3 bedroom / 2 bath house with ocean and sound views with an enclosed outdoor shower room. 60 second walk to ocean beach access. Sleeps 9 people. 1.2 miles north of the Surf City line with local bars and restaurants. Great fishing and close to local golf courses, kayak and jet ski rentals. Huge concrete driveway is large enough to bring your boat and jet skis too! The house is very well furnished with everything that you will need for your vacation.

3 night minimum stay August 15 to June 1. 7 night minimum stay June 1 until August 15. No cancelations for reservations made between June 1 and August 15.

Small and medium size dogs that do not have fleas, are up to date on their shots, and won't do their business inside the house are welcome to come with you for $100 per pet. Sorry but we do not allow puppies, cats, rodents, snakes, Rottweilers, Pitbulls and/or Pitbull mixes.

Perfect Birthday Celebration!

Everything was great! Close to water and also to everything we needed during our stay. We've stayed at many locations from mountains to Outer Banks and will keep this as a possible return location. Hostess was great!

Labor Day getaway

The house was beautiful and sooo close to the beach access. Maurya is an excellent host and we appreciated all of the extra touches like the basket of toiletries in both bathrooms. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend and would definitely come back!

Island Stay

Very pleased with the property and location. Great support from Maurya Lane who was sympathetic with our weather situation to the point of allowing us to stay an extra day and night. Nothing but kudos regarding our experience.

Last week was planes, trains, and automobiles accommodating my family, the cousins, Grammie, and the dog who wanted in on the action for one last surf on Topsail before everyone headed off to college. The house is immaculate! Everything you need is available, pots and pans, cleaning supplies, and even bathroom supplies if you forgot to pack anything! It's very close to the beach access! The owner is easy to reach by text and she is super helpful! We will return! The owner is readily available and nice!

Lovely place for beach vacations

It was our first time at Topsail Beach and we couldn't find a better place to stay. The house was not only accommodating for our family of 8 but also very clean and with plenty of items (kitchen, games, silverware, bedding, and the list goes on) that you'd normally need when away from home. Walking to the beach didn't take more than 2 mins and the beach was never crowded. We've stayed at many places for our beach vacations for the last 8 years but we could honestly say this was our best experience from a host. We'll def come back to Topsail next year and rent from Maurya again :)

Above and beyond expectations!

We could not have been happier with our stay at this property! Maurya went out of her way to make sure we had everything for a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner for our bunch. We appreciated the attention to detail and the little extras she left. Everyone enjoyed the coffee pods and the fresh flowers were so lovely. The house was perfect and our little morkie, Beau, thoroughly enjoyed his morning and evening strolls on the beach, which was just around the corner.

Great Stay! Close to the beach!

We had a wonderful stay, the house is very close to an easy beach access! We walked our 2 year old to the beach and back multiple times a day. It was great being close enough to just run back to the house for lunch, bathroom use, etc. The kitchen is well equipped and we were so glad to have use of beach towels! The outdoor shower was a great added bonus, we enjoyed the picnic tables and space in the driveway to use sidewalk chalk, our daughter loved having a space to ride her balance bike while we cooked dinner. Maurya was quick to respond when I needed help with the wifi password. This is a great property in a great location!

Artsy beach house

This beach house was great! We came in at night with cute hanging lights to welcome us. The owner has beautiful artistic touches everywhere and so many places to hang out including a shady breezy place with a hammock. You can see the beach over the small beach houses on the beach side and a beautiful sunset over the inter coastal waterway side. The public beach access is a super quick walk away and not very crowded with wide beaches. There is an empty lot on both sides of the house which opens the views and a place to walk our poodle. Restaurants are about a 5 minute drive away. So many nice touches including fresh cut flowers! Will definitely stay again!

1st Topsail visit

The cottage was great! Nice views of the ocean and good bedding! Loved all the decks and huge outdoor enclosed shower. You always had a nice breeze on the side deck. Would sit out there often. Awesome location just a minute walk to the beach. Beach was beautiful as this was out 1st time to Topsail. Maurya (owner) made sure everything was just right when we arrived and was available for any questions we had. Loved that there was a TV in every bedroom and Netflix. TV in family room very large which was a plus. My son loved that there was a desk in upstairs bedroom as he had a place to set up his computer. Bathrooms were newly renovated and very nice. Will definitely stay here again!!!

