Comfy and close to everything

Very clean and spacious; has everything you could need for a stay in the Charleston area. Highly recommend for any couple. Quick response time and excellent communication with the owners.

PERFECT for a weekend getaway

My wife and I decided to drive up to Charleston for a kid-free weekend before the arrival of our next kid in April. The Pump house was perfect in every way. Great location, comfortable, clean, and the hosts are super communicative and truly cared about our experience. Next time we visit, we will definitely stay here.

Great Charleston Getaway!

The Pump House is the cleanest, most comfortable and convenient VRBO we have stayed with. The Hosts were gracious and easy to reach. Furnishings and amenities first class. Walking distance to great restaurants and coffee. Convenient to the beach and downtown Charleston. We will be back. Highly recommend The Pump House

Luxury couple’s accommodations

Brandon and Jess provided a perfect experience during our visit. This is an upstairs apartment in a quiet upscale neighborhood, perfect for one or two travelers. This isn’t a Vegas party pad, guests should be respectful. Ubers/Lyft to and from Charleston were $10-15. Full kitchen has everything you need, but we took advantage of local restaurants and used kitchen mostly for breakfast and snacks. Coffee shops, bars and restaurants are all within walking distance. Parking situation was perfect for our 1 vehicle. Look no further for your couples getaway!! 10/10 recommend and will return.

Location Perfection

We could not have had a more perfect vacation spot. The neighborhood is quaint, quiet, and on a lovely oak canopy street. You are 15 minutes from Isle Of Palms, Sullivan's Island, and downtown Charleston. You are 5 minutes from Shem Creek. Everything you need is within three blocks, Publix and the best restaurants. We ate at Home Team Bar B Q, The Mustard Seed, The Boathouse, and had ice cream at Ye Old Town Cafe. Each of these places was fabulous! The property is spotless, even in hard-to-see places, which is only sometimes the case. The bed and bedding were very comfortable, and we rested the entire stay wonderfully. There are also two beach chairs and a beach bag, which we didn't use on the trip. The place was stocked with the basics for our week's stay. Toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, plenty of K-cups for the Keurig, an assortment of tea, salt and pepper, and other spices. The communication from Brandon and Jess was impeccable, from the inquiry of the property through the stay to our departure. This will be our first inquiry if we are ever back in the area.

This was a great place to stay for two people. It was convenient to a great many places. If you liked to walk, there were any restaurants nearby. Other stores were not that far away. The hosts were very nice. Communications were great. Would recommend staying here.

It was the perfect size for us! Very clean and well thought out layout of the space. Felt safe in the area, and they left great recommendations of things to do in both Mt. Pleasant and Charleston. We met Brandon one evening and he was very welcoming!

Great place!

We enjoyed the neighborhood, and the property was perfect for two people. Sullivan's Island was a 10 minute drive away, and it was easy to take a water taxi from Patriot's Point into Charleston. We would definitely stay here again!

Best time

I absolutely love this place. I was in town for the Bridge Run and found this place back in February and it exceeded my expectations from day 1. So cozy, quiet and plenty of space. Easy check in, short drive or you can walk to Shem Creek. Short drive or Lyft / uber to downtown Charleston. Great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend. Definitely will stay here again.

Great place to stay!

The location of this place was super convenient to restaurants and shopping as well as downtown Charleston. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was really comfortable and the boat was quick to respond and helpful with information we asked about.

Truly Upscale!

A beautiful garage apartment in a charming neighborhood, so well located to the Old Village as well as the main thoroughfares of Mount Pleasant. The furnishings and finishes look brand new and very high quality. The king sized bed was much appreciated and extremely comfortable. Also a beautiful complete kitchen. What more could one want for a few nights' vacation stay? We will definitely stay here again! That's why we're asking how the pleasure is.
