We have had an amazing time in the property. Francis was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble for him. He was very friendly and welcoming. The property was beautiful and spotless and had everything you could possibly need to make your holiday spectacular. We would most definitely like to return in the future.

The best pool we have ever had on a holiday! Huge and with an extremely well-equipped pool house with bathroom, bbq, fridge and bar area. The house is wonderful and Francis and Marie were there to show us where everything is. They are so helpful and have thought of everything you could possibly need for your holiday; coffee, condiments, bathroom supplies… everything. I cannot recommend this holiday home enough, it was perfect and we will be back!

Il est vrai que la plupart des vacanciers trouvent que le temps de leur séjour passe trop vite surtout avec l’ensoleillement que nous avons , ils profitent pleinement de l’exterieur Il est evident qu’ils passent essentiellement leur temps à la piscine ou au pool house qui leur donne la possibilité de faire leur cuisine en totalité et surtout des grillades Ce fut le cas pour cette famille adorable,respectueuse , bienveillante et trés propre Je les recommande sans aucune hésitation Francis

Francis (really great host, nice and friendly) had gone to a lot of trouble to think of everything, including some nice surprises. The pool house was great and, for us, the focal point of holiday, including most of the cooking. Pool was a great size, so you could actually swim, the garden really nice with plenty of shade (and self contained- so excellent for the dog!).

Absolutely Amazing, pet friendly property with everything you need for a fabulous holiday.The pool and pool house are superb, the best we have ever had in France. Francis was so kind and helpful with arrival gifts and mid week treats! The whole property and pool area are spotless and both areas have full catering facilities.You could literally spend all of your time at the property but if you do venture out, the nearby Brantome is so pretty and has lots of restaurants and things to do. There is an excellent boulangerie round the corner from the property and the supermarkets are only a short drive away. We had such a fantastic week here and would not hesitate to recommend Francis and his property. We hope to be back soon!

5/5 - Truly Outstanding Stay!We stayed at Francis and Marie’s beautiful home in the Dordogne Périgord region and had the most amazing time. Our group included grandparents, parents, and two small boys, and the property was absolutely perfect for all generations.The house itself is amazing and superbly well-equipped. Francis and Marie have literally thought of everything, leaving you wanting for nothing. Upon arrival, we were incredibly touched by their thoughtful gifts: six bottles of wine, ice creams in the freezer for everyone, and they even brought us fresh pastries for breakfast on the pool cleaning day!The property was spotlessly clean with crisp, fresh linen and towels galore. The pool area is equally amazing and exceptionally well-equipped with inflatables, a BBQ, an outdoor seating area, a microwave, and a coffee machine—you name it, it’s there. Our two boys absolutely loved it and were in the pool daily!Francis was always on hand morning, noon, and night should we need anything. You truly arrive as guests and leave as friends. This is an outstanding property and we cannot recommend it highly enough!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house, Francis was so welcoming. The house was better than it looked in the pictures and was very well equiped, including a choice of many luxury towels. It was close to a lovely bakery, in a great location. We spent most of the time by the fabulous pool. We will definitely return one day.

A great stay in Champagnac de Belair

we had a fantastic stay at this house. the facilities are excellent and an ideal place to spend sunny days by the pool. there is an excellent (although expensive) restaurant at the nearby hotel. Brantome is so close with many restaurants and shops. The kitchen is well kitted out and the hosts very generous.

This house felt like a hotel!

8 people (two families of four) have had the best week in this fantastic house. We have stayed at many houses in France and this was the best in a number of ways. Francis and Marie were so welcoming and generous and we were impressed with how equipped this house was. Great location, beautiful bakery over the road and we will more than likely return! Brantome was a pleasant surprise and a hidden gem in the Périgord!

We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful house in Brantome. The owner was very generous with providing wine, and provisions to start us off. I can definitely recommend this property.

Fantastic property near Brantome

We had a fantastic time. The villa is superbly well equipped and the swimming pool and outside kitchen area are amazing. Francis is an excellent host, really helpful and kind. The villa is near an excellent bakery and cheese shop, but equally you can be walking in beautiful countryside within minutes. Brantome is only minutes away for a supermarket and restaurants, and for canoeing on the River Dronne. We had a brilliant two weeks here and I highly recommend it.

Fabulous property - super holiday

We had a fantastic two weeks in this beautiful house near Brantôme.It was so well equipped - everything was provided. It was so comfortable in all rooms - really home from home.We were a party of seven with ages ranging from late seventies to a 19 year old.Pool was so well used as the temperature was extreme - 38 degrees most days.Francis the property owner is absolutely delightful and so kind, providing us with fresh croissants and pain au chocolate on two occasions.We thank him for making sure that our holiday was so perfect.Thank you Francis - you are a true gent.

Wonderful!

