Perfect Getaway!

This property exceeded all expectations. What a treat to find ourselves enjoying the country, poolside. We were looking for a quiet weekend to enjoy with our daughter and found it. The home has everything you would need, was very clean, had private outdoor patio seating, lovely amenities and the pool was delightful during the heat. Thank you to the owners for making our trip exactly what we were hoping for!

Little yellow guest house

These owners are amazing! Beautiful countryside. Quiet. The pool was crisp and perfect. There is a garden that people can work in. The owners were so quick on responses. This has been , hands down best stay i have ever had.

A lovely sanctuary!

Our stay was lovely. The guest house was warm and inviting with special touches throughout the home and outside. Comfortable beds and a very quiet atmosphere. Great patio for outside dining with a beautiful view of the hazelnut orchards on the hill. Although we never met the owners, their note along with snacks and beverages said to enjoy and let them know if we needed anything at anytime. It's certainly a great home away from home to enjoy. 😀

Alina anticipated our every need. We felt totally at peace and cared for our entire stay. Her guest house is a home away from home for us when we come to the area to visit our daughter who attends college in Newberg. Alina allowed us to host a meal for our daughter and her friends at the property and provided us with everything we were lacking to pull it off. Gracious hostess.

Peaceful getaway

This is a great property. As advertised. House has everything you need and the hosts were friendly and easy to work with. Even though it’s a shared property, we felt comfortable to walk the grounds and use the pool with plenty of privacy. The location is amazingly serene and close enough to town. Beds were comfortable! This area is rough for WiFi and cell service. Check in/out process was simple. The house was ready for us with the ac turned on.

Wonderful mini break with lots of extra treats.

A very big thanks to Alina and Derek for a wonderful stay. It was perfect for our family. Lots of swimming in a big pool with amazing views of nature and hazelnut orchards. There was also lots of things to entertain our 7 year old from an abundance of garden toys, outdoor playground, a wonderful vegetable garden, tree rope swing, chickens and baby chicks. Also great outdoor toys for Juno who is 1. We loved being able to pick some vegetables from the garden and grill them up for dinner. On our last night they created a fire pit and left us items to make s’mores. An unexpected treat. We will definitely be back. Thank you for making our stay special.

Special Place in Wine Country

What a pleasure it was to wind down in such a special and idyllic place. Home was comfortable and outdoor spaces were perfect for morning coffee and evening grilling and relaxing. Plenty of excellent wineries nearby as well as produce stands and a great fish market. We'd definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Read other reviews for helpful information about the property. Host was responsive to inquiries upon arrival.

Quiet Retreat In Wine Country

My husband and I stayed with our two small dogs while I was in town for work events/meetings. This a was perfect, quiet location to spend our off time and evenings. The hosts we kind, responsive and exceptionally accommodating. We would certainly stay here again.

Very pleasant

Our group had a nice time at this property. The owner was friendly and accommodating. We’d booked the place specifically for the pool. The weekend was overcast and not that warm but since the water was heated we were still able to swim. This property feels very quiet, relaxing and remote but town is only 10 minutes or so away for eating out or grabbing something you forgot.

A wonderful home, property, and pool!

I was so excited to find this property and could tell it was special by the photos. However, this place went above and beyond all expectations. Communication with Alina was wonderful and any requests we had were quickly accommodated. The small kitchen took some getting used to but now I feel like I will be a pro next time. There were so many little touches that made this a magical experience for my husband, daughter, and I. I feel so grateful we got to spend some time here.

Amazing Getaway Close to Home

I am hesitant to share how great this property was so that I don't have to compete with anyone to book it. Alina and Derek are fantastic hosts. The property is amazing and relaxing. And the pool was the highlight of our summer. We can't wait to return!

Showing-Off Oregon For Friends

We live downtown Portland and we had friends visiting from out of town for a week, and since we couldn’t go on a big vacation this year we decided to go all out showing our friends around. We had roof top dinners downtown Portland, explored the Oregon coast, and of course we had to show them wine country. We did a day of horse back wine tasting and another day of limo wine tasting. This house was the perfect home to come back to. It totally fit into our little them of luxury and pampering. It felt very comfortable, private, and serene. Surrounded by tall trees, lush landscaping, grape vines, fresh air, and sunshine; you could not ask for a more picturesque setting. The pool was refreshing and relaxing, and the major draw for booking the home. However, grilling out on the private terrace for an alfresco dinner, exploring the garden, and getting ready together while listening to music in the beautiful house added to the wonderful memories we’ll savor forever. The hosts are wonderful, kind, and attentive. They both played a huge part in our happiness as guests. I can’t say enough good things. You should consider yourself lucky if you get the opportunity to stay at this amazing property. I can’t wait return someday. Best wishes to you both!

Summer Swim Fun

This place was the perfect getaway! We have children ages 6-14 and everyone was entertained. It has everything: pool, playground, fire pit, chickens, garden and acres of land for kids to explore on their own. The homeowners were beyond an A+ rating and even though they are on site, you still have all the privacy you would expect. The small scale kitchen has all the amenities you will need, the only drawback is space to keep non-refrigerator items (summer time we just used the fireplace mantle). The refrigerator was just the right size to keep a weeks worth of groceries for 6 kids and 2 adults and there was a deep freezer tucked away outside that came in handy too. The guest house has an open floor plan that spills out onto the patio into a small private yard, naturally fenced in with hedges. From there you have a direct view of the play structure and hazelnut grove. Just through the hedges is a gas fire-pit equipped with a large table and camping chairs ready for you. The pool is the perfect distance from the guest house, you can easily walk back and forth but also located in the opposite direction of any of the other areas of interest where the kids want to explore. There's also a pool house with a restroom and small fridge too. The pool was equipped with life jackets of all sizes, beach towels, floaties and a blue tooth speaker. It's a classic pool with a shallow and deep end. Shallow enough for babies to splash on the stairs and deep enough for the adults to show kids how a cannonball is really done! And according to our 8 year old pool monitor, 82-85 degrees at all times. Also, it's worth packing the snorkel and goggles even though you don't want to dig it out of the garage:) Kids are quiet when they snorkel! The property is suitable for families with any age children, bedrooms are large enough for an additional air mattress or pack n play. Ours really enjoyed setting up their tents and camping in the yard! We cannot say enough good things about this place. We've already decided to book for next summer!!

Peaceful, relaxing, and all that was needed.

We had a wonderful time staying in this lovely guesthouse. The property is beautiful and serene. The owners went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable. It is a very inviting, clean home and the beds were very comfortable. We traveled to the area for a family member's surgery and the guesthouse was an excellent place for recovery. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will be back.

Great property and great stay!

The guest house was clean with several small amenities like snacks, ample towels and bath supplies and kitchen equipment. The space was comfortable and the location was serene, peaceful and beautiful. The location was great - within a few mins of coffee shops, grocery stores and wineries. Lastly, the owner was easy to work with and very responsive to any question. Highly recommend!
