Carlin Cottage was lovely! Easy walking distance to shops and the beach! Communication with host was speedy. I hesitate to even write this but my one caution is that a couple of pieces of wall art are a bit immodest and could pose a struggle for those staying with teenage boys. All in all though a very lovely place!

Our family of 5 stayed early March 2026. We have stayed many times in Rosemary and this home’s location was very convenient for all interests - beach, shopping, coffee, fitness club, pool etc. The host was very responsive and the description was accurate. I would certainly recommend the home. It was clean and tidy though the furniture could use updates.

Perfect location

This was a perfect location walking and biking distance to everything. Would definitely recommend this location for your family vacation. Only thing we could have used was beach chairs and umbrella's otherwise the house was perfect.

Thank you so much for your review! We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay at Carlin Ward Cottage! We understand how important beach chairs are and am sorry we are not able to provide them complimentary. In Rosemary, they must be rented through the POA or guests are welcome to bring their own from home; although, we understand that is not always feasible for our guests. We greatly appreciate you choosing us and can't wait to welcome you again soon!

Beautiful place, great location!

I hosted a group of 8 girls for a friend’s bachelorette party at this location. We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean and exactly as the listing depicted. The check-in process wasn’t the easiest I’ve ever done, but the host was extremely responsive both with calls and messaging. The best part was the location!!! We were a 2-3 minute walk from the main downtown area! Overall, we had a great stay!

Home away from home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Carlin Ward for a week with our two senior corgis and toddler. It had all the comforts of home and (obviously) so many additional perks with proximity to the beach and the center of everything going on in Rosemary. We had a wonderful, "slow" week away from the rushing and hustling of everyday life. Morning bike rides, walks around the neighborhood with the dogs, afternoon pool and beach days, and too many trips to the coffee shop. We didn't want to leave!

Great house

The house was great. Checked out on Sunday, I wish I had known that you cannot access beach on after checking out . I had chairs and umbrellas rented for the entire day and didn’t have a way to access beach. Rental company and chair company should let out of town guests know that ahead of time.
