This property is as seen in photos. Large space for large parties. Host acts promptly when there is any issue. One recommendation will be to get a better way for us to unlock the gate due to it being so secluded and dark. Definitely recommend.

Communication with the host and the check in was great. House is not what it appears to be online. It was fine and clean. But then things like the walls, nooks and cranny were dirty. Leak in the laundry, which was fixed promptly. Coffee pot didn’t work, no knives in kitchen. Just some things that didn’t match the price.

Very Comfortable and Attentive Service

I rented this home for a company retreat and we were all so impressed with the property. Secluded, clean, and comfortable but not inconveniently far from necessities. When we needed service quickly the owner was very quick to respond and resolve our issue. They were above and beyond and I highly recommend this property.

The Villa Rose Estate was the perfect location for my family and I to enjoy each others company. Just as described, this house was spacious for my large family and it allowed social distancing. Sara was very helpful and responsive during this process (mind you, this is my first time using Vrbo). The experience was amazing. Now for the house, words cannot describe how beautiful it was. The trail to get to the house was a little rough. However, the actual property was amazing. The house was clean and spacious. It was a wonderful experience. Home was clean but dated. Listing says pool won’t be heated through summer months. Apparently September is a summer month despite the pool being too cold to use, we were not offered an option to heat. The pool and number of bedroom/bathrooms were a primary factor in our booking so we were pretty disappointed. Communication could have been better.

Good Bones, but dated, run-down, and in a sketchy area

The property itself is beautiful. The home has good "bones" but needs a lot of upkeep/refurbishment. Many power sockets don't work or are too loose to hold in plugs. Glass cooktop circa 1990s broke during our stay after placing a hot pan on the stovetop...where hot pans are supposed to go. A the house is honestly too big/nice for the neighborhood where it resides.

Villa rose

House was excellent. Did have trouble with an AC unit which was rectified. Wi-Fi and TV did go out but was not reported during our stay. Range top was used but had difficulty heating to cook eggs. Listing leads to thinking hose in gated community but house is isolated and accessible through a locked gate. Access to house over rutted and rough dirt road. House very comfortable and everyone enjoyed the stay. Kids loved the pool and the frogs that accumulated there

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear the house was comfortable and that everyone enjoyed the stay—especially the kids with the pool and the frogs! We appreciate you noting the AC issue, which was addressed during your visit. While the Wi-Fi and TV concerns weren’t brought to our attention during the stay, we’ll certainly look into them along with the stovetop performance. The property is indeed secluded and situated behind a locked gate for added privacy, and we’ll continue working on improving the access road. We value your insights and hope to host you again in the future.

Our home away from home

We really enjoyed our stay. It was all that we needed to have our family ceremony. The space had a lot of amenities that our family loved and can't wait to enjoy again in the future. The only issues we have is that the roadway was very Rocky and uneven damaging a couple of her family members vehicles. And the littering and the trash on the way to the space through the driveway that we had to take our time to clean up that went into our whole trash as a whole. Which didn't belong to us to begin with. Communication with the owner was was prompt and professional prompt and professional.

The house does not look anything like the pictures. Sara stopped communicating once we arrived and we couldn’t get in the gate. After threatening to call the police, she responded. After getting in the gate, the door to the house wasn’t even locked. She never told us or had in the description that the house was located in the woods down a narrow bumpy path, very unmanicured with trash all along the way. The house smelled horrible, the garage had a terrible odor in it. I’ve never seen so many air fresheners in one house which lets me know she knew of the smell already. I have a video of the house. The windows on the rear porch looked as if they’ve never been cleaned. Save your money. We didn’t stay, we stayed long enough to take pictures and videos then had to find somewhere else to stay because we had driven 7 hours.
