Ferie på dette luksuriøse bjerg hjem vil få dig til at bestille dit returbesøg, før du endda forlader!  Beliggende i det ønskelige Castle Glen kvarter, har denne hytte log-accenter, high end-finish, flere pejse, et poolbord og masser af muligheder for underholdning og afslapning.

Denne kabine på flere niveauer byder dig velkommen på indgangsniveauet, der består af stue, køkken og spisestue.  Saml omkring pejsen og del historier om gamle og nye i stuen med smart TV.  Køkkenet ligger kun få skridt væk og er på lager og klar til kokken i familien.  Madlavning vil være en leg med en gaskomfur, dobbeltvæggeovn, mikroovn, to håndvaske, kaffekande og rigelig diskplads.  Siddemuligheder på spisebordet til 8 og log morgenbaren holder alle sammen.  Lige ud for køkkenet er der et lille dæk med trækulgrill til al din grillning med bord og stole til at nyde din morgenkaffe.

Det øverste niveau spillerum er perfekt til at samle med en våd bar, poolbord, L-sofa, tv med kabel, brændeovn og lille forreste dæk. Et lille opholdsstue med udsigt over stuen nedenunder og spillehal er det perfekte sted at krølle op med din yndlingsbog.  Det øverste niveau indeholder også tre soveværelser.  Det første soveværelse har en konge seng, smart tv og loft ventilator.  Det andet soveværelse har en kingsize seng, smart TV, loft ventilator og adgang til et bagdæk.  Det tredje soveværelse har en queensize-seng, tvilling over fuld køje, tv med dvd-afspiller og adgang til bagdækket.

Det lavere niveau har en 1/2 badeværelse, garage adgang, vaskerum og misundelsesværdige master suite.  Føreren har en kingsize seng, smart tv og eget badeværelse med gas pejs, der adskiller rummet og kan nydes fra karret.  Et bad, dobbelt håndvask og separat toilet fuldender badeværelset.  For ekstra afslapning gå ud til den private dæk og nyd i boblebadet med udsigt over søen, bjergene og træerne.

Falsely advertised and filthy

This cabin was advertised as having four showers, it does not. Much of the furniture both indoor and outdoor was broken. The property management company did a terrible job in keeping this cabin clean. I would not recommend booking this cabin.

Not quite as described…

Beware, there are only 3.5 baths, not 4. The hot tub probably hasn’t worked in years and not not disclosed as inoperable prior to arrival and then only when I called. There is no high chair although they were really not ce about delivering one. Some spider webs and showing some wear and tear throughout. Many of plugs in the kitchen don’t work.

Great, but not as nice as the pictures

Our stay was amazing because it was my closest friends and family celebrating my 30th bday. However, the house is not nearly as nice on the outside as the pictures. Fading paint, missing shingles, dirty windows, cob webs on all the outdoor lights, dirty jacuzzi, etc. I will say it’s an awesome location and the neighborhood was gorgeous but close together. The inside was nice and spacious, but it was the little things that frustrated our group. Dirty dishes because renters are required to clean them, stained carpets, the pullout sofa was broken prompting us to have to have adults share a room with a bunk bed, and the internet was spotty at best. Not huge things but little details that added up - especially when the company asks you to check in late and leave early (mid trip) so they can “clean” more. Communication with the rental company was some sort of automated text service that kept sending the same messages over and over. Nobody ever called to politely ask if we could leave earlier for cleaning, they just sent a text. People did respond to my texts back, but they couldn’t receive picture messages of the details above so it didn’t matter much. They also sent us a WARNING email prior to check in that if we made a noise outside past 10pm that we would be fined - not really a fun message to receive, seemed more like a threat than a professional question of courtesy. Overall, for the amount we paid, I’d say we expected a little more for our money. But we did have a great weekend taking a boat out on the water.

This is not what we like to hear from our tenants, and not up to our standards. We will make note of the home not being properly cleaned and address it right away with our cleaning staff. We appreciate you addressing this. We apologize that the jacuzzi was not properly cleaned when you arrived. This is an amenity that we ask our vendors to address before the check-in and apologize again that it was not done in time. We appreciate you reporting this to us during your stay so that we could get a vendor out to address the issue. Unfortunately, phone lines are super busy most of the time so we prefer to text tenants. Hope you understand our policy. We are trying to make our system better. Castle Glen Lodge

Overall, a spacious cabin in a great neighborhood; slightly outdated and in need of some much needed maintenance (the igniter for the stove didn’t work, the furnace on the bottom floor wouldn’t turn on, faucet in the upstairs shower broke, there was lots of trash outside, etc.). The biggest complaint was on the exterior of the house which is dire need of some wood repair and a massive paint job. The hot tub was old but nice and had a great view. Pool table was fun. Beds were comfortable. Would stay again only if nearby locations were taken.

Beautiful & Accommodating!

Fabulous home! It accommodated our family just perfectly. Everything was well stocked, worked perfectly, and very clean. The neighborhood / community is gorgeous with breathtaking views and in very close proximity to grocery stores, etc. I cannot wait to go back. My family and I had a wonderful time -- cannot wait to go back!

Good Property, terrible property management company.

This property is managed by Destination Big Bear. While y the property is very nice, the communication by the property management company was not. Their arrival instructions failed to include the property address or mention that check-in is at the property management office. I found the address using Google maps and the picture of the front of the house on VRBO. We didn’t know we had to go to the property management office until I called a half hour before arrival asking for the lockbox code. I then had to ask them to give me the property management address. By the time we got to the office our infant child was in meltdown mode from the extended time in the car and our dogs were restless. I was the only guest at the office upon arrival. I was greeted by one worker on the phone who asked me to wait while he finished his call. 10 minutes later he was done. Then I said “No big deal but the instructions didn’t say anything about coming here.” His response - “That’s okay”.... Then he texted me a link to the check-in contract and upon completion gave me the lock-box code. So there was no real need for us to go to the office. Additionally, the terms of conditions that needed to be signed were different than what is advertised ahead of time. For example, ahead of time it lists quiet hours as 10pm to 7AM. The contract you have to sign on arrival says 9pm to 8am. Very frustrating communication and meaningless hoops to jump through.

For the recieving instruction check in at our office at 41922 Fox Farm Rd, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. You are required to have an ID that matches the name on the booking. Primary renter/tenant is defined as the person reserving and paying for the security deposit/rental fees and is responsible for all guests staying at the property during their stay. Tenant need must be present the entire stay and ID is verified to receive key information upon check-in. moreover, the company got the authority to change terms and conditions. Amazing weekend stay!

This place was perfect for our weekend getaway! The house has a really nice open floor plan which was great for our party of 8. There was plenty of space for everyone and the location was perfect. The house could have used a little more cleaning and the excessive emails/texts from the property manager about noise warnings (I probably was sent 4 messages) were a little obnoxious, but we would come back for sure!

Great place

Loved the house. Had a great weekend. Only small annoyance was that the key box wasn’t placed in an obvious location and the booking office didn’t know where it was so it took a bit of a search.
