Dewey's Cabin er et to soveværelser, et bad, meget aflukket kabine med en fantastisk udsigt over Point Peter Mountain og kun to miles fra Buffalo River.

Vær opmærksom på: Lejere skal medbringe eget sengetøj og håndklæder. Sådan holder vi vores priser lave og overkommelige for vores kunder. Også, er kabinen afsondret med smuk udsigt over bjergene, men der er 5 miles af grusvej for at nå i kabinen. Vi anbefaler at medbringe atruck eller SUV.

Manes Bluff Cabins er perfekte til ridning, vandrere eller enhver, der leder efter et naturskønt ophold væk fra byen. Hytterne ligger ved Buffalo Nation-floden og ligger 4 km fra Snowball og ligger ca. 300 meter fra Dave Manes Bluff-udkig på Buffalo River Trail i Ozark Mountains. Margaret White er en favorit og smuk flod i nærheden. Uanset om du elsker jagt, fiskeri, eller observere dyrelivet dette sted har det hele, 33 tønder land omgivet af parken jord.

Dette sted er også vidunderligt for alle, der er interesseret i historie, da den afdøde ejer Dewey Dill brugte tid på at gøre moonshine i skolebussen kløgt skjult (begravet) bag kabinen.

Point Peter Mountain er synlig ud fra verandaen til Dewey s Cabin, og indkørslen til kabinen er præget af en smuk gammel stald bygget i 1938.

This is a fairly bare bones cabin literally in the middle of nowhere; if that is what you are looking for you will love it. Absolutely beautiful area. Make sure you bring everything you need because there is not easy access to anything besides nature out there.

Was an excellent stay, very secluded and peaceful. It’s a very charming cabin, and I have to say; we loved the countertops. The walk down to the swimming hole is perfect, beautiful overlook off of the BRT that includes a river view, bluffs, and surrounding natural beauty of Arkansas. It’s well worth the stay, and perfect for a secluded getaway with a small family. We appreciate you letting us stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time.

This is a rustic cabin way out on the mountain top where there is total peace and quiet. Everything was comfortable, including the bed. Beautiful location! I could photograph the Milky Way by just walking out the front door! I did try to adjust the AC once, but couldn't get it to adjust (maybe that was just me). Dewey's Cabin had everything I needed. The road to the cabin can be rough, especially in wet weather, but my AWD with high clearance made it just fine. Lots of places on the Buffalo to visit around this area, so this is a great location for outdoor adventures and hiking. The Host, Megan, was nice and really easy to work with. I had a great stay!

Fabulous

This is our 3rd year staying at this cabin and it gets better each year. We love the rustic feel and how much beautiful space you have. You are truly out in nature and to yourself. We also love the drive to the cabin. We roll down the windows and the kids stick their heads out. It feels like a drive/hike through a jungle. Absolutely gorgeous. We always go to Margarette white and swim and picnic. Amazing that we have our own, always the only people there, bluff and portion of the buffalo river. The owner is always responsive and was very kind to personally refund me a night when we had to cut our trip a night short about a month before our trip. We love this gem of a find. Glamping /cabin stay at its absolute best! We will be back!

Perfect

This was the perfect getaway for the holiday. The cabin is definitely secluded, which we loved and the scenery was breathtaking.

Quiet Bliss

Dewey‘s cabin is a wonderful secluded getaway from all the hustle and bustle. The roads in and out of the cabin are very narrow and rocky and for sure would want something that sits up higher or is four-wheel-drive. I wish we would’ve been able to see a little more wildlife while we were there but first night armadillo Join us by the campfire and just walked all around us while we were out there which we found so funny and cute. My only complaint if I had one would be the bed was not the most comfortable, but it was doable. Would definitely stay again.

Family fun

We had a great time at this cabin and the swimming hole was to die for! Hands down best vacation we have had so far! We had a great week of unplugging and getting away from everyone and everything with just our kiddos.

Isolated and dangerous

To start, the woman in charge was very helpful and answered promptly. The property however was very isolated, you must drive through an actual ghost town. There is no GPS 3/4 of the way up a very steep and dangerous drive through the raw woods with a sharp edged bottom filled with large rocks. If it rains you can be potentially stuck for hours until the water goes down. A small vehicle will not make this ascent. Pulled up to the property and there was a very ominous feeling upon stepping foot outside our vehicle. We did not stay the night, we tried to get through the feeling but left within 30 minutes of arriving. No cell service to speak of so could not contact anyone until you descend again. The pictures do not reflect the property. I am sorry I have nothing positive other than the communication leading up to the trip. I strongly recommend a 4x4 vehicle with good clearance and an appetite for seclusion.

Secluded and peaceful

Thus quite, peaceful, secluded cabin is just what we needed to recharge our batteries. We spent the day enjoying the beautiful weather and view. We even saw an elk come to the back of the cabin to graze. We will definitely be back to stay again, we will just stay longer next time.

Remote and Beautiful

We love this property! It was our second time to stay and we’ll be back. The drive up is gorgeous through canopies of trees. The cabin is rustic and makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The back field is so green. Each morning we moved the front chairs to the driveway and drank our coffee looking out at the fields and mountain. The beds were comfortable and nice hot water! I saw some mama turkeys and 10 baby turkeys one morning. We love this place!

Megan and Kevin Rea are the owners of Manes Bluff Cabins. We enjoy all that our rural home has to offer including hunting, fishing, and horseback riding.

This property is special with a unique history and secluded location. 5.6 miles off the main highway, this location gives opportunity to get away from it all. With no neighbors or traffic, the only sounds with be of Ozark Mountain wildlife and nature. The late owner, Dewey Dill, built the house and used the secluded location to work his moonshine business. There is a school bus cleverly hidden (buried) behind the cabin where Dewey hide his still. Take a trip into the history of the Ozark Mountains.

Nature lovers and hunters alike will enjoy this location. The town of Marshall nearby has one of the few remaining drive Inn movie theaters left in the United States today. The Kenda Drive Inn has great food and great people and makes for a fun and unique experience.