We had such a lovely, relaxing time at this property. The garden and pool are stunning and our teenagers really enjoyed the space and pool inflatables provided. Francis is a wonderful host, very friendly and generous, he made sure we had everything we needed and more. The house is charming, full of character and was very clean. Champagnac-de-Belair is an attractive, small village with a really good bakers that has recently moved to large, modern premises. Nearby Brantome is beautiful and we spent an afternoon canoeing which was great fun. Trying to get over the weirs was interesting and provided much amusement to passers by! Truly a great holiday, thank you.

What a fantastic time we had at this property. The house was immaculate with everything we needed for our stay. We spent most of our time at the pool house which had BBQ microwave cooker and fridge freezer as well as a shower and toilet so really no need to go in house which was perfect as my three young grandchildren rarely left the pool area. Within five minutes walk there is a patisserie and cheese shop and Brantome which is a short drive away has a supermarket and a choice of restaurants. On arrival we were greeted by Francis and Marie who could not have been anymore helpful our welcoming. Francis left croissants on Wednesdays when he came to clean the pool and both came to clean the house completely changing all linen half way through our stay. Francis was also there to wish us bon voyage and had a gift for each of our grandchildren what a lovely couple.

Fabulous Wow factor holiday home

The spacious house with its amazing pool and huge grounds are just perfect for a family/group holiday. Francis was a terrific host and extremely helpful and generous. The pool is enormous and immaculate which together with the pool house and its kitchen with all facilities provided everything we needed to have a fabulous holiday. The house is very well equipped, spacious, super clean and very comfortable. Lovely bathrooms too. In this little village there is a bakery just a short stroll away for daily fresh bread croissants etc and two supermarkets Carrefour and Aldi are just a short drive. Brantome is a beautiful town about. 10 mins drive. This property is highly recommended by the adults and children alike! Thank you Francis

A wonderful stay in the beautiful Dordogne

Condat-sur-Trincou is a lovely property with modern facilities and lots of room for a family holiday. The house is beautifully furnished and sufficiently large to allow adults and children to relax and enjoy the garden, pool and sunshine. The charming village of Champagnac-de-Belair and its boulangerie are an easy walk and Brantome and other places of interest are easy distances for a splendid lunch or dinner. Our hosts were wonderful, anticipating our needs as an extended family travelling with a young child - a cot and highchair were provided! They greeted us with wine, fruit and coffee which was very welcome after a long day of travel. Communications were excellent and we had no difficulties meeting and then accessing the property. A lot of information was provided on local activities and places of interests, which we took advantage of and greatly enjoyed. Nothing was left to chance - thank you Francis & Marie! One week was not enough and we definitely hope to return!

Thank you Francis!

My wife and I, our two grown up kids and their partners (plus two dogs) had a wonderful stay in Champagnac-de-Belair. Francis’ house is well appointed with everything you need and was very clean. The pool is probably the largest we’ve seen in several years of holidaying in the Dordogne and the dining area by the pool house became our favourite place for evening BBQ meals. 
The local area is beautiful. The river Dronne runs through the village and my kids found a place to play football/tennis/basketball. There is also a fantastic boulangerie which helped me fuel some long bike rides! Brantôme is only 10 minutes away and is very picturesque and offers some fantastic restaurants and local shops. Francis was super accommodating and a genuine pleasure to get to know. We may not be fluent in each others language but we connected so well. All the best Francis, we would love to return in the future.

Un réel plaisir d’avoir accueilli dans ma demeure Tim ,son épouse et leurs enfants Gentillesse, bienveillance.et d’une grande propreté font partie de leur très bonne éducation Ils ont profité pleinement de leurs vacances en ayant à leur disposition tout ce dont ils souhaitaient avoir pour profiter pleinement de leur séjour Je les recevrai de nouveau bien volontiers avec un très très grand plaisir Francis PS en ce qui concerne les étoiles mon évaluation est de 5 Étoiles Partout

Magnificent!!

First of all, Francis is a wonderful friendly host - very welcoming, attentive and generous. Thank you for the complimentary wine and the gift of fresh croissants one morning! The house is perfect for two families as we were, both with teenage children. There is a double bed and twin room downstairs with bathroom and separte toilet. Our friends were upstairs with their children so allowed plenty of space. The kitchen is well equipped with great fridge/freezer and cooking equipment, even a nespresso coffee machine. There is also washing machine and drier available to use. Some holiday rentals I have been to though, lists all this stuff but then nothing else. Francis ensured there was everything we needed such as coffee pods, milk, dishwasher tablets, toilet roll, laundry liquid, bbq coals, soap literally amazing makes it so welcoming! There is a really good fan in each room so we didnt really need air conditioning, the temperature of the house is fine if you keep the shutters closed at the hottest part of the day. The best part about the house is of course the massive swimming pool and the pool house with shower, toilet, kitchen and bbq. Again there is everything you need down by the pool, so put some beers and wine in the fridge, choose one of the many sun loungers and relax!! The area is very quiet other than the odd dog bark and it is a short walk to the bakery and the river. We visited caves and of course Brantome for restaurants and some kayaking - absolutely loved it!!

