After spending an exhilarating day hiking Old Man’s Cave and Cedar Falls, come back and unwind at this cozy, secluded cabin filled with luxurious amenities. The cabin boasts 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a twin-over-full bunk bed in the finished basement. Prepare a bite to eat in the fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, cozy up to the fire to watch the big game or head down to the rec room for family game night! Want to take the relaxation outside? Take a dip in the hot tub, relax around the outdoor fire pit or simply take a seat on the wrap around porch!

However you choose to spend your getaway in Hocking Hills, Whitetail Pines will provide just the escape you’ve been looking for!

The cabin was so beautiful and cozy ! Super clean and stocked kitchen with everything you need . Very peaceful area and close to everywhere we wanted to go. Would come back and recommend to friends and family

House was 52 degrees Fahrenheit downstairs. Vents blew cold air. Host Courtney stated she would send a hvac tech. None showed. I messaged again and she stated it looked like temp going up. I immediately messaged that it had not started to heat, and did not change. I phoned the direct number for host that VRBO gave me. No return calls. She stopped messaging at 9pm. Unacceptable and unprofessional. The temp outside was 23. She did not offer to send electric heaters or for another place to stay for the night. It ended up taking 24 hrs to heat up to set temp on thermostat. Courtney stated that the furnace had run for four straight days non-stop, yet never had it serviced or notified us prior to our trip so we could have reserved a hotel room.Host was very quick to answer questions until there was an issue with the furnace not heating. Then she ghosted me until the next day. We checked in at 5pm. Slept in coats, gloves,scarves,and shoes underneath the blankets. At 9pm the temp inside had not risen 1 degree Fahrenheit.Plans of a relaxing evening was a disaster. We could not utilize the hot tub due to the frigid indoor conditions.The “fireplace” was holographic,little to no heat.Cleanliness was superficial. A clipped toenail was found in front of the sofa. A pill was found on the main floor bedroom that was identified as glipiside,a diabetic med that would be detrimental to a child if ingested. Balled up cobwebs hung from beams in main bedroom. Dust under end tables and bed.
The far left corner is how it’s “decorated for the holidays”. No lights or bulbs on the tree,either. Railing behind had cheap plastic garland. Again no lights. The property description was misleading.

We had a fantastic stay at Whitetail Pines. The cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which made it feel cozy and festive from the moment we arrived. It was incredibly clean and very well maintained. It was equipped with everything we needed for our stay and Courtney provided great information prior to check-in. We especially loved the hot tub—it was perfect for relaxing and added to the overall experience. The setting was peaceful and ideal for unwinding, and the holiday decorations made the stay feel extra special. Courtney was a wonderful host and very responsive throughout our stay. Overall, it was a fantastic place to enjoy a holiday getaway and we would love to stay here again!

This was an ok kitchen but couldn’t reach cabinets to put items in or take them out. No extra towels or extra dish rags. Fire pit was nice. Having a spa tub in one bathroom made it inconvenient for showering. Had to double up on bathrooms with showers. There were plenty of deer to see and location was private. Bathrooms didn’t have any counter space for curling iron etc.

Wonderful get-away for my wife and me and my two sisters and their husbands. Loved the firepit. The loft's king size bed was amazingly comfortable. Very nice kitchen. Clear instructions. Ample parking.

This property was definitely as presented- clean, very well stocked with all of our kitchen needs and linens, very spacious and comfortable. I would like to see a house number for easier identification from the street. We will enjoy coming back!

Absolutely loved our stay! The location was great. It’s close to all the beautiful trails and attractions in Hocking Hills, yet peaceful and secluded enough to truly relax. The home was clean and well-maintained, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Our host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to explore the area!

Beautiful house and property.loved staying here. It could use better lighting in the house, but it worked.Only downfall the kitchen cabinets and drawers were so full of mouse droppings, but we cleaned them and did not have any other issues.

It was difficult for some of us who wanted to stay up late because the loft bedroom was so open. The refrigerator took time to get food cold enough. We really enjoyed the decks and hot tub. It was a beautiful setting.

Relaxing birthday retreat

We had an amazing time with my family. It was very clean, welcoming and most of all relaxing. Courtney was very attentive. We are so lucky to be able to enjoy this property.

A Wonderful Time

The place was very clean and they had everything you need in a kitchen. The hot tube was great and very clean. The the early mornings we could see white tail deer just off the back porch. I will be back again.

Beautiful place

Cabin is beautiful, clean, and private. Everything as stated. And the experience of Hocking Hills is wonderful!As an fyi to future guests, there are no stores nearby, so pick up your supplies before you get to the area.

Nice little cabin!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The cabin was clean and well kept and had most everything you could need. I was disappointed to learn there was no washer and dryer, but that’s on me bc it was not in the listing; so just be aware of that. We definitely could have used more towels, especially for the hot tub, but again, it was suggested to bring towels and that was my oversight . Nothing against the rental company, they did a great job communicating. Just things to be aware of. Loved the gas fireplace and hot tub. We also enjoyed the fire pit a few nights and had great weather. We had 5-7 people there at different times and had plenty of space and were overall comfortable. The area was great for hiking and we were 15-25 minutes from trails, restaurants and large grocery stores. It was a nice little cabin and we loved the area!

Having both grown up in Ohio, we visited Hocking Hills many times in our youth and grew to love the peacefulness and tranquility the area offers, while still being close to the city. We wanted to share our love of the great outdoors with our children and provide them with a home-away-from-home to explore and let their curiosity run wild. Whitetail Pines is a relaxing retreat for our family in the beautiful Hocking Hills area and we hope you will love it as much as we do.
