200 meter til sandet! Denne store smukke hytte har vintage sjarmen af et søhus med opdateringer for at gøre dit ophold mere behageligt. Hvad gør dette hus skiller sig ud? Det har en utrolig åben stue-spisestue, der giver alle gæster mulighed for at spise og samle alle i samme rum! Jeg vedder på, at intet andet hus til denne pris kan tilbyde det! Det har også et andet tv / legeplads i kælderen, når du vil have noget tid væk fra børnene.

Sovepladser i alt 18 i senge med et par ekstra sofaer eller gulvplader, hvis du medbringer luftmadrasser. Perfekt til flere familier. 2 Master Suites! Ovenpå master har en ny plys kongen seng, ensuite badeværelse, privat screenet dæk, blackout nuancer og er afsondret fra andre ovenpå værelser. 1. sal master har en kingsize seng og eget privat badeværelse. 6 soveværelser og 5 badeværelser i alt. Et af badeværelserne har et badekar. Tjek diagrammerne i billedafsnittet for at se, hvordan huset er lagt ud. Køkkenet er fuldt udstyret med gryder, pander, tallerkener mv. Fuld størrelse foldbar krybbe er tilgængelig og kan flyttes til ethvert rum. Lake Michigan udsigt fra 2. sal! Færdig kælder med en queensize seng, 2 enkeltsenge, badeværelse og en ekstra indgang udefra for at pudse alt sandet ud i mudret! Nyd bagdækket under skyggen træer, mens du griller ud på den store gasgrill. Hele huset WiFi system med Roku er på alle tv. Kabel-tv og adgang til vores Netflix-konto eller log ind på din egen. Parkering til 4 - 5 biler (afhængigt af størrelse).

Gå til Washington Park Zoo, Splash Pad, se de strålende solnedgange, mens du nyder underholdning på Sunset Grill og gå til catwalken til Michigan City Lighthouse.

Interesseret i at udforske udover? Centralt beliggende til så mange attraktioner! Tag en vandretur langs Mt Baldy, besøg Central Beach, Beverly Shores og Amerikas nyeste nationalpark, Indiana Dunes. Kun 15 minutter til New Buffalo og Harbour Country. Besøg Warren Dunes eller tag en familievenlig dagstur til St Joe, Michigan. Sørg for at tage et billede af Michigan City Lighthouses twin på Tiscornia Park! Fantastic beach location

Great little neighborhood, Not too much yard space but you're right next to a beautiful beach. Plenty of room for dining and relaxing. Casual house perfect for family.

Nice large house in a great location

Comfortable, casual house just half a block from the beach. Place was just as described and host was easy to work with (although not always timely in responses). Definitely recommend.

Great Space for Family Vacation!

This home was perfect for a large family group. Our family got together for some summer time together. The location right at the beach was wonderful, it was a very easy walk to the water each day. The basement was stocked with beach towels and chairs and everything you could need. The rooms provide a lot of sleeping space for a large group. The large dining tables assured everyone had a seat. Overall we had a wonderful time, definitely going to ear mark this location for future trips!

Family reunion beach stay

Such a fantastic home to spend the holiday with 3 generations of family. Andy and Amy are the most lovely people to share their dream beach home with others. House is even better in person than any picture could show.

Fourth of July fun!

Our whole family stayed here for the Fourth of July weekend and had a wonderful stay. The common spaces were perfect for game playing, but still enough room for everyone to sit comfortably. The proximity to the beach was great and we all appreciated not having to fight traffic and find parking. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved his home. There was enough space for everyone to have their own space at any point if the day. The home was very nice and right next to the beach. We loved everything about it!

We had an absolutely amazing stay with my big family. We ranged in age from 1-68 and everyone had a comfortable bed and no problem finding a bathroom near every bedroom. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots and pans and any other kitchen item you might need. There is an easy walk to the beach and a walkway that made pulling a wagon and pushing a stroller easy. The beach is gorgeous. I definitely recommend this beautiful home that easily accommodates 18 people.

Wonderful family trip!

The house met our needs very well...lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. The crib was great to have! The kitchen is not very big, and we had 11 people but we made do. Very easy access to the beach...a 2 minute walk! We loved the screened porch at night!

Wonderful location!

The property was located so close to the beach! We loved that! It's a little older than what it appears in the photos, but it fit our family well and everyone enjoyed it. The kitchen is small. The basement bathroom was buggy. Overall, though we enjoyed our stay!!

Overall everything was great. Plenty of room for the whole family. Everything we needed was available in the home. Walk to the beach was easy & close. Hard time with internet, kept having to reset router daily. Very limited cell service.

Great for a group!

Perfect location and property for a large group. House has plenty of space for people to sleep. Great first floor great room. Steps to the beach. Only negative was Kitchen is very small which made for tight cooking for a group. Great outdoor screened in patio off upstairs master. We called it the VIP lounge: Perfect for after dinner lounging!!!

