October 2017 Stay

My husband and I took our German Shepherd to Creekside Serenity for a little getaway. We had an amazing time. The cabin was cute, comfortable and well equipped. We spent our days exploring the woods and relaxing by the creek. It was very secluded, peaceful and pet friendly. Would definitely visit again. The only con was that the road was very washed out and we had a hard time getting out. Next time we will take the 4x4!

Cabin in the Georgia Mountains

Jackie and I and our Bernese Mountain Dog enjoyed our four night stay in the mountains outside Ellijay. Our cabin was quaint, rustic, and well equipped...just as described in the listing. Tranquil and serene are appropriate adjectives used in describing the property. While the cabin was very nice, getting to it was not. Once leaving the paved road, the unpaved road leading to the cabin extremely bumpy, the result of ruts and pot holes. It was very challeging in our Honda

Rest and reset

This cabin was amazing. Great location and easy to get to. We loved the hot tub and sitting on the porch relaxing and listening to the creek. The kitchen had everything. If you cross the creek and hike downstream about a quarter mile you will see a small waterfall. There are a few downed trees on the hike but it was worth it. If you go into town, we highly recommend going to the Red Apple Barn for apple picking during season. Mr. P’s takeout was amazing as a quick spot to stop for lunch to take back to the cabin. Fall Branch Falls was another waterfall that we drove out to the trailhead to hike out to. About a half mile hike out to the falls. Definitely bring extra toilet paper and towels with you if you are staying more than two days. Will be back!

Quaint and Secluded

The cabin was perfect and well equipped with everything we needed including dog toys! The creek was a perfect playground along with the many hiking trails and the sound of the babbling water created a perfect backdrop for a game of cards or a nap in the hammock.

(We did that a few of the days) Our Shihtzu Lu-Lu Belle loved rolling in the leaves! She is now a mountain dog!😂 The cabin is well appointed and so well stocked that you don’t have to bring much! It was the perfect size for us! We are definitely returning!

The hot tub was nice after a long walk and in the evenings. Our pups did great here. The fenced in area for the pups to go potty was awesome! We’ve never stayed away from home and found this convenience. We really needed a long weekend of relaxation and that’s exactly what we got!

Aptly Named Cabin

The serenity of sipping morning coffee creekside and from the screened deck was as pleasant as it gets! Hot tub was very nice feature after a day of hiking and shopping. Seamless checking in and out. We would definitely stay here again and bring our dog next time. Nice small penned area for dog. We would also be interested in other properties in same area big enough for 4-6. Please consider re-hanging the low hanging hammock a bit higher and disposing of the bees hanging around the steps to the hot tub... there may be a nest under the deck or stairs.

Cute Place on Beautiful property

The grounds are gorgeous and private. I was disappointed that no one went in before I arrival to turn on the heat. When we arrived, the cabin was 55 degrees inside. Also, they provide an after hours phone number, but do not expect a response until they re-open. I would stay there again, but these are things to be aware of.

From the constant sounds of the creek to relaxing either in the hot tub or by a campfire, Creekside Serenity is the perfect place to get away from everything. The property is well maintained & equipped with everything you, and your 4-legged friends, may need. Being nestled in a little valley offers privacy, but the driveway is pretty steep. Luckily the weather was beautiful, but I don't know if my Honda CRV would have made it out in wet conditions. We also ran into an amazing amount of traffic both on and off the mountain, too!

The cabin is well maintained. It was clean and comfortable. The only drawback was the road in. The main road was rough and bumpy but not too bad. But the turnoff road that leads to cabin driveway was a different matter. I would definitely recommend visiting in a 4 wheel drive, my little CRV had trouble with the steep hill coming out.If you are looking for seclusion and privacy, I would highly recommend this cabin for your getaway!!!

The Perfect Place to Chill

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Creekside Serenity cabin was clean and comfortable, just as described. The bathroom is newly remodeled with a great (very hot:) shower; the screen porch too gets extra high marks – with a new, massive swing. The creek is SWEET as are the outdoor areas – although, in contrast to the inside, the decks and walkways needed a good sweeping, maybe a power-wash. The last part of the drive there is challenging, a dirt road that’s steep in a couple areas and rutted after rains, so do be aware, look at the weather forecast, and evaluate your vehicle if you hope to get out and about a lot. I do think the time on a not-great road is minimal compared to a lot of other cabins – and you are midway between Ellijay and Blue Ridge; very convenient location-wise. I would definitely stay at this cabin again and thank the owners for sharing it.
