VELKOMMEN TIL DYNDE BERGLODGE! Dette avancerede bjælkehus blev totalrenoveret i 2019. Beliggende på 10+ hektar skovklædt skov, har dette hjem en stor gård med ildgrube, der er perfekt til madlavninger og sammenkomster, en dejlig afskærmet veranda og en privat vandresti ned til din egen dock på Deering Lake - en af New Hampshire's reneste søer.

Fremragende til leje af en eller to familier, dette hjem kan sove 8+ personer. Nyd kajak, kano, svømning, fiskeri, vandreture og mere. Medbring din egen båd eller brug vores lille udkørsel! Bare få minutter fra golf, skiløb, vandrestier, historiske steder og fremragende restauranter og pubber. Mindre end en time fra Massachusetts-grænsen giver Deep Mountain Lodge en meget rig ferieoplevelse uden pendler eller trafikpropper i Lakes-regionen. Tilgængelig for leje ugentligt fra august 2019.

We thoroughly enjoyed our return trip to this Log Home in Deering! It proved to be another amazing week which started off with the goodies left in the fridge and on the counter by these most thoughtful owners! Breakfast would have been all set for us with their thoughtful purchases. With comfortable beds, incredible neighbors, amazing firepit, easy accessible waterfront, and all the amenities you could want, this home is perfect for getways with your family! We can't speak highly enough about our stay here! Thank you, and we cannot wait to come back!

Great getaway

Wonderful well kept home with a lovely screened in porch. Great for morning coffee and relaxing! Nice backyard with a fire pit, picnic table and games. A short walk to the water, which was awesome! The lake was clean and refreshing! We made use of the kayaks and saw many loons with their young! Definitely recommend this place!

Memorial weekend getaway

The property was great! Very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals and just relax. Lake was nice but it was a little chilly over the weekend. The hosts left some muffins, cookies, fruit and some beverages which was we though was a nice touch.

Beautiful Property with a lot of charm!

My friends and I meet up every year for our college reunion, and this place was hands down the best we’ve stayed at! The log home was cozy, spacious, and had everything we needed for a perfect weekend. The walk to the lake was beautiful and peaceful — exactly what we were looking for. Rejuvenating getaway

The lodge provided our family with a comfortable and relaxing long weekend away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The property manager was responsive to our questions before and during our stay. The furnishings in the lodge were comfortable, and all essentials were provided. We enjoyed playing cornhole and roasting marshmallows in the backyard, and on the one rainy day of our trip, we made good use of the board games provided. The short walk to the lake is a bit steep -- but worth it! We all enjoyed boating and fishing and sunning. The drive to grocery stores and restaurants is only 10-15 minutes.

We enjoyed a quick summer getaway at this lake house. The home was clean and well-maintained, and the stocked fridge was a nice surprise. The house could use more lighting inside—it felt a bit dark at times.The property is right across the street from the path to the lake, which I hadn’t realized beforehand. The floating dock was a great feature, and the beach area felt private. The lake side was mostly shady during the day, but the dock stayed sunny through the afternoon.The family staying at the house next to the beach was friendly and helpful. The town itself is very small with limited activities, but we did find a charming ice cream shop that was worth the visit.

Great 4th of July getaway!

Our family had a great 6 day stay! Arrived to a surprise of some breakfast essentials, chocolate chip cookies, and beverages. House was immaculate and stocked with every essential we could have possibly needed. Our first night we noticed the grill wasn’t in good shape and we were apprehensive to use it. I contacted Tom, he answered immediately and within an hour he pulled up with a brand new grill for us. What a great host !We enjoyed days in the water, kayaking, fishing (caught and released a ton of fish) and swimming. Nights by the fire and the large screened in porch was bonus to hang and play games. Even caught 2 nights of fireworks displays from neighbors on the lake for 4th of July. Great place! Great host! Great vacation!

3 days at the cabin

We had a nice stay in this beautiful cabin. The hosts were extremely receptive and responded to all my questions. The house was beautiful and they left us some treats in the fridge! Thank you!! We brought our dogs so we were looking for a private place where we could let them off leash and not bother anyone else! It was nice to have access to the lake! We brought our tubes down and the dogs and jumped off the dock. I do wish we had a beach area but that’s ok! It was clearly stated we had a dock! Not much to do around the Deering area but if you’re looking for quiet and private this is your place! The house is absolutely beautiful! We loved the screened in porch and had a fire in the evenings around the firepit! It was a great opportunity to escape the grind and relax with my family! A plus I got to include our dogs!

Beautiful house with Lake access .

Wonderful 3 night stay in this beautiful log home. Access to the lake, dock and kayaks was a bonus. We had a blast on the lake and did a good amount of fishing. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful cabin!

