Our family have had a great stay, cottage is very comfortable with everything you need. Set in a peaceful area with a great outside area. Hot tub was great even on a rainy day. Would definitely recommend

Immediately welcoming feel to the place, which was impeccable on arrival. We found it a great shady spot to relax and recuperate while exploring the Brecon Beacons. The kids had lots of fun here and our dog settled in too, comfy sofas and beds, very well-equipped kitchen, all made the holiday workable for our 2 small families

Beautiful, cosy cottage

A lovely relaxing New Year break with everything you could possibly need. It was lovely to sit in the hot tub in the evenings watching the stars. Will definitely return.

Amazing place

6 of us stayed in the wonderful place whilst hiking in the brecon beacons. The hut tub was very much appreciated after lut 13 mile hike. Really clean and well equipped. It had everything we needed and more. I wouldnt hesitate to stay again..

Wonderful break

A beautiful cottage for a relaxing, rural weekend away. We hiked, cooked, and unwound in the hot tub. Lisa was responsive and helpful - thank you!

Girls walking weekend

This property was just perfect. 6 ladies visited for the wknd and it’s was more than we expected by far. A beautiful cottage, with everything you could need. Clean, cosy and comfortable. Would highly recommend for the perfect wknd away.

A secluded, quiet, cozy paradise

The first thing we got excited about was the stream in the garden. A stream! In the garden! The shoes came off right after we had walked into the house and out on the other side. The grass was soft and my feet sank into it after the car journey, as I climbed to the back; it is a feeling I'll remember for a while. The kids used the space around the house as a big natural playground. The anticipation of climbing into the hot tub at the end of every single day! In the evenings there was only the birds and us discussing our day respectively, with the sheep checking on each other in the distance. The house was cozy, warm, delightfuly wonky at places, yet luxuriously comfortable. A blue tit amused us persisting in its attempts to get inside the house - can't blame it. The realisation that the rhytmic thumping I heard once we were all in bed, dozing off, with the lights out, was actually my husband's heart beating... We adored the place. My 6 years old son, who cried when we left home, did not want to leave the cottage. Can't blame him either. It was a wonderful stay, likely with the best equipped kitchen I have ever used at a rental, warm and comfortable beds with fluffy towels in abundance. Thank you, Lisa. It is a gem you have there.

Beautiful cottage in lovely private location with quick access to Brecon and the park

Cottage and its environment are beautiful and comfortable. The hot tub is great after a day of walking in the Beacons; we sat in it during a nice rain one night. Lots of chirping birds and sheep next door if you enjoy a bit of baaing as well (we do). The owner, Lisa, is a wonderful landlady, generous with her time in communicating with needy overseas visitors and with her gift basket. We were also very grateful for the fully appointed laundry room by this point in our trip. One note, not a flaw of the rental but perhaps useful to readers: The spiral staircase to the bedrooms is tight and steep. We did not even bother trying to take up our giant suitcases. We didn't mind this but some might, for various reasons. (I'm pretty sure this info appears in the property description as well.) We travel in the UK regularly, have used self catering rentals in Wales, England, Isle of Man, Scotland, and Orkney Islands. This is by far the most expensive cottage we have rented. I thought I would comment on the cost since other travelers might wonder, as we did, if it is worth it. I would say yes, especially if you have several people in your party. With only the two of us it was, in all honesty, kind of dumb to spend so much on space we didn't use, but considering everything the property offers in such a prime location I don't think the pricing is unfair. It may be the most expensive booking we ever made but it's also one of the largest and best appointed.

Wonderful in Wales

Absolutely superb property. All you could want including lovely hot tub. Cosy cottage but luxurious with it. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the property for you..... Just the wind in the trees, bees in plants, birdsong and distant sheep sounds. Virtually no man made noise at all. Owner readily available and very helpful.

Lovely cottage

This was our second visit to this very comfortable and clean cottage. There is so much to do in the area and we really enjoyed the woodburner and the many games available. Very helpful host as well!

Amazing star

This is the most beautiful cottage I’ve ever stayed in. Has everything you need, from slower cooker, mixer, all your essentials for the kitchen. Nice fire and comfy settee, books and dvds and sky! All toys available which made my daughters day, games as well. Everything was beautiful, cosy and warm snd felt very safe. Communication was great thank you so much Xx

Perfect stay

Amazing spot to stay for the weekend. The cottage was perfect for me and friends to stay, the hot tub made it even better. A great space to chill out. Lisa was great and very helpful throughout stay.

What a beautiful place to stay

The property was faultless, beautiful, peaceful and its got a hot tub!! What more do you want!!!. Lisa was incredibly communicative before and during our stay. Inside you couldn't want for nothing, literally being a home from home whilst being in this fairy tale location. I very much enjoyed our stay and cant wait to return one day

Fabulous

The Cottage was exactly as described, amazing interior and exterior. Hot tub was a welcome bonus. Cottage was fully equipped and lots of wood for the log burner left for us. Fabulous experience all around, we will be back.

Excellent property made good use of the hottub it had all little things that you don't think of bringing. could have made use of a few more logs but still very good