A long weekend in paradise

My husband and I always love spending time at our favorite place on earth….Topsail Island. But the host of this quaint coastal cottage helped to make our stay even more enjoyable! I’ve been renting vacation homes on Topsail Island for decades now, and Maurya is the most pleasant and the most efficient host with whom I have ever worked. Maurya genuinely strives to help ensure that her “guests” have a positive, enjoyable experience while staying in her home. My husband and I found this cottage well-equipped and well-stocked with everything a vacationer needs. And we appreciate Maurya’s quick responses every time we had a question. A big THANK YOU to Maurya for being so kind and accommodating during our last-minute weekend trip to Topsail!

Amazing Family Vacation Gem

Our stay was more than we could have ever asked for and more! As first time VRBO users, we really didn't know what to expect; however, Maurya made everything from the reservation process to checking out seamless. She was also incredible about answering any and all questions that came up. It was the perfect place for our family of four (including two toddlers under four). There were extra beach towels, sidewalk chalk, beach toys, and anything/everything we needed for both the adults and kids... something really hard to find these days! She thought of every detail, and the personal touches in the house to make it feel like our home for the week did not go unnoticed. We would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Topsail and are so grateful and blessed to have found the perfect place to stay.

2023 Family summer Vacation

The Good: Property was perfect for our needs. It was an easy walk to the beach and restaurants and shops were a 5 minute drive away. The bedrooms were good sized with good views from the top floor. The Bad: The property was not cleaned properly. The floors were dirty. There was sand in all of the beds. There is an ant infestation in the cabinets above the stove and there were roaches we found in the kitchen, main floor bathroom, and bedroom with the king bed. There was no cable or TV access in the main floor bedroom.

I apologize that the cleanliness did not meet your standards. The beds were all made with fresh cleaned sheets. We constantly and consistently spray the interior of the house, the barrier of the house, and the yard. I wish that you had contacted me or VRBO because we would have immediately called the pest control company to eliminate the problem. The Roko was not completely plugged into the power strip in the master bedroom and that is why the TV wasn't working. I wish that you had contacted me or VRBO because we would have fixed this issue too.

Amazing location, cozy home, perfect communication

Beautiful home with awesome amenities. We felt very taken care of during our 9-day stay. The owner went out of her way to buy a steamer for us ahead of our stay, because we mentioned that we liked to eat steamed fish. The house itself was very well-furnished and beautifully decorated. The house had boxes and boxes of things people may need at a moments notice - umbrellas, brand new combs, lotion, shampoo, etc. The TV was ginormous! There was also a giant telescope in one of the rooms upstairs! I was blown away. The beds were very comfy and tidy. The bedroom upstairs facing the ocean tends to be very bright in the morning, so I recommend either wearing an eye-mask or adjusting one’s sleep schedule. The location was perfect, it only took us a minute or two to walk to the beach. It’s also a short drive from other great beaches. Some beaches had amazing sea shells, others had beautiful pebbles. Communication with the owner was perfect. She always messaged us back in a timely manner and really went out of her way to help us. We were really happy during our stay and have many beautiful memories to cherish.

I have owned this property for over twenty years without renters and the house has been regularly maintained.

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

2022: New waterproof Pergo floors installed on first floor (living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry and master bedroom).

2022: Painted kitchen cabinets white. All doors and baseboards were painted and walls to every room were touched up.

2021: New HVAC system.

2021: Renovated master bathroom. New vanity, new toilet, new flooring, new paint. We were unable to get anyone to install a new tub.

2021: Installed a 3 foot x 5 foot Smart TV in the living room.

2021: Yard and side lot was completely renovated. Installed fresh mulch, removed yucca plants, and pruned all shrubbery.

2019: Painted the entire interior including inside of the closets.

2019: New carpet on stairs and both upstairs bedrooms.

2019: The exterior was repaired & painted gray. Please do not judge the house by the Google Maps picture which was taken on garbage day in the spring after we were hit by a major hurricane. Repairs were done shortly after photo was taken when we could finally get a contractor to take on our job.

The covered side porch has the best unobstructed, sunset views because I also own the side lot. Interior pictures do not do the ocean and sound views any justice. The 3 picnic tables under the house makes for a great gathering space at night. There are LED lights under the house and sting light bulbs.