This was a perfect place for our family to come and relax! The cabin is a perfect size and feels so peaceful. Every comfort was provided and Tom was a great host.

Family get away

Lovely log cabin home in the woods, with a quick little walk to the lake to our own dock. We loved having use of kayaks and swimming out to the floating dock. Loved the loons.

NH Vacation

The log cabin was very nice and clean. The hosts were so kind and provided some groceries and snacks to start off with. The lake which was down two paths from the house was beautiful.! We had a great time!

Delightful Stay in Deering

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and well equipped! My adult children loved playing in the lake, and I had a great time cooking for all. The goodies left in the fridge were a really nice touch. We’d love to come again, if our schedules all can accommodate another visit!

Summer rental

Perfect for our short getaway!

Four adults all enjoyed the home! The kitchen had everything we needed. The Property Manager/Owner had thoughtful treats and any other items. We will return if vacation time allows us to visit New Hampshire again!

Wonderful get away

Our stay was great from the time we arrived to the time we left. The house was clean with everything you will need. The hosts left goodies in the fridge. Short drive to center, Shaws and hardware. The property was private and quiet. Short walk to lake. The path is a bit steep for some.

Lovely stay

We had a wonderful week at the camp! It was private and quiet with access to the water which was lovely. The walkway to the water is steep but once there a beautiful spot to spend time swimming and fishing. Host was very responsive and there were sweet welcoming gifts upon arrival. Thanks so much!

Great time

Wonderful Log House in the woods of NH.Immaculately clean, air-conditioned throughout the house. It has everything you need. The hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with. The lake is beautiful, quiet, with clear water perfect for swimming, and access to the water is easy via a nice and sturdy aluminum dock. We would like to mention a somewhat surprising sight that we encountered when we walked into the house. On the kitchen table, we found a large vase filled with fruits and a plate of fresh muffins and cookies. Additionally, the refrigerator was stocked with provisions, including a bottle of Prosecco and a case of local New Hampshire beer.What a treat!!! Do not bring any kitchenware with you. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you will need. One thing that needs an upgrade is the grill outside. The heat reflectors are all burned through, making it difficult to control the heat. The house is deep in the woods, so watch out for mosquitoes!Our family (five adults and a three-year-old child) loved the four nights we spent in that place during the hot summer days in NH, and we recommend it without any reservations.

Great lake... great stay!

We had a wonderful time at Deep Mountain Lodge. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a great week at the lake. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook all of our meals with ease. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed exploring Deering Reservoir. The water is perfect for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, etc. My husband was able to launch his small sunfish sailboat at the public boat launch and dock it right by the house. At night we enjoyed the campfire on the property. We had a memorable week!

Beautiful lake lodge for summer fun

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Tom and Patty’s lodge. The place was super clean, well appointed, and truly as described. Deering Lake is beautiful. We enjoyed boating (we towed our boat) and paddling and the swim platform was the best. My three teens loved every moment and every bit of the lake. The breakfast goodies were a lovely surprise especially since we arrived too late to go to the store so it was wonderful to be able to make breakfast in the morning! Grocery store and some really good restaurants are about a 10 minute drive away. Thank you Tom, Pat, and Lisa for a memorable stay!!!

Meet Tom and Patty Byrne! Our family has been on Deering Lake since the 1950s. Tom runs an education company, while Patty works for a consulting firm. We have two adult daughters: Lindsay, who operates The Wet Nose Project—a dog walking and boarding company with the mission of saving shelter animals; and Jessica, a medical laboratory scientist. We also have two very friendly Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, named Scout and Blue. We purchased the Deep Mountain property in 2018 and have fully renovated the log house, providing private lake access through our undeveloped lakefront lot just across the way.

This property abuts our family's land so, when we learned it was listed for sale in mid-2018, we made the decision to purchase the property to ensure it was not developed or subdivided. The property included a log home, which we gutted and fully renovated for use as a vacation rental. This project was completed in July 2019, and the house is now ready for guests! We've also added a wooded path that leads to your own private dock and the pristine 323-acre Deering Lake (also known as Deering Reservoir, or by its native American name of Lake Piscataquog—the headwaters of the Piscataquog River).

Deep Mountain Lodge delivers the best of both worlds—complete privacy on 10+ acres of forested woodland, and lakefront access featuring your own private dock on Deering Lake. Enjoy our high-end kitchen, three bedrooms (all with air conditioning), lovely screened porch, large flat screen TVs with hundreds of FIOS channels and Netflix, a large yard with fire pit and a brand new Weber grill that is great for hosting cookouts or gatherings. On the lake, you'll find endless opportunities for fun and relaxation exploring miles of shorefront, or boating and swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Deering Lake. Or, bring your mountain bikes or hiking boots and hit our local trails or miles of quiet country roads.
