This unit is located in the ‘Cannonborough-Elliotborough’ neighborhood of Downtown Charleston, which is the most upcoming neighborhood on the peninsula. It is also the only neighborhood in Downtown Charleston where Short Term Rentals are considered legal. We are just one block from upper King Street, and also surrounded by local coffee shops, restaurants, bakeries, etc. The Historic District, otherwise known as the French Quarter, makes up a very small part of downtown and is walkable from the unit, although Short Term Rentals are not allowed in the French Quarter. Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the walkable location, though we're sorry to learn that the studio layout and size didn’t meet your expectations. Regarding the water shutoff, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. There was a leak in a neighboring unit, and the plumber had to turn the water off for approximately 15 minutes to repair a section of pipe. Unfortunately, we were not made aware this would happen until it had already occurred. We understand how frustrating that must have been and appreciate your patience. We also recognize that, while the space is compact, it may not be the best fit for all guests. Your comments are helpful, and we’ll continue to use this type of feedback to improve the guest experience.
