Enjoyable stay, great location, lovely homely villa, beautiful outside area to eat in, although we did find the beds to be a bit hard, and the pool slightly chilly but a good size.Son Bou is a perfect location with great restaurants, shops, a beautiful beach and easy acces to explore the rest of the island (we hired a car).

Good afternoon, I'm sorry about the rating you gave us, considering that you mentioned the pool was cold — this doesn't depend on us but rather on the weather on the island. As for the beds, this is the first time a guest has told us they were hard. I understand that's a very personal matter. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your stay, Mónica

We stayed here as two couples (30–35 years old) and had an absolutely wonderful time! The house was welcoming and cozy from the moment we arrived, and we immediately felt at home. We especially loved the open-plan kitchen, where we cooked together in the evenings. Afterwards, we enjoyed dinner outside with a beautiful view of the pool and Son Bou, played cards, had drinks, or simply relaxed and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and great conversations. We spent some days exploring Mahón and Ciutadella and relaxing at the beach, but we also loved staying at the house all day. Whether by the pool, in the house, or in the beautiful surrounding garden, there was always a perfect spot to enjoy the sun, partial shade, or some proper shade. We also had a small issue with the Wi-Fi at the beginning, but Monica responded very quickly and helped us sort it out without any problems.Thank you so much to Monica and her family for letting us spend almost 12 wonderful days in your beautiful home. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

Great Holiday Villa

We loved it. Stayed for two weeks, and it was just what we had hoped for. Awesome pool with nice view and plenty of shady spots surrounding. AC, Wifi, BBQ all worked perfectly. Kitchen did the job and we cooked quite a few meals there. Son Bou turned out to be a great base to expire the island. Monica and Mike were great to work with.

Great stay in Son Bou

Nice house to spend summer holidays, great pool and nice dinner area outside. The house is cozy and well decorated, bedrooms well equipped with AC, bathrooms and not modern but clean and do the job. Might be walking distance to the beach but the hill is step so we never tried. Parking near the beach was very easy. Kitchen area might be slightly improved (no espresso machine, a lot of dishes but a bit outdated) but it was not really an issue. Overall a very good stay. Son Bou is central on the island so great to go to Mahon (25min), Ciutadella (45min) or anywhere else).

Beautiful villa

Beautiful villa at the top of san Jaime, the perfect place to relax and enjoy beautiful views. Villa was exactly as described and well accommodated 6 adults plus a 10 month old perfectly. The property is at the top of a very steep hill, so it is worth having a car for trips to the supermarket. However a taxi from the centre cost €7.50 and took a matter of minutes, we did discover one of the supermarkets did do delivery though which is worth knowing for the future. All in all a fantastic holiday

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The house was very nice, in a great location, and offered beautiful ocean views. It was very clean, and getting around the island was easy from where we were located. Communication with the host was excellent, and they always responded quickly to any questions we had.Our main issue with the property was the beds. The mattresses were extremely thin and very firm, to the point that you could feel the coils. Unfortunately, none of us got a good night’s sleep during our stay. This was our biggest complaint, and unless the mattresses are replaced with more comfortable ones, we would likely not return. We did have a few other minor issues. There was no soap in one of the bathrooms and none in one of the showers, and there were no paper towels or napkins when we arrived. We’ve stayed at many VRBOs and don’t expect a fully stocked pantry, but we do feel that basic toiletry items should be provided upon arrival. Another issue was a musty smell throughout the house that we noticed each time we came back.In summary, we had a very good stay, but not a great one. While the location, cleanliness, and communication were all excellent, the uncomfortable beds and a few missing essentials detracted from the overall experience.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the house, its location, the ocean views, and that you found it clean and convenient for exploring the island. It also means a lot to know that our communication helped make your stay more enjoyable. We truly appreciate your honest feedback about the mattresses. We understand how important a good night's sleep is, and we're sorry they were not comfortable for you. Your comments have been noted and will be carefully considered as we evaluate future improvements to the property. Thank you as well for pointing out the missing soap, paper towels, and napkins, as well as the musty smell you noticed. We apologize for these oversights. We have shared your feedback with our housekeeping and maintenance teams so we can address these issues and improve the experience for future guests. We sincerely appreciate your valuable feedback and are glad that, overall, you had a good stay. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide an even better experience. Safe travels. Best, Mónica

Great family home!

The home was beautiful and the location was very convenient. Being 6 months pregnant and with a 3 year old, the walk to the beach was fine, but getting back up to the house was a chore, so we typically drove. Everything for the most part was well stocked, but we were a little disappointed to find out there were no pool towels or beach towels. Travelling from Canada, we didn't think to pack this with us, so we did have to buy a few things to enjoy the pool and beach. We also found the beds extremely hard and uncomfortable, but this is personal preference. Mike the property manager was very easy to get a hold of and Monica was always very responsive as well. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, Menorca is such a beautiful spot!

Fantastic hilltop villa

Amazing villa over looking the sea in Son Bou. Well equipped with all you need to cook both inside and out on the bbq. Great swimming pool to cool off in after a long day. As some other guests have commented the beach and restaurants/ shops are are the bottom of a steep hill so I’d recommend hiring a car! This is a great base for exploring the island, the host was quick to respond to my queries and had a caretaker locally to address any issues (not that we had any) would return!

Heerlijke week eind september

Very nice house, functionally furnished and with everything you need. The pool is clean, with stairs as access also convenient and the sea view is beautiful. Outdoor grill, possible child protection at the pool, air conditioning, cleaning service, SAT TV, WLAN complete the positive impression. The beds were “ok”. However, this is a matter of taste. Both the ownerin Monica and the manager on site were always available and helped quickly. Thanks a lot for this. On foot you need to the beach about 20 minutes. Approximately 10-15 minutes to a small supermarket and bakery. We recommend a rental car, so you can shop in Mahon and also to the beach with children is recommended to have a rental car. The slope from the beach to the house after a long day at the beach can be challenging. We had a very nice time here
