.. The workout facility closed at 9:00!
