The house is very close to the community center with a heated pool and hot tub. We walked back and forth multiple times. My kids had a blast in the game room. They do kids activities and had a dj at the pool on Saturday. Only disappointment is we weren't notified that the water slides and other play area were closed for maintenance. It was one of the reasons we booked this stay.

We didnt recieve our check in/ gate instructions until 15 min before check in time. I messaged the host like 2/ maybe 3 hours before we arrived and heard NOTHING back. I was getting worried thinking I was scammed because that had never happened before. It wasnt until we got to the gate and the guard told us that our names were not at the gate for entry (huge headache) so we had to wait at the from gate until they could get ahold of someone. the host only alots you 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom (and it isn't the huge rolls, we're talkling the dollar store tiny rolls) The host told us we are only allowed 1 roll per pathroom which is listed in the writing as a "toiletry starter set" so bring your own TP if you're staying longer than 12 hours with more than 2 people. The property manager they have listed as a contact in case you need anything responded 4 hours after frantically trying to get ahold of someone to get our names on the gate as well as our other car with guests (because only the owner can add them), The floor was so dirty we all had to wear socks so our feet werent black. Zero cleaning supplies so we couldnt even mop.The kitchen sponge was an old, raggety dollar store type tiny foam sponge from probably 2-3 families before us (it was sooo gross), again, ZERO cleaning supplies, so we couldn't CLEAN anything outside of using a damp paper towel. oh and only 1 roll of paper towels was allotted for the stay, so make sure you ration the paper toiletries.
The sponge to clean our dishes. HELL NO.
ZERO cleaning supplies to clean the nasty floor. Unable to literally clean anything properly after cooking unless we went and bought our own cleaning supplies.
The size of the 1 allowed roll per bathroom per stay. We had to request more and the owner said they only provide 1 roll per bathroom per stay. (Im serious, there was absolutely NO backup tp anywhere int he house) lol

We love staying at Windsor Hills. We have stayed there on previous vacations and enjoy all the amenities and proximity to the parks.This unit was ok. It generally had everything we needed but there were parts of the unit that were not clean. Every door and door frame was dirty. The front door/frame and staircase railing were filthy. Super convenient for Disney. Clean and comfortable. Great air conditioning. Kids enjoyed pool, waterslides and gameroom. The unit is also located very close to the pool area and snack bar. Easy walk.Easy check-out. No page long list of chores!Had a plumbing issue, but those things happen. Manager took 6 hours to respond, which meant the issue was not resolved before we left the next day. We were unable to use the toilet in the master bathroom for over 24 hours. Minor inconvenience. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and we would recommend.

Check -in was easy, the security guys were very pleasant. Kitchen was ok the oven I wouldn’t use it was dirty also the hob once turned off wasn't safe it stayed hot for a long while.. we had a car so didn’t check out transport access

Disney stay

We arrived tired and hot and this was the perfect spot! They had the air conditioning super cold and refreshing for us northerners who aren’t used to the Florida heat. The pool area was Perfect for my two kids aged 9 and 5. Highly recommend!

Perfect Townhouse & Location

The townhouse was perfect for our family of 4 - it was clean, had all we needed and well maintained. Our teen and pre-teen loved the on-site pool and activities. To sum it up, we were looking at our calendar to see when we could come back before we even left.

Lovely home from home

Great day. The property is getting a bit worn through wear and tear but was perfectly functional for our needs. The air conditioning broke and the problem was rectified very quickly.

Great accommodation, close to Disney and Universal parks with rental car. Highlight of house was private pool at back.

Family Vacation

Check in was very easy at the front gate, only had to wait a few minutes. Upon arrival at 4, the cleaning crew was just pulling out. This rental is very spacious, with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Ceilings are very tall. Also helps make it seem bigger. Everyone was happy with their own space. Master bedroom has a great mattress. One of the most comfortable I have ever slept on for a rental. Disney bathroom had a few malfunctions. The toilet is older and we had to fix a few things to keep it working. Probably close to end of life. Also, that shower struggled to get hot water. Log in information for tv in Disney bedroom did not work. We enjoyed making our meals on the days we stayed in. Spacious kitchen. We did miss having a cookie sheet but we able to improvise with other pans. Also would recommend more than 1 kitchen towel. Kids enjoyed the soaking pool in the evening. Lots of shopping options nearby, but traffic was a little crazy. Had to plan those outings accordingly. We enjoyed the pool and pickleball. If you have your own sports equipment would recommend bringing so you dont have to rent. We also used the public grills one night and ate at the pavillion. If it wasnt so hot during our stay, we would enjoyed walking the property more. Overall, we had a great stay. For the price, it was a great option for our family. Other recommendations, cleaning crew needs to make sure they sweep under the couches and also check under the coach cushions. May help with the tiny ants.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay during our recent trip. The house was as described, and offered what our family needed for a great week. We loved how easy it was to get to the community with access to stores and restaurants close by. The house is close to the community pool allowing us to walk to and from. The layout and offerings of the community pool were great for our children. Communication with the owner before arrival was timely. We would stay at the property again for a future trip.

First trip to Disney

The property was exactly what we needed for our stay. It was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Conveniently located by Disney and Wal-Mart. The kids enjoyed the pool at the house and water park attraction on the grounds. Will stay here again.

So many alternatives, stay elsewhere

We have been staying at Windsor Hills for the past four years, each time trying a new location. I recommend staying elsewhere. We have normally stayed in the condos, but decided to spend a little extra this time to get the plunge pool. The pool heat cost extra, which we paid in advance. When we checked in it was obvious the pool had not been serviced as there was some minor buildup and the heat was not working - water temp in the 70s. On our third day maintenance showed up to service the pool. And finally by the end of the third day of our six day rental, the pool was actually up to temp (90 degrees). On day four, when we went to leave for the day, we discovered the keypad lock was not locking. After several calls with management, there was no physical backup key anywhere. We couldn't leave without securing our belongings, so we had to wait for maintenance to arrive and change out the lock. Our plans for the day were ruined. When trying multiple times to discuss these issues with the property owner, there was absolutely no apologies or courtesy given. What I thought was a very reasonable request to refund us for the heat not working for three days or for a day rental of our stay since we had to oversee maintenance on his property and cancel our vacation plans, we were told we should have cancelled the heat and that the lock not working/lack of physical key backup was none of our business. We are good renters and don't ask for much. Terrible experience with this property owner
