That’s clever to put the younger crowd on one side and let each group have their fun! We’ve also had guests who had one side of the house with early risers and the others in sleep-in-late group! We love hosting and providing a warm, inviting and exceptionally clean space for families and friends to get together and make memories! Seeing visitors enjoy our town and have a fun and relaxing stay with us gives us immense joy! Unfortunately, we are disappointed that despite our best effort, this guest was hard to please. Guest checked themselves in hours before check in time and was upset that we had the audacity to host another family before them and were not ready for them earlier than 4 pm. They demanded earlier check in and were rude/yelled at the cleaning crew, rushed them to get done asap. Our cleaning crew works very hard and needs time to do their job, or as expected, they will miss things if asked to rush and be gone. We were personally there to clean the backyard after a night of heavy storms (including our 14 windows, and 2 sliding Glassdoors - it seems lie we missed one when rushed to leave) and get it ready for guests' stay. She told us that she had permission from the owners to check in early, which was a lie. We politely introduced ourselves which probably made her feel angry/embarrassed despite us reassuring her that it was ok, and probably a misunderstanding. Unfortunately, it seems like guest couldn't get past that initial hiccup. Guest insisted the hot tub had issues because 'thats not how hot tub at her house works'. She insisted the auxiliary jets should be under water, we politely explained otherwise. Also, we showed her the water was not cloudy - it was the micro bubbles from the powerful jets that made it look frothy. We stopped all jets and sure enough when the water settled, she saw it was crystal clear. To this she said 'thats not how my hot tub at home works'. We drained and serviced the hot tub to make sure she felt comfortable and taken care of. Back ups of batteries, knobs, light bulbs etc are all available at house for guests if needed!
