The grounds are well kept. There is no office so when you need help with check in or the pool door code you have to call to get help which was decent help both times we called. The pool was actually like pic showed. It was quite large. Kitchen was stocked pretty well for cooking.

Thank you for the review. Glad the grounds and the large pool matched the photos and that the kitchen was well stocked. Sorry the lack of an on-site office made check-in less convenient, glad our phone support helped. We’ll work to make the pool door code and check-in instructions clearer. Hope to host you again.

We had the best time staying here. The condo was just as described and the view is the best! I could sit and watch the waves all day. We were here over the 4th of July and enjoyed the fireworks on the beach.

We enjoyed our stay very much at Gulfin My Life Away. The property was clean, right on the beach and a perfect location away from crowds. The security to enter the parking lot was an added bonus. We will stay here again.

I selected this property because of the direct views of the ocean. Why go if you can't sit on a large deck and see/hear the ocean? It was perfect. The direct beach access was also wonderful. Very nicely decorated and large unit. We will be back!

This property is exactly what we were looking for. Secluded beach front property while still being a short drive to shops and restaurants. We were a bit surprised that there was no office or shared indoor space but that didn’t create an issue. Our rental space and the pool area where very clean. We stayed on the third floor with the pool centered in front and still sufficiently insulated from the noise. I’m not sure how well the lower floors are. But it seemed like most of the guests with small children stayed in rooms closer to the pool area. The view is decent from the third floor although at night the lights in and around the pool are very bright and affect the balcony atmosphere. Still just a minor issue but I would recommend 3 or 4 floor if you prioritize in being out on the balcony enjoying the evenings beach front.

Thank you for your review. Glad the home was exactly what you were looking for — a secluded beachfront spot still a short drive to shops and restaurants. Appreciate the note about no office/shared indoor space and glad it didn’t create an issue. Happy the rental space and pool were very clean and that your third-floor unit felt sufficiently insulated from noise. Thanks for the feedback on the bright pool lights at night; that’s helpful for future guests, and choosing the 3rd or 4th floor is a good tip if evening balcony time is a priority. We appreciate the rating and hope to welcome you back.

The property was as stated and very clean. The host was easy to communicate with, however we did not like the verification process, seemed very unnecessary. The check out was great, not much required from us.

Short walk to the beach and nice pool!

Our small group of 5 (including 2 children) had so much fun even though it was too cold to enjoy the beach for more than 1 day. The view is spectacular and is such a short walk to the beach. My husband is on crutches and found the walk to and from the beach very easy. They also have an elevator and carts to lug your bags to and from your car. We’ll definitely be back!

Not fully stocked

I use VRBO because I want a home like experience without having to bring so many supplies. This property is nice but they don’t provide basic supplies such as laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, paper products. Also the front bedroom doesn’t have blackout curtains. The beds are very comfortable.

Grand Caribbean condos our preferred beach getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Having stayed in several of these rentals available over many years, including a repeat visit to this one, they are always accurately described. Minor maintenance issues usually addressed promptly though this time balcony door not unlocking in master bedroom would be fixed for next occupancy. While 4 of us were in the condo we let who we thought was the maintenance man in to fix it but he was a bug spray guy. Had to ask him not to spray our bedrooms - we suggest management should schedule those treatments between visitors when condo is empty of visitors and their possessions.
