Sidste gang en af os var på West Beach, løb vi over dette hjem ved 2175 West Beach Blvd. Det var på markedet, og åh så sød! Tidligere ejerlejet, dette dejlige 5 soveværelse er aldrig blevet lejet før! Vi overtager huset 2. juli, og du kan leje det til en sang til denne første sommer, da min familie netop bringer det online til sommerens gæster i 2019!

Vi har døbt hende Blue Heron for det første år, fordi hun minder os lidt om den majestætiske strandfugl, plus tjek den blå, og refleksionen af himlen også!

Outstanding oasis

We will absolutely be coming back to this property every single time we vacation in gulf shores. It was beautiful clean and exactly what we needed !

Annual Family Beach Trip

Our family had a wonderful time at the beach and staying in this beautiful property! We loved the upper and the lower decks, the heated pool, and our close proximity to the beach! This is definitely a property we will consider again!

Perfect for families

Stayed here with whole family and couldn’t have asked for a better beach access. House was clean and spacious and just what we needed. Would book again!

Perfect, and so incredibly thankful!

We were incredibly thankful to get a response and approval to book so quick considering we booked day of arrival (running from a vacation hurricane). Before we came, Rick even offered to put us up in another one of his places inland if we arrived here and the hurricane shifted west. The house was perfect to meet our needs and could have held more people. We loved how the 3 upstairs rooms had their own view/balcony access. Master suite was luxury size lol. Pool was great! Parking was easy. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals and had 2 fridges. An exterior elevator would be nice for sending luggage and groceries to the main floor (be prepared to walk up and down a lot of stairs) but that's the price you pay for the VIEW which is perfect!! [Awesome! 😎😎😎 I am so glad I was able to help save your vacay when Helene chased you west. I am sorry you, and the homeowner, were impacted by the hurricane, but am happy I was able to assist you all. I'd be happy to have you all back anytime, and appreciate the super nice review 🤗, and that you loved everything from the kitchen to the decks, and the master suite, and more (and of course the VIEWS, right?! Love sitting on the deck having coffee and my laptop). Thanks again! 🙏]

Loved Blue Heron!!!

We loved loved loved the blue heron! The location was great, away from all the area with condos. The back porch was amazing we enjoyed breakfast and coffee out there. The ice maker was a nice surprise saved us on making many trips to Waves. This was my favorite house we have stayed in so far. If we had a couple more of the grown up couples we would have rather been in the others with more bathroom. But this one was the best. I really can't think of anything that was missed. When we got there one coffee pot had a sign on it it was broken. But it just needed the pipe hooked up back inside. Everything worked well. Oh and the nice big laundry room was great to place our ice chest and extras in. We loved it all![Yay! 😁 Thanks Traci! Glad you all had a fantastic time! Reach out to me or any of the Bama Beach Houses gang when ready to lock down next year's trip! 🙏]

Vacation 24

Good property, little pricey. The pipes in the showers upstairs had a whistling noise when in use. Also, could use dishtowels and potholders in the kitchen-only one dishtowel was there. No show stoppers, just would be good to look into.

LOVED Blue Heron

Great location

Lots of room. Extra frig is a must with families. Loved that. Huge space for everyone to have a spot of their own if needed. Pool a bonus for us. Only complaint is the sleeping bottom floor there is no A/C in that room. I get that it would be for kids and they probably wouldn’t care but 18 yr old didn’t care for the hot room. Location is perfect. Away from the busy beach. This beach was always quiet. You can enjoy the view all the time. Management was incredible. Very fast response to any questions I had.

Nice Week on the Gulf

The weather was beautiful 7 out of 9 days! One massive storm that was not too fun. Sand blew from all over and into the pool. One call to the management company and it was taken care of - they were really great. Extremely pleasant! Just like most rentals - some quirks but overall the 6 of us had a great time. A little shore fishing - swimming - sunning and chilling! No problem with beds whatsoever! Very comfortable.

Good stay at the BH

Nice house. Good size rooms. Clean upon arrival and appliances in working order. Beach is nice in this location with tons of shells for the kids to sift through. There is a kettle grill here, but it wasn't in the listing...we brought our own portable though to use. The pool is probably more of a treat in the summer; we paid extra for the heat but the wind tunneled through under the house that made it too breezy for most days.

Family spring break get away

This property was the perfect size for our family of 16! Plenty of room and great location. The heated pool was perfect for the chillier days. The trash service was great. The only down side we could see was the lack of kitchen supplies. Overall we highly recommend this house if you have a bigger group and want to be right on the beach with a heated pool option. Very kid friendly and would stay there again!

Grandkids were in heaven

We had a great time. Local management came quickly to address a pool issue and were very pleasant to deal with.... We enjoyed our trip very much. Loved the big porches, beach access and the pool! My grandkids were in heaven. I would stay there again.

Great as usual!

Blue Heron beach house was great as usual! Thank you for all your guidance and help throughout this process. The two issues that we had (toilet not flushing and then a hole in tub) got resolved very quickly once I reached out. Having a four month old this year we were a little worried on how it'd go- but it was great. The setup there is so nice. Thanks again for all your help. I'm glad you've been able to enjoy all your family activities and graduation- busy times! We hope to be back sometime in the future!

Blue Heron

We had the best long term stay at Blue Heron. We were fortunate to be able to come for all of January and February, and truly had a wonderful time. We will be back at another of Rick and Susan's homes next winter! We wanted to have December and Blue Heron wasn't available because of the holidays so we will try another one! Thank you so much!

Beach week was great

Blue Heron

This house was steps from the beach and the layout of the house was great for me without so many steps inside. The kitchen had everything I could imagine and it's great not to pack my kitchen supplies from home anymore. But my absolute favorite is the back porches. I spent hours there if I didn't want to be down at the beach or by the pool. I think I may have had to call once for assistance with the air and it was corrected within minutes. One of my very favorite houses from the best owners! Thanks VS❤️

Loved our second stay at Blue Heron. Spotless place. Beautiful views. And responsive host!

This was our second stay here. A great place for our family to gather and enjoy the beach! Rick was friendly, responsive, and helpful. Though we have been vacationing in the area for 32 years, he suggested some good places we didn't know about. Especially enjoyed the deck. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

We loved it!!!

We had a great time! the covered deck was good with the rain we had daily:(. The house is great and response was wonderful. The new fridge was super nice and cooled great! I had 6 of my 10 grands with me so was a sweet time of memories! It's a great house and we did love it!!!!

We had a wonderful vacation!

Things were great! We did have a few bad storms and we think one lightning strike either hit the house or very close. We let the management company know that two tvs upstairs didn't work and they were there almost immediately to check it out. Very responsive. We had a wonderful vacation and can't beat the location!

Perfect trip. House amazing. Beach's great. Couldn't be better.

Checked with my family and no one had any suggestions. They all said the house was perfect. I loved the additional roof in the second floor patio. The pictures showed it open but the shelter and fans came in so handy. We are all still talking about what a great stay we had in your home.
