At Greensprings Vacation Resort, you will be able to enjoy some rest and relaxation, lounging in your own private whirlpool, or enjoying the indoor pool.

You can take a swim in either the indoor or the outdoor swimming pools, or enjoy a game of tennis, even at night, on the floodlit tennis courts. Of course, there is also plenty of great golfing at the resort-adjacent Nicklaus-designed golf course.

Rooms are only booked in the name we receive from VRBO. We cannot add a name while you're en-route to the resort. Any additional name needed for check in, please add right away.

Property in Disrepair

Problems encountered during our stay:1. Initially assigned a unit with an alternate floorplan not matching the listing that didn't work for our group.2. A problem with the locks required maintenance hours to rekey and fully resolve.3. An AC issue in the building flooded the unit with a foul smell forcing us to relocate to a new unit.4. The new unit was handed over to us is disarray requiring maintenance.5. Wireless internet was not working from the new unit.6. The master bathtub was in disrepair in the new unit.7. The water throughout the property stopped working on the last day of our stay.8. The property manager has not been responsive to reviewing these issues that severely impacted our trip.

Housekeeping

Washing machine needs to have bleach run through to elimate smell and mold. Door should be left open until dry when using front load washer.

Perfect Golf Trip

Overall good stay

We were unable to use our key cards to get into one unit both nights! After THREE trips to the Registration desk, security was finally called to let us in the unit. The second night security followed us to the room to let us in.....

Williamsburg Golf Trip Accommodations

Positives - Convenient location. Beds comfortable. Outdoor balcony access, excellent shower water pressure in master bedroom bath, everything worked in unit, pool was good. Negatives - Overall, unit could have been cleaner. Carpet had dirty/stained areas. Living room furniture was worn and wasn’t that clean - some debris. Minimal baking pans in kitchen. Dishwasher not great - Red center of Finish table did not melt and stayed in detergent compartment along with some of the white granules. Shower curtain in master bath too short - water sprayed on floor during every shower!

Spacious adjoining units

The space was very accommodating but there were a few issues. The carpets were absolutely filthy, your feet/socks were black after walking around without shoes!!!! There was no shower curtain in one bathroom and when notified the promised shower curtain never appeared. The shower curtain in the one master bath wasn't long enough so water leaked out all over the floor. Meanwhile, the pool was excellent and there were more than adequate playground equipment for the kids. The facility was well located for visits to various attractions.

First time visit to Greensprings Resort / Williamsburg.

We were a family of 11 (6 adults, 5 kids ages 10-16) visiting Williamsburg for the first time. We rented 2 condos (third floor) which shared an adjoining “foyer” that had a separate locked door to the main stairwell. This allowed us to keep our doors open and easily go back and forth between the two places. The condos were nice, had a hotel feel to them but could use some updating.The layout was great and there was ample space for everyone to be together or separate. While there was adequate sleeping arrangements w/ beds and sofa beds we did use 2 air mattresses so each kid had their own bed. Air mattresses fit nicely in living rooms by the sofas. Beds were comfortable as were the sofa beds. The kitchens had very minimal utensils, plates, glasses etc… so if you plan on cooking a large meal plan accordingly. While the condos were clean the main hallway / foyer of our building could have been maintained better. There was debris on the floor and steps that remained there the entirety of our stay, the hallway also had a smell at times possibly of trash although we could not actually see trash left behind, and the entry doors were constantly smudged as glass was not cleaned at all during the week. As for the amenities - the resort offered A LOT - large pools (indoor and outdoor) basketball court, mini golf, pickle ball, sand volleyball, horseshoes, tennis, shuffleboard - and we enjoyed them all. Equipment was easily available for checkout at the Activities office but we also brought some of our own so that we could use the facilities after checkout closed at 5pm. Pool was large and clean and had plenty of lounge chairs and tables. The cabana bar was unfortunately closed and we were told it was not reopening this year. The location of the resort was convenient to local attractions - 20/30 minutes from Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown and there was local shopping and chain eateries within 10minutes. Regarding security - while we did need a card key to enter our building and our condos there was free access to all other amenities on the property. There was a security guard at the main entrance but honestly they never asked us for any info indicating we were actually guests of the resort nor did they really check For our parking pass. Check-in / Check-out was easy but be prepared to be “offered” to participate in a presentation for the resort - think “timeshare “ presentation. All in all we had a great trip and were happy with the resort.

Very accommodating

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were good sized and comfortable. Only issue was we were top floor and people below us banged on their ceiling any time we walked. We did not stomp nor were purposely loud, but apparently their tolerance was quite low.

Good for Large Family

Rental was good for large family. Note that the 2 condos don’t physically share a door, there is a shared foyer between the 2. This was fine since we had teens and tweens but would not have worked if all our children were small. The pool was operating at 75% capacity but was always so full that we did not use. We were on the go, so this was a great place to relax before bed and grab a quick breakfast before heading out in the mornings. We did not cook but had plenty of plates and bowls and glasses for breakfast and takeout.

The coach beds were soiled, awful and I have pictures of both of them from both sides of lock out. The people were nice, but all had different things they would tell you. There was confusion as my family arrived at different times, because check in people told you different things. We had no hot water in one unit for 3 days, washer machine broke and flooded laundry room on day one, etc. We won't stay again.

Mini COVID vacation

It was a much needed time away from this COVID mess. The property is clean and very nice. The saltwater pool is nice and clean. They are serious about the social distancing at the pool. It was good to see the kids having an awesome time! Now for the inside of the property well we had the 4 bedrooms and all I can say is the rooms, bathrooms, carpets, kitchens need to be updated or renovated. Other than that we all had a wonderful time!

Unclean and no pots

I had to clean all doors in both units. Dry food and stains on everyone one. Covid19 is waiting on everyone. Patios were not cleaned. Debris and trash in the yard. Spider webs that look like they were there for months. Legs to some insect were on the pillow in our bedroom. Ants crawling around where there was something red left around our bathroom jacuzzi. Had to keep calling for things not in our rooms. Blankets, pots, redo our bed, clean our patios, wifi wasn't working. The housekeeper who came said he would bring pots and a tech to fix wifi. 3 hours went by. I called and was told he was gone home for the day. Spider webs were still everywhere that I got tired of cleaning. I was exhausted cleaning to condos.

Great place to sleep

Overall, nice place to stay but our 4 bedroom was actually 2 2 bedrooms on different floors. Beds were very comfortable but living room furniture uncomfortable everyone ended up watching TV s in bedrooms.
