Discover the best the region has to offer: its authenticity.
Enjoy a unique experience in the Luberon to discover the flavors, colors, light, and landscapes of Provence.
The Saint Paul estate in Viens is a Romanesque-style hamlet located 5 minutes from the village. Its castle, barn, sheepfold, two houses, and chapel make up this complex. The apartment is located on the second and top floor of the main building. It is accessible via a wide staircase. The view of the Luberon, the courtyard, and the pool is remarkable.
The apartment features a convenient entryway and a hallway with plenty of storage space. It has a fully equipped kitchen (stovetop, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, and all the necessary cookware), a Provençal-style living room, a television, and a 4-seater sofa with a chaise longue. The apartment has two bedrooms: one with three single beds, a sofa, and a closet; and another with a double bed, a desk, and a closet. We provide a fold-out crib for babies. The bathroom with toilet has a large shower and a beautiful view of the countryside. We provide a washing machine, a dryer, and an iron with ironing board.
You can enjoy a meal or relax in the shade of a mulberry tree in the courtyard, swim, or lounge by the large pool.
Included in the rental: towels and bed linens.
Beach towels are available for an additional fee (5 euros per person).
The Luberon National Park, designated an UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, is renowned for its diversity. It is home to a wide variety of animal and plant species. Some of the plants are, in fact, very rare. The Luberon is characterized by vast forests, aromatic garrigue scrublands, and fields of lavender, olive trees, and vineyards. The mountain ridges have long been home to herds of goats and sheep. Here, you can frequently spot roe deer, red deer, wild boars, and hares, as well as Mediterranean birds and more mountainous species.
Located between Avignon and Manosque, the region offers a wealth of cultural inspiration: Picasso in Ménerbe, the Marquis de Sade in Lacoste, Albert Camus in Lourmarin, and Jean Giono in Manosque.... You’ll also discover classical music and jazz concerts in the magnificent castles, chapels, and churches of the Luberon.
For a historical tour, you can visit the Luberon’s beautiful castles, abbeys, and hilltop villages. Numerous museums await you.
For a more active vacation, you can go hiking (on marked trails) and biking (on bike paths), play golf (in Villars), go horseback riding (in Céreste), try a tree-top adventure course (in Rustrel), canoeing (Ile-sur-Sorgue), strolls through the Ochre Cliffs of Provence (Rustrel and Roussillon), or enjoy the residence’s large swimming pool (13 m x 8 m). And finally, for a gourmet getaway, the restaurants of the Luberon will introduce you to the flavors of Provence.
The wild and peaceful Luberon awaits you. The crisp air, the bright sunlight, and the magnificent landscapes will fill you with a sense of intense joy at every moment.
