The house is beautiful, spacious and well stocked. It was a great week for our family reunion. It was terrific having a large gathering area for our large family. The drive way is a bit of a challenge if you have multiple vehicles but certainly not a deal breaker. Thanks for a great week!

This was our second stay with my large family. We had kids of various ages and adults. The home is comfortable and the garage has basically everything you need including life jackets. The kids played and silverware is a nice touch and also the high chairs were appreciated. We enjoyed the hot tub and water filling station so we used less plastic bottles. The refrigerator is huge and the grill was amazing!

House was fully stocked with everything needed. The kitchen had everything needed for prep, cooking, serving and clean up...loved the double dishwashers. large refrigerator snd freezer, and four readily accessible garbage cans. Host was the best we have ever worked with; service was impeccable. It was a very enjoyable stay!!!

Beautiful home and it fit our family of 27. I wouldn't push the occupancy more than that. Most of the beds are double beds which aren't big enough for 2 adults, but 2 kids maybe. Wide open meeting area, but did tend to make things a little loud. The deck space was perfect with a beautiful view. The bedrooms were great, wish there was more bathroom space, but we made do. Also, suggest to make sure there is an adaquate about of supplies like toilet paper. The house required a minimum of 4 nights, a backup roll of TP per bathroom and 3 extra rolls in the half bath didn't cut with 27 people. Instead of calling the host we just stopped off at the store since we needing other things. We loved the provided smores and enjoyed them. That was a lovely treat. The driveway was tricky and very steep, but not a deal breaker we figured it out. Thanks for the lovely stay.

Great House for a Family Getaway

The house is great. Plenty of room for large groups. We spent one day sledding and 2 days cross country skiing. Hot tub was fun while it was snowing. Great theater room for gaming and movies. We would definitely stay here again.

The house is gorgeous! The view was spectacular! The house was very clean, very well-equipped and could easily handle our large crowd of 35. It was well-thought out with fun lofts, almost hidden nooks, and extra equipment, such as bikes and lake equipment, for our use. The owner was very responsive to our questions, and it was conveniently located. It was everything we hoped it would be and more. Our time there will be a treasured memory for our whole family.

Kylene, Thank you for your review. I have stayed in many rentals. From my experience, most of them have the same requests. The only thing out of the normal would be washing and putting away the beach towels. If you would rather not worry about them, we offer adding $50 to the cleaning fee. We could just add this automatically but thought it might be nice to have the choice to save the money. We always take the towels straight to the wash and fold them the night before when my family comes or you have the option to bring beach towels and not worry about them. Here are our other check out instructions: start dishwasher, empty garbages, broom sweep and run a load of white towels and move to the dryer. For the first time in seven years we were charged $300 extra from the cleaner after your stay after none of these were done. I would personally rather do a few things and save the money. I understand it is hard to get out the door early-we do the exact same thing when we come with our own cleaners! We will make sure we add it as an option to add the extra time for cleaning for the extra cost because it may be appealing to some families just to leave and it would be beneficial for our cleaners to plan for extra staff and time ahead of time.

Iso-lake-tion Family Vacation 2020

We've been coming to Bear Lake since 2003 for our family vacation. The Boat House is by far the best property we have stayed in. Pluses: Plenty of open space, lots of hot water, theater room, kitchen well stocked, high quality linens and towels and much, much more. Host could not have been more responsive. We'll be back.

Perfect Reunion House!

No one can stop raving about this place. Every person in every age group had an absolutely wonderful time. The deck and view were the absolute favorites, not to mention the amazing kitchen, living room, gathering areas, movie theater - we loved it all! We would do this every year. I can't say enough good about it.

Bear Lake 2025

This is such a beautiful home with plenty of room for everything. The double washers, dryers and dishwashers make such a difference. We had two babies under the age of one and several other young kids. Everyone loved this space. There was plenty of room for crafts and still had room for meals and food. We loved this property and can't wait to come back again next year. The nights on the deck were so beautiful. We really enjoyed all the outdoor furniture and being able to enjoy the sunsets. Bear Lake is mesmerizing!

Amazing house!!

We loved our stay at the Boat House! Beautiful views, plenty of space for everyone. We had 36 people (kids and adults) in our group and never felt cramped. The kitchen was amazing and easily accommodated cooking for such a large group. The two dishwashers made clean up a breeze. All of the extras that came with the house were wonderful. The owner was wonderful to work with and was always quick to respond to any of our questions. We look forward to staying again!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Boat House. It was roomy, and our favorite area was the big open kitchen, family room, and balcony. It is one great big open area, and the view is amazing! When we were at home, this was the area we used the most, playing games, visiting with each other, and enjoying time together. The Boat House had all the games we needed, from cornhole on the balcony to toys and safety gear for the lake and pool. (The outside shower area to clean up before going in the house was not working at the time for us and would have been a great help to keep more sand outside, but our kids did a good job taking shoes off and shaking towels out before going inside!) Speaking of towels - the host has supplied the beach towels, which were a HUGE help as our family came in from all over and we did not have to pack beach towels for 30 people! The Kitchen was stocked with a decent number of extras, including basic spices and more, as well as all the tools needed for cooking. (including an Instant Pot!!) We even used the blender and made homemade raspberry jam for the week. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, and the kids LOVED the slide from the main level to the bottom level. The steep S-curve drive was really the only tricky piece to the property, at times moving cars in and out/up and down to use the cars needed for the day, but we were able to manage it with 7 cars just fine. All in All - very happy with our stay! Hope you enjoy the Boat House like we did!

