Host communication was great. We really liked the unit, it was much bigger than I expected and very clean and updated. The lanai was amazing and so spacious. Really appreciated all of the "extras" that were available - snorkel gear, umbrella, beach chairs, body boards, cooler, etc. I really liked the location of the condo (short walk to the beach) and close to other great spots in Poipu. My only complaint was the lack of AC - this may have been disclosed when I booked but I missed it. There were lots of fans provided which was helpful, but we were there when it was pretty warm even at night.

Nice and quiet location. The condo has everything you need including beach gear. Pool is big, or you can walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Spring Break

Stayed for 6 days with our 3 college kids for spring break. Condo was perfect sized for our family of 5. Great location with beautiful views. Can’t wait to return!

Great location. Roomy and well stocked.

Great location. Lots of room for our family of 6. Kitchen is well stocked and we cooked all our meals at home. The large patio was used all day: reading, lounging and eating. Fully equipped with beach chairs, umbrella and cooler is a plus.

Quiet and relaxing

10 days with family. 2 bedrooms provide nice separation. Large oven view balcony. Smaller resort so pool area was not busy at all. Great location and have stayed at this resort before. Plan on coming back next Fall.

Beautiful outdoor view, great interior space

Clean place with nice interior that feels livable, unlike most condos which are stripped bare. Plenty of kitchen ware for cooking and dining, good sleeping and sitting accommodations, and welcoming interior view. Excellent view of ocean in well-kept area of Poipu. Most certainly recommend this place and the team who service it. Thank you.

Family vacation

The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. We greatly appreciated the shampoo, soap, tea and coffee upon arrival. The condo’s decor was beautiful and updated. The beds were comfortable and we loved listening to the ocean as we fell asleep. The overall property was very family orientated with plenty of outdoor space if needed. We used all the beach items and loved completing a puzzle during the night. When we come back to Kauai we will try to book the same space. Thank you for creating a wonderful home away from home.

No surprises. Exactly what you see in the photos. I would say even better! Short walk to the beach. Great location. Clean. The washer didn’t work while we were there and the management company quickly offered laundry service! Amazing experience. Will come back here again.

Kauai Family Vacation

We absolutely loved the Poipu Sands resort and our condo. We have stayed at many VRBO properties over the years and our condo exceeded our expectations in every way. The resort was perfect. Close to Poipu beach but just away from the hustle and bustle. The pool was bigger and better than it looked in the pictures. We had a great view of the ocean off our Lanai with a nice grassy field to keep us separated from the Hilton. The unit itself was bigger than it looked in the pictures and had a great layout for families. Bonus was use of the snorkel, boogie boards, beach chairs, and umbrellas. We had bought snorkel gear then kept it in the packaging and returned it after our trip.

Great south Kauai place for a family

The place was perfect for our family of 6. The unit was clean and spacious. Each room had ceiling fans and floor fans were available (no AC but most places don’t have it). The place was very quiet at night except for the crashing waves. The place was stocked with everything we needed for a 5 day stay and anything needed for a day at the beach (towels, umbrella, snorkeling gear, beach toys for smaller kids, chairs, mats, boogie boards and even a cooler!). There are a few markets nearby to pick up food and drinks for your stay. There’s a selection of local restaurants but most of our meals were homecooked or on the road while we were out and about. The pool was large with alot chairs and umbrellas. The location in Koloa (adjacent to Poipu) was very walkable to Shipwreck Beach and just a quick two minute drive to Poipu Beach Park. The place was clean and had a great view of the ocean, grass area and pool from the balcony (its a second floor unit). The pictures were very accurate to what you get. Yes, Koloa/ Poipu is a lot quieter/slower than Waikiki (where we stayed for the first part of the vacation), but we couldn’t complain - we were on vacation! We had the car and were able to get around the island quite easily. Also, the airport was only 30 mins away. The only very minor issues we had were addressed quickly. The TV needs to be replaced as we had to adjust its picture settings as best as we could to make it watchable. All said, we’ll back very soon! Mahalo

Beware if you want a great vacation

The Poipu Sands 324 unit was woefully overrated. The furniture was stuffed with feathers which constantly poked out and shed and was very uncomfortable. The “jacuzzi” in the bathroom wasn’t big enough to accommodate anyone over 4 ft tall. The sliding doors and screens don’t lock and are rusty, very noisy and hard to slide. The beds were uncomfortable and needed a ladder to get into. The worst problem was the unbelievable lack of Internet!!!! Out of every 24 hrs we were able to sneak in maybe an hour total after rebooting 7-12 times a day. We reported the problem immediately and repeatedly. A man showed up 14 hrs before we left and told us there was nothing he could do and Spectrum would have ti fix it. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO BE ABLE TO CONNECT WITH THE WORLD, DON’T COUNT ON THIS UNIT!!!!!!! 12 days of total frustration!! No phones in the unit so it was pretty damn hard to contact them for help without Internet. The louvred windows did not adjust in this un air conditioned unit so air flow is compromised. The washer was old and didn’t work properly. Nothing done about noisy upstairs people emptying coolers on their lanai that soaked us below. Super dangerous (and I suspect illegal) pool gates that require a key to get in AND out??? Really ruined our Kauai experience. Will NOT ever book a Parrish property ever again!!

Aloha Debi. The internet was not reported to us until March 9th, six nights into your stay. We came that day and replaced the router and rebooted the system. Each time our team ran tests, it was working. Spectrum also saw no disruption when we reached out to them for assistance. The resolution required us to schedule Spectrum tech to come and assess. We tried our best to resolve it during your stay but we were unable to obtaine a Spectrum appointment. We are also sorry that the upstairs neighbors did not respect condo living. The Poipu Kai Association is responsible for the pool gates and fencing. We did not know that you were having trouble with the sliding doors or the louvered windows. If we had known, we would have addressed these concerns any of the times we came to help with your internet. We will be sure to have a look at the sliders and screens and make the necessary adjustments and repairs. We understand that it can be frustrating to deal with internet issues on your vacation, but we really did try our best and we are sorry that we could not resolve it for you.

Great property that had everything we needed. Description says pull out queen sofa…however it is not. Sofa sleeps one. Location and view were incredible.
