Beliggende oven på en af de højest privatejet bjerge i Nord Georgien, denne 2 konge soveværelse 2 bad Sliding Rock Cabin i Ellijay, GA kabine byder på udsigt over miles og miles af Blue Ridge Mountains. Vandre National Forest Service vandresti med et dejligt vandfald. Bagefter sog i boblebadet under en stjernefyldt himmel, så privat at badedragter er valgfri. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Highly recommend you have an Awd or a 4-wheel drive vehicle in order to get here or be experience with the roads. We loved the view so being stuck due to the rain wasn't a big deal for us since that's what we come here for the view and being to get away from everyone.

View is everything.

We loved this cabin. The drive up and down the mountain is pretty steep and bumpy takes about 12 ish minutes up and down.considering it’s a dog friendly cabin, they clean very well and love they provide the sheets to cover any furniture. My only complaints were small things they need to do for maintenance like the blind sticks missing, the recliner is on its last leg and there’s most likely mold in bathroom downstairs that should be addressed. Our family thoroughly enjoyed this cabin!!

We had a wonderful time! The cabin is adorable! We relaxed on the porch swing, spent time in the hot tub and did some antiquing in town. One of the most important things to us is that the cabin was very clean! We will definitely be back!

March 2018 Stay

We loved our time at Nativa! Beautiful views, peaceful surroundings, comfortable beds, and a hot tub! Got lots of great pics, wish I could share more than one! The drive to the cabin wasn't easy with our car and directions were somewhat confusing, but once we found it, we loved it.

I loved sitting in the hot tub at night watching the fireflies. We were also able to see a small black bear and deer. There are wild blackberries that grow along the road that we picked. This home is well-maintained, clean, comfortable & you'll be hard-pressed to beat the many views. If you enjoy quiet & being able to listen to undisturbed nature, Nativa is the place. If you love seeing stars, get down to the grassed area by the fire pit and you'll se them all. Sliding Rock & Nativa can't be beat for a dog-friendly & people soothing stay in North Georgia.

The view is probably the most beautiful we have had, and we have stayed at several other Sliding Rock cabins. The road up to the cabin is a little rough, but the directions were excellent and even though it rained the entire time, we had no problems getting to and from the cabin. My only suggestion would be a little more light inside the cabin would be helpful. It was almost impossible to read in the evening. The upstairs bed was very comfortable, and overall it was an excellent experience. Don’t hesitate to visit Nativa!

If you know the road to the cabin is bad and you’re prepared to either endure it or bring enough food for your entire stay, you will enjoy this cabin. If you are expecting a large fenced area for your dogs you will be disappointed. Also, don’t expect to take walks on the road. Way to steep. Great place for quiet and seclusion.

Fall Getaway

When we arrived after dark, they had the lights, heat, and music on, which was a nice welcome rather than walking into a dark, cold, place we'd never been before. It was a bit remote, took awhile to get to from town, but we didn't mind that too much. 4WD would make these roads easier, but we did it with a front wheel drive. Everything was clean, the cabin was well-equipped, and the view was spectacular. Customer service at Sliding Rock Cabins was a pleasure to deal with, they always got back to me quickly when I had questions. Great experience! Thanks!

The recliner was a lifesaver for me as I’m a lung transplant who has trouble sleeping in a bed. The view was marvelous and we could see the torrential rain we had for two days, lol. Very dog friendly place. The road to the cabin can only be described as “verrrrrry interesting “. We felt sorry for the folks who knocked on the door at 10:30 at night who were lost trying to find their place. Our GPS did work all the way up. We loved it and would definitely rent again if we are in the area again.

Million dollar view!

Fireplace chimney, hot tub made for some lovely evenings. While you don't need a 4x4 to get up the road to the cabin, it sure come in handy! Constructive criticism: move the yard firepit up into the parking lot. Provide more firewood. Non skid mats on the steep loft stairs please. The upstairs balcony screen door needs replaced. Comes off every time it's opened. Would stay here again.