Tom et sa famille ont passé des vacances qui je pense ont été bien remplies .Riches en découvertes de la région avec des activités à proximité Ce fut des vacanciers très agréables, très sympathiques , respectueux et surtout avec une excellente éducation Je les recommande vivement Je les recevrai de nouveau avec un très grand plaisir Francis

Nous avons passé une semaine absolument exceptionnelle dans cette magnifique maison. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par notre hôte, qui s'est montré d'une grande gentillesse, disponible et attentif tout au long de notre séjour.La maison est spacieuse, parfaitement entretenue et d'une propreté irréprochable. Tout est pensé pour que l'on s'y sente immédiatement comme chez soi.Le véritable coup de cœur reste la superbe grande piscine, idéale pour se détendre et profiter pleinement des vacances. La cuisine extérieure, située juste à côté, est un vrai plus : très pratique, conviviale et parfaite pour partager les repas en famille ou entre amis sans quitter l'espace piscine.Nous repartons avec de merveilleux souvenirs et recommandons cette location à 100 %. C'est une adresse que nous garderons précieusement et où nous reviendrons avec un immense plaisir. Un grand merci à notre hôte pour son accueil et pour avoir contribué à rendre notre séjour inoubliable !

Parfois il m’arrarive de recevoir des vacanciers qui ont beaucoup d’empathie et d’authenticité ce fut le cas de cette famille avec qui j’ai pu avoir un contact trés chaleureux empreint de beaucoup de savour vivre également Vacanciers à recommander sans aucune hésitation Francis

We had the pleasure of staying at Francis's beautiful house for a month, and it exceeded all our expectations.The house is spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally well equipped – truly a home away from home. Everything has been thoughtfully provided, making it easy to settle in and enjoy our stay from day one.The grounds are stunning, with a wonderful swimming pool and pool house that became the centre of many relaxing afternoons. The property is immaculately maintained, and the regular housekeeping and pool maintenance ensured everything remained in perfect condition throughout our stay.Francis is an outstanding host: welcoming, responsive, and attentive to every detail. He has created a very special place where guests can relax and enjoy the beauty of the Périgord countryside in complete comfort.We leave with wonderful memories and would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and exceptionally well-managed holiday home. la plus belle des locations

Un accueil extraordinaire de Francis jamais rencontré jusqu'alors. Propriété fabuleuse tant par la maison la cuisine le couchage les sanitaires la piscine la cuisine d'été l'équipement.....enfin tout nous a plu ainsi qu'à nos enfants et petits enfants. Merci encore pour les petites attentions. Nous recommanderons votre location et nous y reviendrons.

Prachtig verblijf! Super vriendelijke gastheer!

Het huis was heel netjes. De ontvangst was super hartelijk en Francis deed alles zodat alles voor ons naar wens zou verlopen. Het zwembad was fantastisch. In de bijhorende poolhouse was alles aanwezig. Ook in het huis kwamen we niets tekort. Besluit: mooi huis, super zwembad, prachtige tuin, praktisch poolhouse en een heel attente, lieve gastheer! We komen zeker nog terug!

Dany et sa famille ont été des vacanciers très agréables ayant profité un maximum de l’ensemble de ma demeure… un temps idéal pour passer des journées et des soirées rêvées autour de la piscine et du pool house J’ai beaucoup apprécié leur bonne éducation et le sens du devoir Je les recevrai de nouveau avec grand plaisir et mettrai tout en œuvre pour que leur séjour soit le plus agréable possible Francis

Fantastisch huis, tuin, zwembad en pool house

Geweldig huis, zeer goede gastheer, het ontbrak aan werkelijk niets. We hebben zo’n beetje de hele week in het pool house geleefd (ook ideaal als het weer wat minder is). Kortom: van harte aanbevolen!

Jean Pierre et ses sept amis cyclistes venus pour découvrir le Perigord vert ont été des hôtes très respectueux profitant un maximum de leur séjour,tous de véritables épicuriens Ils ont laissé l’ensemble de ma demeure très très propre à conseiller à tous propriétaires Avec grand plaisir je les recevrai de nouveau Francis

J’ai beaucoup apprécié le couple Christelle, Yannick et leurs enfants accompagnés d’un couple d’amis avec leur enfants également Très respectueux de l’ensemble de ma demeure, d’une propreté exemplaire ,de très belles personnes avec un parfait savoir-vivre Bien évidemment je souhaiterais les accueillir de nouveau , je les recommande à d’autres propriétaires qui sauront les apprécier également Francis
