Næsten Heaven 5 soveværelser / 5 Bath House

Næsten himlen er et utroligt feriehus: rummelig, professionelt indrettet i luksuriøs, men fornuftig stil og med en fantastisk beliggenhed. Ejendommen er rolig og privat, men alligevel praktisk til restauranter, butikker og aktiviteter i området Captiva Village (kun et minuts gang til Green Flash Restaurant). Stranden i Mexicogolfen ligger kun et hus væk, og vandet kan ses fra master suite's solrige balkon.

Værelserne er store og lyse, og nogle har en dejlig udsigt over bugten eller Mexicogolfen. Hjemmet har en opvarmet pool med vandfald fra det i jorden spabad - alt sammen omgivet af en dejlig solterrasse og gjort privat med tæt tropisk landskabsarkitektur.

Køkkenet er "at dø for", som du kunne forvente ved "Næsten himlen." Det er bare blevet opgraderet yderligere til sød perfektion, med yderligere belysning, en premium indbygget mikrobølgeovn, nye kabinetfronter, en glidebakke til skraldespand og mere. Køkkenvinduerne ser ned på poolterrassen nedenfor, som det ses på fotos.

Næsten himlen er usædvanlig for sin omfattende og smarte implementering af avanceret teknologi. Selvfølgelig har huset ubegrænset telefon (USA) og trådløs internetforbindelse i hele huset. Men det sjove begynder virkelig med underholdningssystemerne.

The Perfect House

We took 5 of our children (ages 22 to 11) plus one grand baby (15 months). The house is a short walk across the street from the beach (very easy for us to run back and forth things for the baby when needed). I asked multiple questions before the trip to make sure we were geared up properly and they always responded quickly. The house had chairs, wagons, etc for the beach and plenty of space! We cooked all of our meals at the house other than one night. The kitchen had ample cookware and dishes for our family (even made a pie one night and cookies one night). But, it’s also within walking distance of restaurants and ice cream!

This was our families vacation house for my daughters wedding at Tween Waters. The house was fabulous and exactly as pictured. It's conveniently located just up the road from Tween Waters where the wedding and reception was held. Everyone enjoyed all the common areas inside and outside while having their own space to retreat to when they desired. The elevator made moving groceries and luggage to other floors easy. The vegetation and landscaping made the entire experience seem tropical and secluded. Beach access was very convenient; up the driveway and across Captiva Drive. The ocean views and sunsets from various patios and balconies were beautiful. We found all the beach gear well suited for our family of 11. We would highly recommend a stay here while visiting Captiva.

The house is large with plenty of space for everyone and the pool was great, private, and kept at the perfect temperature. The house was clean with only minor wear and tear. Loved the location and walked to the beach everyday. Close to everything you would want to do in the Captiva village! We only had a few minor issues that were handled promptly and professionally. We worked with Albert and he was so accommodating and he promptly answered any questions we had. I had also communicated with Albert prior to our trip and he always answered my questions. I’ve rented many properties in Florida and American Realty Group was superior to all other property management companies I’ve encountered.

Almost Heaven Lives Up to Its Name

This was a family vacation that included 5 adults, two teenagers, three children ages 3-7 and an infant. The house accommodations were exactly what we needed. Plenty of space to gather as well as be able to have some alone time. It was very nice having two separate, but nearby, dining tables. The large kitchen area had two coffee pots and all the utensils, plates, and appliances we needed. For the beach, there was 10 chairs, 2 beach carts, plenty of towels and 1 umbrella; the other umbrella was broken. The house had board games, puzzles, and a ping pong table. It’s a great location, with close access to a beach area that is sparsely populated. Unfortunately, there remains the after effects of the hurricane; only a few stores were open and only to 6 pm. Overall, still a very relaxing and enjoyable location to vacation.

President's Day Week 2020

The kids were ages 3-8 and had a great time at the beautiful pool and the beach across the street. Lots of shells to bring home.The layout of the house offered lots of room and privacy. We called management to fix the pool lights and the house music system. The response was quick and we enjoyed the improvements.Recommendations to make it better:-Paper products that were supplied were stingy for this high level of property.-The AC in the two bedrooms on the first floor was not working well.-The dishwasher is ready for a replacement.

Lovely time in Almost Heaven

Access to the beach was very good; we walked down the long driveway, crossed Captiva Dr (which did not have heavy traffic), and we were on the beach! The home was very nice and met our needs for space. We enjoyed the ping pong table in the garage. There was plenty equipment for the beach -- 8 or 10 beach chairs in very good condition, 2 beach wagons, lots of beach towels, and a cooler. As we were packing up to leave, we found a Pack-N-Play. It would have been nice to know that it was there. The kitchen had adequate supplies, as did bathrooms. Want to note that Albert was very helpful when we called him with questions.

The house is comfortable and has wonderful amenities as far as a beach house goes. Every time we’re there it’s relaxing and easy to enjoy. Plenty of room for my family and would recommend to anyone looking to see the island for the first time. Property management is on point with any issues and takes care of guests if there’s any issues. Couldn’t be happier with my stay each time I’ve been there. We love Almost Heaven.

There was always someone available. We were there just before the hurricane Ian and we felt very well taken care of. Unfortunately, we had to leave the island early because of the hurricane. We deeply regret that the island was so affected. We hope that the whole team is doing well and that no one was harmed. We also very much hope that no major damage was done to the house. Thanks again!

Truly Almost Heaven

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Captiva Island is a Paradise and Almost Heaven was a perfect vacation spot on the island. The house was stocked with all amenities including a sharp knife (this is important when cooking), ample pots and pans and cooking utensils, two coffee makes including a k-cup and a 12 cup pot, clean beach towels, beach chairs, a beach cart, even jewelry trays by the bedside. The house is decorated nicely and was clean. It’s important to know you have to cross a two lane road to get to the beach—it’s the only road on the island and not a lot of traffic so an easy cross but important for family with little children. The beach in front of the house is spectacular and almost private because there are only a few houses and no condos —we experienced manatees swimming close enough we could reach out and touch them (they won’t hurt you but don’t touch them). We stayed in July and the back yard was overrun with misquotes and no-see-ums so we did not get to use the backyard oasis. I would have loved to as there was a grill, large table, clean pool and beautiful landscape. We did experience a plumbing back up during our stay which also prevented us from using the outdoor shower, however, management responded promptly and resolved the issue with professionalism — it was the 4th of July weekend and they made the repair happen despite the holiday! I would 100% recommend the property but I wouldn’t go in July—it was too buggy to enjoy the night.
