Sweet cozy house located in Pigeon Cove

Lovely furnished three bedroom, one bath house in Pigeon Cove. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the needed items. Newly remodeled bathroom. Large yard with fire pit.
The kitchen includes cooking utensils, pots & pans, dishcloths, potholders, flatware, dishware, glassware. Standard appliances include a refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster and coffee maker.

Nearby are quarries, coves, beaches, galleries & retreats. Walk to beautiful Flat Rocks, an exquisite stretch of Cape Ann's renowned rocky coast to the north & west; or walk to Halibut Point State Park, an exploration of trail and quarry surrounded by the North Shore Ocean Sanctuary, Atlantic Coast, Rockport. Lanes Cove and Plum Cove Beach are both to the south, less than a mile away. Located on a coastal scenic byway, public transportation is easily accessible in either direction.

Bed linens and bath linens (bath towels, hand towels & face cloths) are provided. Basic housekeeping supplies are provided.

Cottage was very clean and beds super comfortable. Loved sipping early morning tea on the porch. You can easily walk/hike to Haliburt State Park and Atlantic Path. Lobster Pool Restaurant is 3 min drive and has ocean views and sunsets while you enjoy your delicious meals.

We had a lovely stay for a long weekend in Craig’s cottage! It’s comfortably, but basically furnished. No frills but has everything you need and comfy beds! Craig was kind enough to accommodate our shepherd mix (I’m always happy to pay an extra fee to bring her with us). Most importantly, the location is amazing! We had a really lovely walk - from the cottage to the Atlantic footpath, up the coast (some scrambling required - but follow marked routes). A very short drive to excellent restaurants and cute shops on Bear Skin Neck and Gloucester. Highly recommend! We hope to return next year!

Quick get away

The property is well located for cycling and visiting all the local beaches. It was lovely to sit on the porch in the morning with a cup of coffee and in the evening after a long day at the beach. It was clean and well appointed. There are just two small things to address: the shower door needs a little TLC and the kitchen trash can could be replaced. I would definitely rent this sweet place again.

Small get away

This location was great for a quiet getaway away from any hustle and bustle. Was close to a restaurant on the shore with great local seafood and little to no disturbances. Recommend for a quiet retreat.

Fall getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this cute little house. The location was very well centered to everything we wanted to do. The weather was good, actually a little on the warm side, and it could have used some air conditioning, but those had been removed from the windows. We did have an issue with the shower door, and while it did not get resolved, the owner did compensate us. There were only a small amount of bath linens for 8 days. The kitchen was well stocked, the hot water was very hot. There was only a few outlets in the home, but being an older house, it was to be expected. Loved sitting on the front porch, enjoying the pretty weather. Did not enjoy the roadside parking. The traffic flew past the house, making it hard to get in and out of the car .Overall a good experience!

Perfect Cottage Getaway

My husband and my daughter and her spouse all 4 stayed in this cozy little cottage while on vacation in Rockport for a week. We loved the beds, and the pillows, they slept great. All the amenities are there , even some dry goods in the pantry

BFF getaway

Enjoyed our time in the area. Location was good for exploring many areas. The house was comfy, lots of older charm. Think the description should indicate that the parking is in front on street and there steep stairs leading up to property making it challenge to haul luggage and groceries. We did find bit someone who isn’t in shape would really struggle with it.

Comfortable. Beds are great. Appliances are good. Nice front porch. No off street parking made getting dog into and out of car difficult. Proximity to hiking at Halibut Pt., Atlantic Way, and walking to town and Bearskin Neck is wonderful.

Amazing stay!

Property is well maintained and clean. Provided us with lots of clean towels, bed is so comfortable and cozy slept really well. We just needed extra lanterns and batteries as huge storm hit last night we were there. Power didn’t turn on until 3am so we had to pack in dark. Would stay again for sure. Loved the location. Close to beaches.

Wonderful historic home in historic Rockport!

This is a very nice historic home in the historic area of Rockport, MA. Some of the homes in the area date back to the early 1700’s. If you can’t appreciate the history of this area you may want to consider something else. We loved it! Host was very responsive and we enjoyed the home. Reminded my wife and I of our grandparents home.

Charming older property

The property had everything we required for our stay. The only quirk, which is mentioned in the property description is the on street parking (no driveway). The climb from street level would be an issue for someone with mobility issues. A short walk from Windhover, Halibut Point St Pk, and the Lobster Pool restaurant, where parking is always tight.

Highly recommend this location

I grew up in Rockport and love going home each year. This house was very comfortable for my four person family. My girls shared a room. The porch was wonderful for morning coffee and dinner. It had a cool breeze everyday. It is easy to walk from there to Halibut state park. Downtown Rockport is lovely. The house had 2 different coffee makers. They also had a large washer and drier which made holiday laundry a breeze. The owners were very helpful. All in all it was a great stay. Thanks, Jennie and the Trumpolds

Nice location

Had a great stay in Rockport! The house is close to many different attractions, highly recommend the Beauport Sleeper-McCann house and Castle Hill on Crane Estate. The house was clean and had everything we needed, quiet too, although we pretty much only slept here because there was so much to do and see!! Grateful for the very comfy beds after a day exploring!
