Beautiful property on the water!

The location of this house was to die for! Views from the house and lanai to the water were fantastic. My dog really enjoyed the wildlife and other activity from the lanai. It certainly kept her amused, plus there were a lot of dogs on our street, and they were very friendly! We never met the property manager, she wasn’t able to meet us, so she gave us directions over the phone regarding check-in. The laundry light wasn’t working, and we called her because we entered from garage, and we couldn’t see well. She said someone would come and fix it,in a couple of days, which took 5 days to get fixed. The oven in the kitchen was filthy, and really disgusting,as was the bbq grill. My husband looked for a grill brush, but we couldn’t find one,so we had to go and buy one. He ended up cleaning the grill, and the kitchen oven also. A cleaning fee is charged with this rental, but I guess it doesn’t include the oven and grill. There was a dining room chair missing, and an outside chair for the lanai table, which only seated 3 people instead of 4. Dining room table seated 5 instead of six, and broken chair was out in the garage,under a pile of stuff. The air conditioner broke after the first week, but the property manager did have it repaired within 2 days. The house was nice, but it could use some sprucing up, especially the lanai around the pool. It needed a good power washing! The tv was difficult to watch, because the owner had a new cable system installed before we moved in. We weren’t able to get local channels, only could stream certain shows. After many days of phone calls to the owner, he installed another type of program, and then we could watch what we wanted. There were 3 TVs in the house but you couldn’t watch them simultaneously, but we ended up only watching the one in the family room. One of the TVs could only play Netflix programs. Other than that, the weather was fantastic for almost the whole month that we were there. The pool water was heated, and very relaxing.

Thank you for your review. We are so happy you loved the property and location of the Siesta waterfront. We are out of town owners who are able to use the property for a short while every year, and pride ourselves on giving our renters a care free month of relaxation when visiting, and you are correct in voicing some of your comments. We have a professional cleaning company which comes between all renters and do a good, thorough job, and your issue was brought to their attention and will not happen again. We have always checked in with renters during stay and asked us to bring any details to our attention so we can fix it promptly for them as well as the upcoming tenant, so we apologize for the oven and laundry light. We did not know, and tried to remedy them as soon as possible with our maintenance company. A brand new AC unit was installed this past summer and had been working perfectly. When the problem arose, we quickly discovered there was a clogged drain line and was fixed promptly with no further issue. As far as the TV’s, we have 3 separate watching areas in kitchen, family room and master bedroom, and all 3 can be watched simultaneously with live TV as well as steaming. We sincerely apologize you had trouble logging in, as we sat on the phone trouble-shooting with you, and we know this can be frustrating. We did switch TV providers and did not have an issue with previous renter who was there for 3 months, but when this was brought to our attention, we tried to immediately install another cable service so you could get the local channels you wanted to watch during your stay. You did have an issue after we installed additional programming, but after 2 days of back and forth with us, you realized there was a loose cable cord, and your husband was able to tighten it and fix this without further problem. Despite the hiccups, we are happy you had a nice month and have brought issues to our attention we can focus on in the future and appreciate the 4 out of 5 star rating.

Great time

We had a great time and since it was our first time to SE it made it a very relaxing and enjoyable trip. any time we had a question or needed something he responded right away and solved for us.

Great family home

The property and grounds of this home are lovely. This home has a beautiful nursery and crib for our baby and a wonderful bunk bed/play room for our toddler girl, I haven’t found another house suitable for little ones as much as this one is! We’re so lucky to have found it for our 2month stay. The pool is very big and great for kids to play/ also the back yard is expansive and has plenty of areas for kids to explore and play. The house is stocked with paddle boards that my husband and daughter would go out in the mornings for a ride. The neighbors are all so friendly and charming. The interior of the house is also very open and spacious. The master bedroom has plenty of room. We’ve enjoyed our stay here!

Our Siest Key Stay

Stayed at this lovely home with my family this past April. Can’t say enough good things about it. Home and grounds were well kept and beautifully situated. There are all the amenities you would need for a relaxing enjoyable worry-free vacation. Plenty of room for all ,we are a family of 6 , beautiful large pool. Neighborhood and neighbors were all very nice and pleasant to converse with. Owners were very attentive and easy to communicate with when we had any questions. Beaches are near by and gorgeous, definitely take advantage of. Siesta Key Village is also close by and full of restaurants and shops to accommodate all, set some time aside to enjoy it. Rental shops Supermarkets and other stores are all a short drive away. We had a great time. Loved being in this home and will definitely be returning in the near future. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy!!

Location location location

Don’t let the short description fool you. The house is very spacious, and the lot is even better. Great, quiet corner lot with wonderful neighbors and incredible trees. More outdoor space than you can ever enjoy. The pool is large, deep, and wonderful for when you want a break from the beach. Inside, the layout provides ample privacy for groups, yet plenty of spaces to gather and enjoy time together. Whether ordering in or cooking yourself, the toughest decision will be to either eat inside or outside.
