Great stay

Enjoyed our stay, close to Mayo Clinic and shopping/restaurants. Our host was great and always available and responsive if we need anything (although we didn't, they had pretty much everything we needed there).

Beautiful home decorated very nice. Plenty of supplies and Chris called to check on us twice to make sure everything was ok. Definitely would stay again. We enjoyed our stay and it was very convenient getting to Mayo Clinic.

What a “Bella Casa”!

This house is conveniently located well kept and well stocked. Everything is very cleanly and supplied with kitchen tools and other provisions that you would need if you were going to stay a few days love staying here.

This house was very cute and had most of the amenities we needed for our 3.5 week stay. We cooked most of our meals in and had all the cooking supplies we needed. Furniture was comfortable and it was so nice to have enough room for us to have our own spaces.The location was ideal for a walk downtown to shops, restaurants, and the main Mayo Campus. It is also less than a 10 minute ride to the St. Mary’s campus.Our host was easy to communicate with and checked in a few times during our stay.

Perfect home base

The house was a great respite between appointments at Mayo. The location couldn’t be beat and the house had great charm and coziness for relaxation. Out host was very responsive and made us feel at home.

Cozy & Comfortable

My daughter and I stayed for 6 days during her visit to the Mayo Clinic. The home is very comfortable and convenient location to the clinic. Bedding and furniture very comfortable. I would definitely stay again!

MN visit

This is the 4th time we have used VRBO to rent properties and Casa Bella was a great place. Good location within walking distance of the downtown area, exceptionally clean and comfortable to stay at. Only recommendation is to add a few more coffee cups to the available dishes.

Everything was fantastic. I was in town for the Mayo Clinic. We were able to walk to appointments everyday, and walk back to the house to take a rest in the down time. The neighborhood has tons of restaurants and the kitchen is very well set up. The rooms are clean and well decorated. It’s a cute house with great original features that have been well maintained. It made what could be an arduous trip to the hospital incredibly manageable and even pleasant

A healing stay

We had a wonderful stay at this home! It felt like being at home. We were very close to Mayo like we needed to be. The house was so clean and nicely decorated! Our host was very kind and accommodating. We definitely would stay here again if we need to be in Rochester!! Thank you so much Christopher!!

Dated but cozy!

Chris was very responsive and always had an open line of communication with us. The house was a little dated and creaky, but insanely charming and cozy! The only thing I will note (and may have missed in the listing) is the AC for the house is just two window units upstairs, but it still remained nice and cool throughout the house while we were there and did not cause us any issues!

We will certainly come back to Bella Casa! We loved having three bedrooms. Everything you need to cook with. Very clean and cozy. Our host made everything super easy! Cute back yard and beautiful windows! We had such a great and relaxing time in this precious home!

Comfortable and convenient to Mayo Clinic.

Comfortable older home within blocks of Mayo Clinic. The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. Window air conditioning kept us cool during a hot spell. Chris was very accommodating and helpful.

Ok but not central A/C

This is a super cute house full of antique charm, BUT it states in the listing that it has a/c. There are TWO window units and three bedrooms. This is not enough to cool the sleeping areas. Plus, if you're not used to a window unit they are LOUD. It was difficult for all of us to sleep there. It was so hot outside the window a/c units ran non-stop and again, only two bedrooms were cooled. Otherwise, the kitchen is fully stocked. The house is clean. The neighborhood is not too bad, but you are close to a local bar.

Great historic home near the Mayo Clinic

This was a clean, well stocked, beautiful old home. My wife and I had appointments at the Mayo Clinic for the week and staying here vs a Mayo area hotel was a game changer for us. Grabbed our groceries the first day and didn’t have to go out to eat. Kitchen had everything that we needed. Mayo was walking distance but we found it easier to get a 5 day pass and drive right down the road. Multiple appointments walking would have been too much for us to go back and forth. Check in was easy and well explained as well as check out. Host is amazing. I will definitely look to book again for future Mayo appointments.

perfect for our stay

This house was in a wonderful location for our appointments in the Mayo Clinic buildings. It was also very convenient for restaurants (there are a few things within easy walking distance, such as a Dairy Queen). We had 4 adults and 1 child, and it was so nice to have the living and dining rooms. There is no dishwasher, but we didn't really cook, so it wasn't a big deal to hand wash our breakfast bowls and cups. The only thing I would warn people about is the creaky floors. We all went to bed at about the same time, but if your group does not, you could be kept awake just from the loud floors! That being said, I did sleep surprisingly well in the pictured bedroom.

This is the first we have had someone comment on that as a detriment to the home. But we can surely understand that would be frustrating if it was disrupting your sleep. Unfortunately, I am not sure this is an issue we can address for future guests, as the home is over 100 years old. In fact, many guests have commented on the charm of the wood floors. Casa Bella is named after our oldest daughter who was an answer to prayer for my wife and I. We decided to name it after her because of how charming this house is. This home is over 100 years old. For that reason, this home has all of the charms of an old home with some modern touches in decor. The property is super cozy and perfect for a home away from home stay. We provide 3 super comfy queen beds in each of the bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own style and decor.
We have tried to provide all of the amenities that would make a visitor feel at home. We strive to make ourselves available to any questions or needs that our guests may have.
