The Belle Oaks

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Belle Oaks home was beautiful and clean to say the least. The house had cups, plates, bowls, cutlery, pots and pans, and even had some food seasonings. The house smelled clean, even when you laid down to sleep, the beds gave a freshly washed smell to the blankets and sheets, and the beds were so comfortable that you'd fall into a deep sleep immediately. The house had mostly all essentials needed for the stay for a few days. We also enjoyed the pool almost everyday during our stay and even grilled some food a few days and enjoyed the weather while eating outside by the pool. We enjoyed using the lake and all it's amenities (paddle board, kayaks, play area for the kids, and mini golf. We went to the Log Country Cove office and were greeted by office staff who was super nice. During our stay we noticed a venue on the property which had an event (possibly a wedding) during our stay which showed this location has almost everything for your vacation and event needs. We enjoyed Log Country Cove so much that we will be coming back to enjoy another weekend stay.

Reviewer Comments: It was a great time- The area was beautiful and the lake activities were planned for the holiday weekend were a hit with the kiddos.The cabin could have been cleaned a little better- many cob webs around the tv area in the living room and 2 spiders were found in the same area.(Living room TV wasnt working and while trying to figure it out the spiders were seen)

We also got ready here and the windows were perfect for makeup and hair lighting. The cherries on top were the pool and hot tub; perfect for pre-wedding relaxing!

Even tho the lake was closed there was plenty to do with our private pools and hot tub, volleyball, hiking, campfires etc. the cabins are beautiful and we can't wait to come back!!

Great Family Vacation

We canoed, hiked, rented a big boat for the whole family, played mini golf, lounged in our private pool and hot tub. Also close to caverns and wineries and other fun things to do. Relaxing time at the cabin

We loved how secluded this cabin felt, yet was so close to everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again, but would suggest a detailed cleaning inside and making sure locks on bathroom doors work.

Not the cabin for us

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Belle Oaks was okay. We have stayed at different cabins in the past this cabin is pretty small for 14 people. We only had 9 people and felt pretty crowded. The upstairs loft does not make for a space for children to play with all of the beds and the pool table. When we arrived the lawn had just been trimmed and the pool had a layer of clippings which we had to clean. There is not a playscape, outside kitchen prep area or pool toys as the pictures suggest, the hot tub did not work, the fireplace did not work, and the kitchen items were very dated and can use a refresh. We did not enjoy plastic coffee cups. The small upstairs bathroom has a freestanding shelf over the toilet which does not allow for the lid to open all the way and there is very little water pressure in the master shower. Our only other disappointment was the long walk on the main road to the amenities and water. This was really hard on little ones. Our family enjoyed being away together although we would just not choose this cabin again.