Family Beach Weekend

I stayed here with my siblings, their spouses and our 13 children. This house was perfect-it was SO close to the beach…literally a 2 minute walk to the sand and another 3 minutes to get to the waterfront. The mudroom was perfect to dump all the towels, chairs, sand toys and keep the rest of the house clean. The dining area has 3 tables so plenty of space to sit and eat. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms making it ideal for a large group so everyone had their own space. The neighborhood was cute, clean and safe.

Absolutely fantastic!!!

This house was great! We had 18 in our group…8 adults and 10 grandchildren ranging from 1 to 16. Plenty of room for everyone. Plenty of beds. The beach is just a very convenient short walk to the beach and no steps!!! We absolutely loved our week and already have booked for next year. Cari, the property manager, was easy to work with and very attentive to our needs. If I could I would give it 10 stars!!! Highly recommend.

Family vacation

This is our second straihjt years for staying at this location. It is so ideal for our family. We have eight adults and 10 grandchildren and the house is very comfortable with plenty of room to play games, eat, sleep, relax, etc. it meets all of our needs, and then sell! The closeness of the beach is a big selling point. It is about a 100 yard walk to the beach, which makes it very convenient for the parents to bring home their children for lunch, restroom breaks, naps, etc. plenty of room on the beach for our family of 18. The owner is very easy to work with and always returns emails, phone calls, etc. immediately. A big thumbs up from the Webber Family and we would give it 10 stars but we’re limited to only five!!!

117 Louisiana Union Pier

Great house, great location, clean, roomy ( 8 adults and 7 children had no problem with space), owners respond quickly. We highly recommend this property. Lots of space fully stocked with towels, beach chairs, toilet paper, kitchen paper towels, dishes and silver ware. Plenty of washrooms, TV’s ( if needed) were in main room of house, as well as lower level and in 2 of the bedrooms——but with all the activities on the beach—didnt really need them. Beach is about 200ft away, rentals are a 10 minute ride away, description of property on VRBO is very accurate. Owner and property manager respond quickly. Couldn’t be happier!

Steps to the Lake

This was a perfect spot for walking to Lake Michigan. Steps away from the beach made the location ideal. Lots of seating for meals was helpful. Main floor and upper level bedrooms and bathrooms were adequate and clean. Upstairs sitting area was calm and peaceful. Basement space wise was nice, however, when going into the basement there was a musty smell. The bathroom in the basement had a drain with standing water in it. When turning on the sink, water would gurgle in the drain. This drain also had a horrible smell that permeated the whole bathroom. If needing to use the basement space, would not recommend but if space in basement is not needed, this is a perfect spot for lake access. Neighborhood was also very quiet. Host was very responsive when finding out about the drain, etc and sent a handyman to check it out.

great little spot, close to beach

We had a great time in Michigan City and look forward to staying here again. The hosts were very helpful. The house on the website is portrayed accurately. Lots of sleeping space. Also, really liked the dining space. Our family group of 12 fit nicely. Multiple tables provide a game area, kid area to play and another table to dine at. Our favorite part was the very close walk to the beach and a great walkway to the water.. Very easy with little children. Also, the host had lots of beach towels, beach chairs and toys. Very convenient. The basement was a great area for a family w/ 3 kids. Overall, no complaints at all, and lots of praise for a great house close to beach. We also visited the zoo, splash pad was closed.

Plenty of privacy but also great communal spaces for 14 adults to enjoy

Our family reunion brought together 14 adults (and one teen), who had a variety of needs and requests (1st floor bedrooms and baths; quiet, private corners; plenty of couches and large dining tables for hanging out and eating together, but also quiet, private corners). Everyone appreciated the quick walk to the uncrowded beach and the ample beach chairs and towels--and, on a day that turned dreary and rainy, lots of room to spread out comfortably for simultaneous board games and conversations. The host was graciously responsive to a couple of requests we had. Good A.C. overall and strong wifi, easy for everyone to connect to. We wished there had been a couple of beach umbrellas and, ideally (but we accepted as not possible on the lot) more outdoor space for our large group to gather outside. All in all, 117 Louisiana proved the best accommodation we've ever found for our family reunions, also for its convenient proximity to Chicago and airports.

Spacious home! Just like the photos. Easy walk to beach.

This home was perfect for our group of 20 people! The master king suites were super spacious and relaxing - especially the one upstairs with the screened-in porch. That was truly the gem of the property. The upstairs room did get a little warm but there were fans around the house we were able to use. There was plenty of beds for us to sleep and plenty of seating for us to enjoy dinner together. The house came with plenty of cooking utensils and pots and pans, enough beach & bath towels and linens for all of us, and even some beach chairs. The walk from the property to the water is very quick and close. There are blue mats nailed down on the sand to make the walk very easy. The sandy beach is beautiful and the water felt great even for June! It’s cold in the morning but by the afternoon it’s swimmable and enjoyable. Andy and Cari were extremely responsive and helpful. They answered all of our questions and provided a very easy check-in & check-out handbook. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!