Beautiful home!

The home is open and well planned, lots of room, great kitchen that is easy to work in with many other people. Huge fridge, and good second fridge. Lots of table space for meals. It accommodates many and has such a wonderful view of the lake. I love the home! The driveway is a bit of a challenge, as I read in other reviews, but it is okay, and we still fit our seven cars with a bit of effort. There were a few things we needed to contact the host about and she responded quickly and took care of them. It’s one I would rent again.

The BEST vacation home for our family!!

We had 15 of us and this house is AMAZING!! It’s so clean and beautiful, has tons of room for everyone to have their own space, super well stocked, and so much to do at the house! The theatre room was awesome and the kids enjoyed the games and just playing on the deck. The view from the house is spectacular! The check in and check out is easy and Brooke is very very nice and very prompt in responding. She’s excellent to work with! Having two ovens, two fridges, two washers and dryers, four kitchen garbages, two drinking fountains, etc. was perfect!! I can’t say enough about how wonderful this house was! The only thing I would change if I could was the driveway. It’s a challenge for larger vehicles. But, a perfect home! Thank you, Brooke! We loved our stay!

Summer vacation home

Such a beautiful home. The driveway was not the most ideal place to park. We had 6 cars parked and we all had to move our cars to get a single car out. When we got there, the hot tub had not been cleaned and it didn’t work because the water wasn’t high enough for the jets to work. I got in contact with the owner and she promptly sent over someone to clean it. She waived the hot tub cleaning fee. We couldn’t find the meat thermometer so we asked the owner where it was and she called the local store and had one ready for pick up within the hour. Great communication with owner. We would rent from her again.

5-Class Living!!!

This property is better than the pictures! Our 30-member family was stunned with the open space and cleanliness of this property! The kitchen was incredible with the extra garbage cans and 2 dishwashers. The refrigerator was huge, with an extra fridge in the pantry. This is the quintessential lake house! All the windows and balcony showcase the beautiful lake. Indoors or outdoors, we were never too far from views of the lake. The cousins loved all the nooks and crannies and were thrilled for good spaces to play hide-and-go-seek! The theatre room and 3 large booths (kitchen tables) were favorites for the teenagers. The property was extremely well stocked with beach equipment. Our time at the beach was spent digging in the sand with sand toys, paddling with the paddle boards, and relaxing under the pop-up tent with the lawn chairs. The time was absolutely priceless - in large part due to the stellar accommodations!

Perfect for our family reunion

When we pulled up to the home, it was clear we had made an excellent decision for the location of our family reunion at Bear Lake, Utah. The home was clean and functional, the bedrooms were spacious and everyone was thrilled to have their own beds and space. Our favorite part of the entire house was the kitchen! Hello booth seating! This is what set this house apart from all others I looked at. There was a seat at a table for EVERY SINGLE person (a group of 26 people)! Brilliant. All of the amenities were enjoyed, the huge deck overlooking the lake, the slide from deck to lower level, the game area, the theater room. The location was wonderful, a bit high on the hill but that made for better views, we were even able to park 7 cars in the driveway with some clever maneuvering. Literally everything was provided from kitchen wares to beach chairs. I can’t recommend this home more, it was PERFECT. Thank you to the owners for sharing your lovely home.

Incredible!

This was a truly lovely place. A rare intersection of beauty and function. We had a full house- 33 people total, half adults, half children. We had a blast. The best memories were made on the back deck. The view is stunning and peaceful, you find yourself gravitating to that spot of the house constantly. The kitchen and dining areas were incredible. So much space, so much function, lots of natural light, beautiful design. We cooked most of our meals at home, and there was plenty of room for all the food we packed in. The children loved playing on the water pad at the lake. They enjoyed the hot tub, ping pong, slide and theatre as well. The driveway was a bit intimidating at first but we quickly figured it out. The house can get a bit loud because the entire thing is wood floored from top to bottom, but that adds to the beauty and cleanliness. If this were my property I don’t know that I would be so generous as to share it with strangers. Thank you to Brooke for hosting us, and for going the extra mile. She was helpful, quick to respond, and kind. We hope to stay here again. We are missing the view already!
